I came to Ocala from Chicago with a high standard for daycare, training, and boarding needs for my…read morepup. After visiting multiple facilities and even a few individuals to do "meet & greets", we were thrilled to find the best option for all three needs was with the same team - Procyon. This review is focused specifically on the day training program. Mimi attends DAY TRAINING 2x/week. What has she learned? To SIT and WAIT at the door when it's opened instead of charging through it (picture spilling soda on yourself, the leash slipping out of your hand, her running all the way to the street) - she usually even sits without me asking. To sit in the backseat of the car in her carseat. When I brought her to Procyon she wouldn't ride anywhere but my lap - even when I was driving (yea, I know - not safe). If I tried to use the carseat, she would cry the entire time and jump out of the chair. HEEL - her heel when we walk is much improved - she used to pull like a sled dog! She's more comfortable around strangers from field trips they take. PLACE - critical for us when the doorbell rings. (We're still working on doorbell manners!) She's got a solid "high five!" too, which we use often with strangers because she prefers it to them petting her. It's been a great experience thus far, as have the boarding and daycare. I highly recommend Procyon. PS - Mimi is famous for her "resting sad face"!

I rescued Moo in Nov of 2020 and she was a mess, She was abused, on the run, didnt trust humans and could barely relax enough to sleep. I was reccomended Gian through a friend and he was an answer from god! She went to him for 2 weeks and DIDNT WANT TO COME HOME to me- she loved him and was so happy to make him proud. He brought her back to me and trained me on how to care for my new dog. I would recommend him again and again and many of my friends have also sent their animals to him. This PetSmart grooming location (Hwy 200 @ I75 in Ocala) is a hard no for me…read more When I dropped off my dog for its grooming appointment, I was advised "we usually need 4-5 hours for a grooming, not the 3 the website estimates". I returned to the grooming salon 4 1/2 hrs later and was advised my dog was bathed and dry but hadn't been groomed. Decided I wasn't going to subject my dog to who knows how much longer (no idea when the groomer was going to finish the dog they were currently grooming no how long they'd take on my pet). The store and grooming salon were untidy compared to other PetSmart locations near The Villages, Fl.

Then I decided on this on off of 200. Once Amanda left Isabella didn't care about going there anymore. Her tail didn't wag and she just wasn't excited. First sign the place turned into the Doggy DMV. Thursday the 16th my appointment was messed up so I had to give her a bath myself which is hard on my back that's why she is groomed every 3 weeks like clock work. So on Tuesday I made her appointment for 10am. There were 4 doggies scheduled at 10am that made me call them the Doggy DMV. Next Isabella dropped off at 10am picked up 3pm. Oh heck no. We are done with PetSmart. Plus her ears were cut too short and I'm just no longer happy with the service. I believe the new manager is Autumn and it's not the same. Isabella pees a lot and Autumn did recommend these doggy cranberry treats which I went home and ordered from Chewy. They work when we go out of town and at home. I just don't like the vibe there anymore and neither does my Isabella. Plus the price increased which I don't mind but it's not worth the aggravation of my Isabella being stressed out when she leaves. Never again. Looking for a new groomer. I got 3 weeks to look for one because Isabella is not missing her spa days and she WILL NOT be returning to PetSmart. App is now deleted from my iPhone.

Review, K9 Lifesaver Guy Beyond wonderful and a lifesaver…read more I cannot even put into words how much he helped me. I had taken in an abandoned dog, a pitbull mix, who was young but adult size and 56 pounds. He was not fixed so had scheduled him for neutering, but it would take some time. It was fine, I could not spend time with him because he was attracted to my leg, to take him out in the backyard was off could do. He was well behaved. However, the backyard neighbors have been away with their dogs in the head come back on a Saturday. Starting Saturday night, after being in the backyard when the other dogs were backyard, he started really hyper. And Sunday he just won't be berserk, he somehow got out of a closed door room, he had scratched the door had put a hole in the wall. He chased after my cats, and he was going on the tables and I just couldn't control him. I called different places, thinking I had to get rid of them right away for my cats. It was a Sunday night so I had no luck. Until I called North Florida K9 Behavior Center and luckily, he answered the phone. He was a godsend. He calmed me down because I was hysterical. Gave me great information about neutering and what to expect after you neuters. He also gave me a lot of great psychological canine behavior, tips and information explain so much he helped me get a plan together, which I was too hysterical otherwise to have done without him. It set a plan to put Teddy in the garage with the cage, and to keep him away from the cats, meaning I would take him directly from the garage, the backyard and not to the house. he called me down enough to realize that the neutering process would help a lot, and that it was OK to keep him in the garage for now for his safety safety of my cats and my sanity. I literally don't know what I would have done without him. Teddy is still waiting neutering so after Teddy has that procedure, and finishes his vaccine boosters, our plan to call him again. You can't go wrong with a person who's so understanding, so calm, know so much about any more behavior and psychology, someone who takes the time out of their off time to help deal with a hysterical person, which she did not have to do. I highly recommend his services.

In fact, it's the worst grooming they've ever received, and we've had them groomed in three states. Their hair was just chopped off, and it's not growing out well, either. We loved their location and the ease of scheduling an appointment, but the quality just isn't there. UPDATE: I'm upgrading our review from one star to five for good customer service after a bad review. We got a phone call from Bubbles n Biscuits asking for another chance at no charge. They booked us with their master groomer, Heather, who did a wonderful job on our two yorkies. They can tell the difference, too, because they're both showing off their new haircuts. We rebooked for next month -- with Heather, of course.
