good food, very slow service , and the table next to us came earlier than us and got food first.

First time giving a top score. I've been to other locations and posted harshly. But the service this time was upbeat and efficient. The food was hot and flavorful. The wings in buffalo sauce were great. The Mozzarella were the best I've had in recent months. The onion rings were very crisp and tasty. I didn't try its IHOP items. This time. read more

The atmosphere was lively with sports on TV and fans cheering at the bar. The food was okay, though, mainly because they messed up my order. But the waitress was kind enough to give us a discount for the mix-up. The bathroom could have been a bit cleaner. read more

The food here is hit and miss. Sometimes it's really good and other times it's really not. They often forget part of the order. You take your chances with this business. read more

ABSOLUTELY GARBAGE. Ever since they added Ihop the place went down the drain. Drinks were poorly mixed (alc) then proceeded to take 30 minutes to bring us chips and dip. THEN ANOTHER HOUR for or food. We ordered the 2/25 its been there forever cant mess it up. Boy were we wrong. My food was absolutely terrible. the whole plate tasted like BURNT bacon. my breadstick was stale all around 2/10 for my meal. My wifes on the other hand WAS NOT any better. Her burger was dry. Her fries were straight SALT. just an absolutely terrible for food. THEN after receiving our food we were ready to go due to poor service and food. Then a random waitress came to us and said our original waitress has LEFT TO GO HOME WITHOUT LETTING US KNOW AND LETTING US SIT THERE FOR 45 MORE MINUTES AFTER WE GOT OUR FOOD. To make all of this worse this is the place i chose for my 21st birthday dinner and im beyond disappointed. !!!NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY OR TIME. GO TO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! read more

The hosts that seat us was telling us how nice the new floors are easy to clean up going on and on about that then we asked for the waitress bought waters and it looked like there was puke in our glass. Very disappointed. I used to love Applebee's. It was such a bad experience. We just walked out. We didn't even eat. read more

If I could give zero I would just based on service. Our server disappeared two separate times for over fifteen minutes each time. We had to wave down a separate server just to get a drink refilled. Server basically got on her knees to take orders. Was not impressed. read more

Great service! The drinks were amazing and the food came out fast! Loved the cheap margaritas.

Applebee's and IHop are now joined in the same building. We went in and were seated, but no one came to wait on us or bring us water. They did not have a separate menu for Ihop. It was all intermixed with Applebee's food items. The only reason we went was because of the ads on TV showing a half dozen "Everyday value meaks" meals from IHop for $6.00 each. There were none of these on the menu nor displayed on a board, etc., so we walked out. Very poor service read more

We waited 30 mins for food. Waitress never kept us updated; I asked her to check on our order. she came back to let us know they made wrong order. She never asked us if we wanted refills. I had to flag her down . Poor service. Food was over cooked and barely warm. I will not be going back read more

Sad experience today at the ihop/applebees. Firstly ordered the beer cheese and pretzels, cheese was very cold so we asked for a new one and it was still very cold in the center second time around but didn't want to cause a fuss so we just dealt with it. Our server was very kind, very busy so we didn't see much of her but that's not her fault. The place looks kinda all over the place since the remodel but not too loud vibes were okay. Moving on to the meals, I would recommend staying away from their pastas, noodles were a little stiff and chewy, chicken charred way more than it should've been and overall had a not so great flavor, sad to be writing this review as before the remodel I was applebees' biggest fan but it seems as if quality has somehow gotten worse rather than better like everyone said it would be. Don't see myself returning here any time soon, hopefully with time it can only get better, can only go up from here. read more

This Applebees location has really stepped up their game. The service was spot on and I throughly enjoyed my beef brisket tacos. It was basically their signature BBQ sauce poured over tender pulled pork in a soft shell. The hubby opted for the oriental salad which was HUGE! Fresh and he said delicious. This paired with soda and iced tea. Great meal for under $30 read more

Yay, Applebee's in Fort Gratiot now! Not sure how long it's been there, but I hadn't been home for a while. We were there on a Sunday evening and it was pretty busy. We were greeted and seated right away, given menus and our drink orders were taken. When our drinks were brought to the table, the server was ready for our orders. I opted for the French onion soup (my fav) and a small salad. One person in our party had a chicken sandwich and the other person had one of Applebee's signature salads. Food came out pretty quick and was very tasty...everyone enjoyed their meal. Good service. read more

5 STARS The food was great as always but the service we received from Emma B. was superb. Thanks Emma for making our meal special. read more

Honestly this is probably one of the best Applebee's I have been to. Waitress made sure my friend and I had refills and enough napkins. Place was really busy for a Friday night but we were able to get a nice booth before the late dinner rush hit. Bar manager even walked around making sure everyone was taken care of. Prices are a little steep though. The Spinach and Artichoke hoovers around $9 and the portion is pretty tiny. We ran out of chips and still had dip left. The waitress told us if we wanted more chips we would have to buy another Spinach and Artichoke dip. We'll be back again but next time we'll just be cautious of what we order. read more

