It's nice to find a place that has actual bands instead of DJs that just play electronic or hip hop…read moremusic. I've seen a lot of really great bands here. If you go outside in the back there's another room with 2 pinball machines ( yay!) , darts and pool tables. Oh and a jukebox. In the main area they also have a gambling machine room which I've never been in. They don't just feature bands, they also have a stand up comedy nights & burlesque shows . The only thing they could improve is the presentation of alcoholic drinks. Get some proper martini glasses . I don't want my dirty vodka martini in a plastic cup or wrong glass. It messes with my costuming, lol! The last time I went my brother and I saw the Reverberators. They were fantastic. I had a draft cider which wasn't super sweet, thank you. And the fish & chips. The fish and chips were very good!

The Sound Lounge is something very special. We saw Supersuckers on a Tuesday night and it was amazing. I've seen sold out shows in LA on a Friday night with less energy than this place had. The sound is amazing. The food is amazing. The atmosphere is amazing. I know, I'm really overusing the word amazing..... If your in town you must stop by. Even if it's just to check out the rock concert poster collection or play pool. Don't skip it, go there.

Grants Pass is a small little town so thank you Vault, for opening. You are definitely filling a…read moreniche as I don't believe you have any other competition. I was told by my cousin that you are the only night club in Grants Pass and seeing as how everyone and yes, their Mothers showed up by 12a, I believe her. Here you have the perfect combination, a three tiered level. One room is perfect for some friends to hang out and have some drinks, relax and sing a little karaoke. Good rotation as far as I heard and saw and a great layout, with a sort of wide L shaped configuration. Although I will say having the doorway to the outside smoking area right next to where the DJ is for karaoke was not planned well. The funky thing was, giving that there was a capacity issue with the person to person ration in the patio area, a line was created of smokers waiting to get to the designated area causing a line to form through the area in which the karaoke singers performed. Awkward. Moving on to tier numero deux we have the "club" aspect. Big dance floor with a stage for the DJ's to mix their jams and U shaped seating with high tables and bar stools throughout. The service was ok, not too shotty but not all that convenient. What I DID NOT like was that they did not serve water freely. They only had bottled water available for the convenient price of $2.50 each and said bottles were the cheap cased bottled water you get at Costco. Foul play Vault, foul play. The bouncers were a little high strung to. DON'T TOUCH THE ROPE! A lesson learned by moi, having done so only to be lectured and humiliated by a tight wound nugget head of a bouncer. I guess they don't get much action in these parts so that can slide. Last but not least, tier 3-the restaurant. I can only thank the gawds/owners that they decided to incorporate this aspect of the business. It is absolute perfection. Just think, a diner attached so that at the end of the night when the club shuts down and you want to take that unsafe drive to Dennys with your friend who is "ok to drive" but are really fearing for your life-you don't have to worry! You can sit your happy buzzed butt right down in a booth, order up some cheese fries, sip on some coffee and reminisce about the faux Jersey Shores Vinny you saw and all the other horrific visions one can only witness in a fabulous, small mountain town. You really made my vacation Vault. Thank you.

They call this place a nightclub?! In my opinion, it's absolutely horrible! As soon as you walk in,…read moreyou get hit with a pungent odor of mold, stale beer, and sweat. The balls on the pool table are all busted and they don't have replacements. The pool cues are garbage. The dance floor looks like it's something from the late 80s LOL. I honestly don't think they ever get more than 30 people in there all night! When I went up to order a drink, I was ignored for almost 10 minutes and there was nobody else at the bar but me. I tried to get her attention, but apparently "she couldn't hear me because of the music." Then, when I actually get my drink, it's made horribly wrong. We will never be back nor will we be recommending this place to anyone. The other half of the bar (the karaoke part) is 20x better than this so called "nightclub".

It definitely gives old saloon vibes with wood paneled walls and tables. it was pretty empty with one tall table on the right side taken a low top on the left and a 4 or 5 people at the bar. The service was friendly but a little on the slow side. It was ok with us as we weren't in any hurry. Hubby had the Taylor Dog with tots, he said it was delicious and we might be taking a little drive to Cave Junction to buy some direct from the makers. I had the french dip and it was probably the best one I've had in years. Plenty of shaved beef which actually tasted like beef and had a smoky taste. The Au Jus was really good also. Our Daughter had the Wally Burger and she said it was also good. Beers were 3.00 a pint on happy hour so you can't ask more than that. We will definitely be going back to try more items from the menu and take advantage of the happy hour.
