I think it's great they have this dessert spot in Findlay. I liked the chocolate and ice cream here. The black raspberry chocolate chunk and the strawberry cheesecake ice cream were good. Everyone was friendly and helpful too. read more

BEST ICE CREAM IN THE WORLD!!!!! Amazing service with huge scoops of ice cream. HIGHLY recommended if you are ever in Findlay.

the strawberry shortcake milk shake was the best d*** thing ever but the chocolate shake tasted like s*** the service was very exeptional. The vibe was good and it was kind of 80s ish read more

Always dependable service! Best ice cream for my money (although I miss $1.75 banana splits....circa 1975) Both stores are well laid out with adequate seating most of the time. I go to the downtown store for nostalgic reasons. The Tiffin Ave. store is very convenient to the shopping mall area. Friendly store clerks provide prompt service and consistently good food service. read more

The best of the best. Ice cream, candies, and clever gift ideas. Lemon custard. Mint chocolate chip. Raspberry. Yum. read more

Have I seriously never reviewed Dietsch Brothers!? Shame on me! Every time we drive past Findlay we stop for ice cream at this fantastic ice cream parlor. They have many flavors to choose from, and if you can't find one you like, you just don't like ice cream. I've never had a flavor I disliked, but favorites are the seasonal peach they have in summer, and old standards like butter pecan, pralines and cream, orange pineapple, cookie dough and more. Last time we stopped by, I decided to splurge and bought chocolates for my girls, our neighbors, and for my husband and I. Their chocolates are incredible! I will have to buy chocolates AND ice cream every time we stop here from now on. Do yourself a favor and stop by for one or more flavors at Dietsch Brothers! read more

So delicious and they have everything, even sugar free that's delicious. It is so nostalgic and they offer so many cute gift ideas in candies and other gift options. Absolutely the best ice cream and candy store in Ohio, just two minutes off I-75. Nice, clean comfortable spot. Dine in or carry out. We never leave without at least a couple bags of candy. My dentist even loves the place. You will too. read more

Amazing! This is probably the best ice cream I have ever tasted. I drove from New York to Ohio to visit my sister and her family but made sure this was the first place we stopped at and the last place. The sundae is my go to Everytime I come and I don't share!!! read more

Dietsch Brothers - Ice cream in a take out container who can ask for anything better!!! - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Findlay, Ohio

I honestly don't know where the candy went. Was I in sugar-toxication? Do I need to check myself in as a choco-holic? I hope to commit carbocide here again as this is some authentic ice cream that hit different from your top brand store bought, and I literally Hoover-ed up the rest. If you're in the area or driving by, it's beyond worth the stop. read more

Dietsch Brothers - Even the bathroom was amazing. Great vibe. - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Findlay, Ohio

Nothing more nostalgic than a visit to this local ice cream and chocolate shop. Their chocolate covered pretzels are legendary.

Meh. The employees seemed hurried and curt. The store ornaments and home decor goods were pricey yet seemed like items purchased through Alibaba. The ice cream was certainly above average, but the "no samples" policy left this out-of-towner feeling like Findlay wasn't the friendliest place. read more

My first visit... yummy chocolate and ice cream. The staff was friendly and helpful. Looking forward to returning.

Highly recommend. The absolute best chocolates only to be outdone by their customer service and speedy shipping. 10/10

Always amazing folcal point to out visitit to town. Best ice cream in America in my book

This is the best ice cream that I have ever had in my 57 years on this earth. This is a destination place. You need to make the pilgrimage here!!! read more

Amazing icecream and really cool looking store with amazing size portions:) definitely would recommend

You definitely get what you pay for here. The prices are higher than than department stores but it's well worth it. The chocolate covered pretzels are amazing and so are the caramels. I also got their strawberry cheese cake ice cream and my wife tried the peach. Both were out of this world. This will definitely be a stop every time I'm in Findlay. read more

Great chocolates Great ice cream and the employees are very friendly and professional. What's funny is when we fly somewhere we have a "food bag", it is always a Dietsch bag We get comments no matter where we are read more

