Lots of interesting dry goods, much of it local and/or Amish. And, of course, their famous canned meats. Turkey, chicken, pork, beef. Low salt versions. Big cans and little ones. They'll last for years, so stock some in the cupboard, or your tornado box, or your bomb shelter. They'll can your meat, too (deer, etc.) Friendly service. Prices are pretty high, but it's quality stuff, and a lot of it you won't find anywhere else. I saw pickled quail eggs; never seen those before. Huge gummi butterflies that Baby K loves. With the fresh food, grocery, and bulk food options, easy to stock up on things, and they also have a large clothing section. When you complain, they say shop elsewhere or downright ask you to leave. Please be cognizant as a LOT of people are getting ripped off, unknowingly. Please consider sharing your findings with the BBB, Ohio Weights & Measures, the Federal Trade Commission, and the Ohio Attorney General. Kroger, as a near monopoly, has a duty and obligation to provide honest and fair pricing practices. They are knowingly and willingly doing the opposite of this. The burden of having to audit receipts, to this degree, should NOT be required on there consumers part. This issue is well known and has even been brought to light by investigative reporting from Consumer Reports in conjunction with The Fern.

I call in, get someone in customer care who does a 3-way to the store pickup center. Associate at the store there tells me and the customer care representative that there's no delay, my order's BEEN READY since BEFORE the pickup time and I should just come get it now. So I go and get it. Still to this day, over a WEEK later, I do not have notice of that order being ready nor do I have the eReceipt I always get when I purchase from the "normal" store I use. I sent an email to the store management to let them know of my experience and I get a reply back saying if I have a problem to contact customer service. Ummm... Seriously?? Definitely will NOT be using this particular store for my pickup orders again. Yes, there's a limited selection, but the staff will do what they can to help; there's also a pretty awesome meat counter and bakery, and greenhouse/landscaping supplies. This is always the first place I go when venturing out in Putnam County-have to support the local business if you want it there. The quality of their meet and baked goods is top notch and all the high school kids that work there are usually pretty helpful too.
