Whatever you, don't come here in the evening, the night staff refuse to do their jobs and create an unbearable experience. Basically, no matter what day of the week it is, no matter how busy it actually is, if you come here at dinner time, expect to wait, a very, very, long time. They will straight up lie to your face and say every table is taken and you can literally see tons of tables vacant, and nobody goes to those tables, and yes, it was like this before COVID. They will tell you it will be 40 minutes or something around there, but the actual wait is always over two hours. They will just refuse to seat people, and you basically have to argue with the staff for them to ever let you actually in. Its completely absurd and is not the way to run a business. That said, I actually do quite enjoy the food here, its such a shame its ran like garbage as we would come here often if it ran like every other restaurant in the area. If you come before the night crew is on you can sometimes have a pretty normal (and pleasant) experience, but they've lost our business, we don't go here anymore. Yes I went to Applebee's couple weeks ago. That was the worst Applebee's I ever been to. The server was very nice but the food was trash. They have something called four cheese macaroni and cheese. I was so excited to try it. It taste like straight water. There was no cheese to be found. I asked my server where is the cheese? What four cheeses is in this pasta? He said well it's not cheese but it's a cheese sauce that comes in a can. Even if it did come in a can they added water to it. It was terrible. It had some honey fried chicken on top that was pretty decent so I just ate that. I said can you at least bring me some shredded cheese to put on top. Why did they bring me some Parmesan cheese? Who put Parmesan cheese on macaroni and cheese? That's gross! However I do love some Parmesan on Caesar salad not no damn Macaroni and cheese. He said that's the only kind of cheese we have. I said well this four cheese dish need to be taken off the menu today. I gave two stars for the server being nice and the drinks. he offered for me to pick another meal but I don't like sending my food back. I appreciate them offering an affordable option, because happy hour used to be super cheap but now you only save a couple of bucks which is not worth it. There's a 45 minute wait because the ONE Waitress working can only service 4 tables! There's no guarantee that your food will be served hot & others at your table may not receive their food for another 10-15 minutes after your cold food has been served. My spouse and I always like to come here after work bc we get off work pretty late and they have lots of good options and specials plus we love the vibe and the service WAS good, the food was good as well. Now, I get that when it's packed servers are busy but this is the 2nd time that this has happened to us and we will not be coming back. The first time, this Asian girl (maybe in her 20's) acknowledged us multiple occasions but did not greet or sit us, there were many booths and tables available. When she She finally decided she wanted to seat us, she didn't ask what we preferred so we had to ask another employee if we could have a booth.She went to the table where the menus are with 2 other employees to drink her beverage she didnt engage with us at all throughout the seating etc. so the energy was uncomfortable. We had a Hispanic lady (late 30's-40s) we loved her service she's a hard worker and we appreciate her so much. Today (3/22/23) around 10:40pm, we waited to be seated for a while, the same Asian girl acknowledged us TWICE and decided to help a door dasher that came after us and continued to walk away and decided to buss a table (pick up cups etc) and again there were plenty of booths and tables available, we left. Really disappointed bc like I said we really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. 1st time and this specific location and what stood out to me the most was the service from our server. I forgot to ask for his name but he's a Hispanic Male that wears glasses. He would continuously come up to our table to ask us how we were doing and if we needed any refills on our water/drinks or just anything in general. He made this experience very pleasant. In terms of environment, It was pretty busy when we came in and the table next to us was a big party and we're pretty loud but didn't take away from our enjoyment at all. In terms of food, I would rate it a 9/10. The pasta was very delicious and milky while the bourbon chicken had a very pleasant taste to it which we enjoyed. Our appetizers were also really good and I even liked dipping the mozzarella sticks into the spinach dip to add another flavor. Now for the drinks. The Passion On the Beach was a solid 7.5/10 because although it was good, it seemed to have a big taste of syrup to it. The Captain Bahama mama was a 6./10 again due to the fact of the big syrupy taste and the overall flavor wasn't the best. HORRIBLE service !!!! Went there with my family today because my 7 year old kid was actually craving their Cheeto Wings for his Birthday. We got seated right away and stayed in the table for 30 minutes without even being acknowledged. I asked the person in the front to please send someone to come take our order and nothing. Hours, food and service were all great. We caught a late evening meal here and personally, surprised at how full the parking lot was. Good sign. Inside, the interior is well lit, not anywhere near romantic. This had more of a feeling of a Sports Bar with the plentiful large flat screen TV's placed at least one on every wall. There is exterior seating that is slightly away from the bar scene, but you're still within eye shot. And the noise. Geez, turn that music down, please. My husband and I were sitting next to each other, we don't have hearing problems and we were talking LOUD to get over the music. Well, at that point it's just noise. So if you're looking for fun with friends, nothing intimate or even slightly romantic, this is your place. Now the service and food. Again, both were great. Our waitress, Hailey, was quick to introduce herself and get us started with a drink. She gave us just the right amount of time to make a selection and she even checked in to let us know our food would be out any minute. I appreciated that because I was just beginning to wonder. I ordered the Chicken Tortilla Soup and a house salad. The soup, probably 1 1/2 cups worth, was very tasty with lots of chicken chunks. Great broth and at the perfect temp to eat right away. The house salad was a little boring with just a run of the mill salad mix, some chopped small cucumber squares and cheddar and I think Monetary Jack shreds on top. The croutons were more like normal bread slice thickness, still, well seasoned and a nice accompaniment. I would have liked some tomato slices or other fresh veggies. That would have added to the flavor and nutritional value but also made it look nicer, too. My husband ordered the Bourbon Street chicken and shrimp plate. It comes out on a sizzling platter that goes smokey if you don't do something about that pat of butter they put on there. It's a good idea though because how else are you suppose to know that plate is that hot? I tried a shrimp and it was very flavorful. We were hoping for a little more spice, being a Cajun dish, but it was good all the same. My husband was happy with both the chicken and shrimp and the roasted potatoes as well. Listen, you don't come to Applebee's for quality food, so don't expect a gourmet meal. The husband and I came on a Friday evening to watch game 1 of the nba finals, grab a drink, and a bite to eat with hopefully a good crowd. We sat at the bar so no wait, which was great. The bartenders was friendly and attentive as I wanted him to. We got the 2x$27 deal, shared mozzarella sticks, then had the ribs with 2 sides: mac n cheese and the garlic green beans, and a western burger and fries. The burger was decent, the fries ok, the ribs were pretty good but the green beans were not garlicky at all and tasted worse than my elementary school lunch, the Macs cheese was barely melted. My husband was happy with his beers, ribs, ambiance and the friendly service. I can't be too disappointed in the food bc who can beat those prices?! You get what you pay for. I feel good supporting my local Applebee's and giving it a chance, but we will most likely explore other options to go watch sports to get a better meal. read more

Ordered Applebee's from DoorDash and I have to say that the service from Applebee's is worse when it's with a delivery service. The door dasher waited about 1 hr for my food and having to reorder it because they missed the order or messed up on the order. When it was finally delivered, the food was cold and items were missing. My dasher said he checked with the staff member and they assured him everything I ordered was in the bag. The salad was wilted and had dirt in it. Thank goodness DoorDash credit me some money back because I tried to call Applebee's to complain and they just hung up on me twice. I will never order from there again. They should just close their doors. The quality of food and service has definitely declined. Awful to see dirt on my food. Never again.