I love ice cream. It's my weakness. I heard that this was the ice cream place to go in Findlay and I'll have to say that it was good but nothing too exciting for me. I was disappointed that I could not sample the ice cream so I just ordered 2 different kinds that sounded good to me. I loved the Irish Cream, but the Toffee Caramel Crunch was a little disappointing. I expected the crunch to come from the toffee but instead it was from almonds. I like nuts, but I really don't enjoy them in my ice cream. I guess it's my fault for not asking what was in but if I could have tried a free sample, I probably would have made a different choice. I really can't say that I have any complaints otherwise about the place. The price was reasonable and they had a great selection of flavors. I probably need to go back a few more times to be completely fair but it really just seemed average to me. read more

Always have great ice cream, great candy, and most importantly great service. I think they have the best ice cream for low prices. read more

Dietsch Brothers - Boxed chocolate - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Findlay, Ohio

Ice Cream is good but I don't think I am driving two hours to get it here. I ordered Cookie Dough and was pleased with it. It was creamy but not super creamy. I would frequent this joint if it was in Columbus but Columbus has a few better ice cream places than this. A couple of things they could do to improve in my view- Make their own waffle cones, make their own cookie for the cookie sandwiches. and let me test a few flavors before deciding. They do not allow people to have a sample. I was trying to decide between something new or an ice cream mainstay in Chocolate. no taste test to sway my opinion. I understand that giving out free samples can get expensive especially when you know the person is trying different kinds but I was a first timer. The chocolate store beside them is pretty cool as they have a lot of sugar free options. They also have a few sugar free ice cream options. I am planning to try the main store soon. In Findlay, I would maybe give this a 5 but the few negatives kept me from doing it. A good place to get a candy gift for someone or buy a 68 pound chocolate bunny. If you are buying easter gifts then get here early because by 2 they were out of chocolate peanut butter eggs. read more

Great service, wide variety of ice cream flavors (seasonal and old standbys). Their candy is simply out of this world. Chocolate covered pretzels are great regardless of what type of chocolate they are covered in (milk, dark, or white). The individual cream type candies have a letter on them (in chocolate) so you know if it's maple (m), etc...which is a cool insider knowledge thing. :). I like that they have boxes of candy pre-wrapped in attractive paper choices for quick grab and go convenience. Their Christmas (and any other holiday) candy comes in very cool molds and shapes. You can find something unique and individual for the person you are shopping for. read more

In Findlay for a business meeting - Suggested by colleagues to visit: My associates and I ordered the following: Strawberry milk shake - Really good!! Salted caramel ice cream - Delicious!! Lemon Custard ice cream - unique, light, and tasty. (I ordered the kid's size, which is more than enough for one person!) Really popular place! Even the water dispenser is cool. read more

Wow ice cream is delicious. Better than cold stone, better than handels, better than bask in Robbins. Large selection of flavors, large selection of combinations. Great ice cream read more

I don't particularly find chocolate covered pretzels to be anything special, but I know that is what everyone raves about here. Their chocolate is very good, a smooth taste and not too rich which does make for a solid chocolate covered pretzel which I will get every once in awhile, but not often. The ice cream however is spot on. The prices are very reasonable and many flavors to choose from makes for a great selection. The ice cream is creamy and has a lot of flavor which I particularly like about it. If you are a fan of the chocolate pretzels and like ice cream, then I obviously suggest you go with the chocolate pretzel ice cream to get the full experience. read more

What's to say that has not already been said about this place. It has really good ice cream with consistent good quality. Everyone raves about their ice cream and it is good but they really have some of the best chocolate anywhere. read more

"Rich and Dense" might not be what you want for your sister's new husband, but it is exactly what you want for your ice cream. Most ice cream these days is whipped full of air and melts into a foamy mess. Dietsch's ice cream is solid and melts like frosting. It is made with all the good stuff like cherries, nuts, and candy, but they leave the air outside. Bottom Line: If for some reason Dietsch's is not open when you want ice cream, go someplace else and have something else. Just don't even bother with ice cream unless it is from Dietsch's. Because if you want ice cream in Findlay, the only choice is Dietsch's. read more

A big selection of amazing ice cream and candies/chocolate !! Probably the best place in town for those kinda of things.

Great scooped ice cream. Clean and friendly. I'm not a big fan of soft serve so I was excited about this place. They have a large selection of chocolate that I hear is amazing but haven't tried it yet. Next time since we will be going back again. I highly recommend it. read more
