I noticed a poor review for this dental practice (somewhere recently) and hastily entered my own…read morenegative experience with one of the office staff. Since then, I haven't been able to forget that hasty post. Other than the one office staff that is outright rude, and one dentist who is full of charisma personally, yet clearly doesn't seem to care about his dental treatment of my mouth (hence I avoid him), what good is the charisma? I should ABSOLUTELY offer my views more accurately on the rest of the staff. The office help (minus one, probably someone's cousin or sister) are without a doubt the kindest people one could encounter. They truly go out of their way to accommodate, make me & my spouse feel cared for, and are always exceptionally polite. Absolute dreams, 99.9% of the office staff. Re Dr. Bill? He is a dentist. I am not. So how can I assess? Well he has more designations than nearly any dentist I know of. DMD, FAGD, MAGD, and always tries to be in the office, even if I am only getting a cleaning. I hope (wonder sometimes) that this is to check my teeth and not for fear I might upset someone. My direct nature and tone though unintentional, rubs some the wrong way. Tho I would be the first to stop and help anyone incl. a stranger change a tire, use my Triple A, or drive them wherever they need to go. Yet my tone doesn't tell people that, yet I don't even hear it. What I do hear is Dr. Bill always surprising me with a joke, as soon as he enters the room. Nearly always taking me by surprise, as he is so intelligent, & with such a dry wit. He further Hums when working on my teeth. Who hums today while working? Few today love their profession, to the point of humming thru same. I do spend a lot on my teeth. I have had to re-do crowns. I have no knowledge of dentistry, so I just trust that he is doing a good job. Yet if 99.9% of his staffs kindness, or his, is any indication, I should not have let one person's bad review, cause me to chime in (without thinking) about the one staff person who intentionally insults me. The remainder of his staff, are giving "20th century Customer Service", in a time when all too often we encounter "Generation Millennials". As far as Dr. Bill is concerned, again, I have no idea about dentistry, yet if his designations, kind joking manner, and humming his work away, is an indication of the person... you cannot do better. So wherever I chimed in after reading another's review without thinking, That's what it was... My "not thinking" & truly appreciating how lucky I am to be tended to by his terrific staff.

Chaotic and Unprofessional!…read more DON'T GO HERE. The place is owned, along with Arch Dental in Northampton, by a certain Dr. Khan. I needed two extractions and two implants. He told me the cost would be $6,600. Before he did the extractions, I told Khan that because I worked for many years in war zones, both pain and the sight of bleeding are PTSD triggers for me. After the extractions, he told me I was done for the day and I could get up. I went to use the bathroom, looked in the mirror and saw my face utterly smeared in blood. He hadn't even bothered to wipe it off. I said to Khan, "Remember I told you..." and he just grunted and walked away. The entire place is chaotic, people running in and out of various rooms, talking very fast. After receiving the anaesthetic I was left to sit for a while, and in walked the assistant who blurted out, "OH! I forgot you were in here." By the time Khan arrived the anaesthetic was wearing off and I had to have another injection. Khan is obviously trying to become a millionaire by age 40 but he takes no time with his own personal care - his ears were full of white soap residue that he forgot to rinse out, his hair was full of dandruff. The treatment chairs have holes in them. The drawers have the front piece off. More than once during my procedures, they stopped and ran around the place looking for an instrument or a material that they had forgotten to provide in advance. The bone grafts he did, did not "take". He inserted the screws and it was incredibly painful. I was howling in pain. At that point most dentists would say, "I'm sorry it hurts," right? Not Khan - he said, "It's not supposed to hurt!" as if I were faking my pain! He ripped out one implant screw covered in gore, showed it to me, and said, "You are the ONLY ONE who has this problem! It's because you smoke cannabis!" (I have a prescription and do smoke moderately.) I asked some of my friends and co-workers, and actually implant rejection is not all that uncommon.| He then said he would do bridges instead, and shunted me off to a newly hired female dentist who seemed like she was high on something. She at one point prepared to drill on the left side of my mouth, completely forgetting that she hadn't bothered to administer the anaesthetic yet! She insisted she had and pointed to a previously used needle on the tray. It took some convincing to make that lady understand that she had used that needle on the other side of my mouth. EDIT - I forgot to mention that when I was taken into the X-ray cubicle, the informational screen had the images and patient record OF ANOTHER PATIENT. I stood there reading it in front of the technician and she didn't even notice, until I said, "I should not know that Mrs. So-and-So has two implants in the front of her mouth!" The billing department is likewise incompetent and couldn't even give me a balance owed. When my procedures were finally finished, I told them very frankly that I was displeased with my care and wouldn't be coming back. The hygenist answered me snottily, "Well you are certainly free to go somewhere else!" I sure will. And you should to.