Great service and the meal was surprisingly good, i am always hesitant about chain restaurants. If you go here use your Yelp to get a free appetizer with a purchase of a drink. We had the pretzels with a nice mustard and blue moon beer cheese. They were good but if it wasn't for being free i would never pay $8.00 for 4 sticks. My wife enjoyed her dish and me the picky meat guy enjoyed his burger with my addition of A1 sauce on it. Now time to go enjoy Port Huron, yes Port Huron Happy 4th everyone! read more

The food isn't too bad and the ambience is great. Every time I've been there, it's usually packed so they're doing something right! I have been to a couple of locations within Michigan and a couple in Pennsylvania and they've all been good to me. read more

We stopped in today after cleaning our beach house. It was my kids treat for helping out. This was a typical Applebee's. It was clean and the food was average. I ordered one of my favorites fiesta lime chicken. My kids ordered appetizers. I love the tangy sauce on the fiesta lime chicken. This has been one of my favorites probably close to twenty years. The portions have become smaller but I'm okay with that because this dish is like 1100 calories. The chicken is not fresh chicken. This dish would be amazing if it was fresh chicken. I think it's fused. We had a pleasant experience with a nice attentive waitress. I would definitely visit this location again. read more

This is the worse food in town. There appeared to be a rubber band in one chicken tender. this was once a favorite spot in town, but the quality has changed. A tv dinner would been an up-grade. We waited for a pick up order 30 minutes over our stated time without any business in the restaurant. Where are these other reviewers eating??? read more

I honestly used to hate going to Applebees, but my nephew wanted to come here for his birthday which was earlier. So we went and I was surprised how friendly and respectful the wait staff was when they greeted us. Tina Marie was our server and she was absolutely fabulous and even sung a little for my nephew which I thought was awesome. Now I can't wait to go back there and the food was delicious. Thank you again for the way better experience. read more

Goood food & service. Always come here for the drinks, appetizers,& food. Our place to go when on vacation

I came to this place and my whole table ordered a whole bunch of food. The food came and the food was perfectly fine. The service was pretty slow though. One of those meals was a kids meal. the food was good. The yogurt is all completely different story so turns out that yogurt was chunky and had yellow bit in it, It was clearly expired so I brought the waiter over and got her attention about it immediately she says let me go get a different one. Let me get a different one so I was like OK. She brings out the second one not only is it two times smaller than the last yogurt with strawberries but the yogurt looked still expired if not worse, and we had to get her attention again to only be gaslighted"that's how Greek yogurt is supposed to look like it's just plain Greek yogurt Greek yogurt is very chunky "in her exact words so we got a one dollar discount off the yogurt and the manager comes out to gaslight us more basically saying oh I'm sorry about that. I'll talk to the kitchen about that. It doesn't really look expired like you serious? I know what the fuck yogurt looks like. Is your yogurt chunky and has yellow little parts in it. no! I don't think so. read more

Love this place, best food and bar in town. Great staff very friendly and accommodating

First thought walking in was positive as they were not overly busy so we didn't have to wait. Our drink orders were taken immediately as we waited for our server. Few minutes later or server introduced herself as Miranda. Sweet and courteous. Our appetizers came out about 15 minutes later. They were hot and delicious! The pretzel breadsticks are a whole new level of awesomeness!! I can't get those off my mind! Anyway, my entree was the Parmesan steak and shrimp. The sauce was amazing with the shrimp and steak. The steak was supposed to be a mid rare sirloin but was a ribeye instead and overcooked. I don't cause scenes so I just mentioned it to the server and she made it right with a nice discount on my meal. No not free.....in case you were wondering. I would go back when in town. read more

Always loved Applebee's. Food is great but our server was DISHONEST. You have a promotion where if not shown and offered these specialty drinks, by your server, you got a free appetizer. Ugh every time I've gone here the food is a waste of money. My boyfriend never lets me say anything if it's bad but last time we went will be the last time. We had a rather unique experience coming in yesterday. As we walked in, a drunk man was threatening customers and was very belligerent, claiming racism and taking his shirt off to try and fight another patron and the sheriff department was called. Once that settled, we were seated, and things went fine. My wife and I ordered the 2 for $26 option (she had steak and I had ribs). Our daughter had a classic cheeseburger. The food was fine. In fact, I had too much so lunch for today considering the meal comes with an appetizer (we ordered boneless wings for our appetizer). My wife enjoyed her pink beach tea and I my unsweetened iced tea. Ila (might be misspelling her name) was great coming off of an awkward moment with drunk guy, and was good with my daughter who, with autism, makes some comments that often throw people off. Wasn't expecting dinner and a show, but life is full of surprises. I would say if the man was served a drink there, he shouldn't have been as he was clearly intoxicated and should've been denied and I did hear the manager say he threw a drink. However, this happened when we came in and she did call law enforcement who promptly showed up so if he was denied because of his intoxication, kudos. Good food and service, but with the loud crowd at the bar, it's a place I only frequent occasionally and would likely just make it a date night with my wife and not with my children. read more

I'm not giving five stars for the less quantity of food and higher price. read more

Sat at the bar for dinner tonight. Had a front row seat to the belligerent drunk across the bar telling the world to suck his dick. Through his slurred words. The ribeye had a tough leather outside & the lettuce on my wife's burger was gray. The bartender was a really nice guy & fast. You could tell he was embarrassed. Is what it is. read more
