Each day he pauses and allows several older couples out walking to pet him and just say hi. He senses people in a way that is only "bred" in a dog. We purchased a dog from K-9 Specialists a little over a month ago and we could not be happier. We had been searching for a working line female for quite some time and had had interactions over the phone with Peter in the past and he was always willing to answer any questions we had and was more than helpful. We did not end up purchasing a dog at that time but several months later we came across a working line female named Abraxas (Abby) that Peter was advertising for sale. After watching videos of Peter working Abby we contacted him once again with lots of questions that he answered very honestly and thoroughly. I got a German Shepherd in late January and had a list of questions so I looked up K-9 training online and K-9 Specialist was the first to pop up so I gave them a call. I spoke with Libor and he stayed on the phone for more than half an hour answering my questions. He not only gave me tips and tricks but taught me how to approach my pup in a number of situations. He has a wealth of knowledge and explained step by step how to reduce problem behaviors and encourage positive behaviors. Since COVID-19 has many places in a quarantine state, I am unable to take my dog to his puppy training classes and have accumulated more questions. Again, I called Libor and asked him. He stayed on the phone with me for another half an hour or more coaching me how to be a better dog owner and what I can do to help my pup. I called Libor at K-9 Specialists and graciously spent a lot time speaking with me about potential German Shepherds he had that would be a good fit for our family. He is one of the most knowledgeable dog trainers/people I have ever met. After viewing videos of the German Shepherds he had for sale, both he and I agreed Hali was the best choice. K-9 Specialists are amazing people,we took our German shepherd puppy to them for obedience training ,he stayed with them for 4 weeks and really came back home so much better , his issue was not liking anyone that he saw on our walks or if someone came to the house . After the training he's so much better and now it's up to us to keep up the training he worked hard to do . Libor and Petr did such an amazing job and in week 3 and 4 we came a long and observed the way they tought him to react the right way . This was the best decision we could have made . read more
