The food was great as Applebees always is and I always come for those mozzarella sticks I love. The service I had today was good when I first walked in the hostess sat us right away. It was just our server he was at our table every 3 minutes asking us if we needed anything, I get it wasnt that busy however he was at our table asking about our first few bites before we even got more then one in. He was nice just wish I could have a convo w friends that had less awkward interruptions thats all. All love to this place though the booth was really nice and we were sat w a nice veiw of the weather. Curbside pickup staff was friendly. The 2 cheeseburgers were outstanding. They have a very good new sauce on the cheeseburgers, the fries were crispy and had a great season. Cheese sticks were crispy, cheesy. Will be back again. read more

We regularly eat hear or order delivery. The food is always good, and delicious. The restaurant atmosphere is very nice, and is one of my favorites. I have noticed a few times there is a difference between the delivery app menu and the in restaurant menu, the app menu has some things the other no longer does. Let me start by saying I come to this Applebee's quite religiously and I have never had such a bad experience. It was busy and my friends and I have worked with and around food and understand the difficulties it can hold with wait time and such. It took our waitress probably 10 mins to start our orders. All of us being patient at that point. Later after we recieved our meals our drinks were empty soon after. Let me also mention that when our waitress handed us our food she walked away saying nothing. I had to ask for extra things almost yelling as she walked away. It took about 10 minutes to get the waitresses attention and then 15 minutes to get my drink and ONLY because I had to ASK for it. Not only did I receive my drink 15 minutes later after asking but my friend there with me never got her drink she asked for at the same time as I. I had to ASK AGAIN for her drink that she never got us. She never once checked on us asking if our food was good throughout the meal or if we needed anything. I also ordered and extra set of boneless buffalo wings and received them looking like this...like they've been sitting for so long. Dry and gross looking. Not only that but it took her 13 minutes to come grab our cards after having us the bills and give them back!!! Horrible experience and EXTREMELY dissapointed in this location. I also attached a photo of how empty it was at the end of the night. She had probably one other table who she talked to the whole night and stayed at. Ridiculous. Last night my family and I after some pre October festivities stopped into our traditional after shenanigans spot Applebee's on State Street in Saginaw, MI. This turned out to be a major mistake for our evening! We where seated, 20 min later our waitress shows up takes our drink orders and app orders then leaves. 20 min later our child gets his drink but neither adults have theirs as of yet. About 15 min later a young lady, who is not even our server brings out our appetizers, cold boneless wings swimming in sauces and wonton tacos with meager portions of chicken and two broke shells. Finally 30 min later we get our drinks and now our waitress is complaining it's her daughters birthday and they are making her work. She then proceeds to tell us about the table behind us complaining about the service. So another 20 min goes by and she comes back by and says your food while looking through her ticket book should be coming out, oh wait I haven't even taken your order yet as she laughs. We order our food and another round of drinks determined to believe this is just a hiccup and we will move past this with our entrees. Nope, so about 15 min later refills come and then another 20 min passes and a server not our waitress comes with our food. The first things she says is 2 6 oz. Sirloins, wrong I had an 8 oz and my date had the 6 oz. She says let me go check on that which she walks away and never returns at all about the steak size issue. We realize after she has walked away that my date has no fork or knife, at which point I offer up mine but now I have no way to eat my meal. About 30 min go by and the hostess walks by our table finally, I ask her if I can have some utensils, which she replies ask your server! Another 20 min goes by my food and my dates food are now cold because who came to eat alone right? I finally flag down the server she comes over after being MIA most of the evening and apologizes and says would you like to speak to the manager, yes duh. So the manager comes over and says he will go look into this. He comes back about 10 min later and takes our drinks off the bill, at which point I point out to him my date or myself can't even eat our meals because we have no fork and knife. He shrugs I get a little more vocal about how we have no way to eat the cold hour old food that has been sitting on the table that the waitress nor hostess would bring us so we could eat! He finally comes back to the table with my card and says not to worry about it, he has taken care of it. This is horrible treatment and I will never darken this locations door step again!!! read more

My sandwich was dripping with grease (not very healthy for a club sandwich on "whole-grain bread"), we received someone else's order at first, our server was extremely weird (she spoke slowly, hovered over our table for too long, left awkward silences, and mumbled through gritted teeth when someone at our table didn't order an alcoholic drink). lived about 3 minutes from this applebee's my entire childhood life- and came here numerous times throughout my life. the firecracker shrimp is good, was a bit too greasy, but it tasted alright. service is bland, but worth a good tip. food is the same every time- so if you're looking for a steady, cheap-ish, dependable option- this is for you. read more

Took the family there Saturday night. The food is always great and the service is usually pretty good. I love the 3-cheese chicken penne or the sirloin and shrimp. We go there about once or twice a month. My only complaint is having to wait for a table on a busy night. Their waiting area is small and many times I find myself having to stand, sometimes for 25 minutes or more, which is a long time if you've been working all day. I wish the parking lot was bigger too. This is close to our house, and had become a go-to because the food was always good, and the service quick....well, I think they've had a change of mgmt, the last couple of times the food has been abysmal...tonight we ordered 2 burgers, they were smaller than last time..maybe 4-5 oz., and for a second, I thought maybe my dad had hired on as a grill cook....because they were both burned to a crisp..I had asked for an over easy egg on mine, and the egg was cooked sooo long, it didn't even have a yolk left on it. I don't know if mgmt is incapabable of finding good cooks, or the pay is so bad they can't keep them....really, really awful...Culvers has better burgers. read more

The food is decent but the service at this location sucks!!! The servers are rude and extremely slow. They are too busy talking with each other. They act like you are putting them out when you ask them for something. That is why I go to the one by the mall. Way better service there!!! read more
