This is a segregated establishment. I remember coming to this location and being refused service for being in traditional Asian clothing. I figured that level of racism was just because I was in Mississippi. I just got back on the road because I didn't feel welcomed there. I found out recently that a racist manager (they clearly made a point to not promote any black or brown people) called police on an EMPLOYEE for showing up to late work EARLY. Imagine showing up to your job and and getting "trespassed" off because you showed up on time. They allowed entry to a white employee, but not the black employee. read more

I just came from having dinner from there with my family. I had one of the worst experiences I ever had in a restaurant. We got there at 7:00pm and they served the food at 9:00pm, so we couldn't even eat in there. The servers were very rude to us. She laughed to our Hispanic accent. She left dirty plates on the table for one hour. When we asked what was happening, she laughed at us and she didn't even came back to help us with our payment. Use to eat here weekly and not sure what has happened, but it is truly not what it was. I normally get the salmon with broccoli, and tonight, the salmon looked like it was a filet that was cut in half, and the broccoli was mush.. Of course, the price didn't change to reflect the smallest portion. Spouse got the all you can eat riblets and with fries and got 2 little ribs, and then when ordered more and got two little pieces. Stopped in for a lunch meeting on a Wednesday. We were seated right away and ordered pretty quickly. The waitress was nice but kept using the fact that she had only been working there for a month as an excuse for the errors that were made. My colleagues chicken fajita came out without the queso that was in the picture. The other person we were with ordered the brisket nachos and got beef instead of brisket. I ordered the pick two appetizer and asked what was on the quesadilla when I ordered it as I don't like pico...I was told chicken and cheese and it came out filled with chicken, cheese and pico. Stopped on the way home from visiting family in Picayune. They accommodated my husband's wheelchair very well. There weren't that many people there when we got there so we were able to have decent service. The food was wonderful but our server was a little behind on keeping up with refills. One adult with a four and five year old. We were seated right away. Waited a while for our waiter (Kobe) to come to our table. He finally showed up and apologized for the delay. After ordering and receiving our drinks, we ordered our meals. One kid got a corn dog, the other got a kids cheese pizza. I'm on a diet so I opted for a bunless burger with a side of broccoli. Instead of the "classic bacon cheeseburger" I opted for the "new neighborhood double burger" because it was two 3.5oz patties, which was closest to the 6 oz of protein that I'm allowed. I asked for the "butter Mayo" on the side. When the food came the kids meals were fine. I unfortunately wasn't so lucky. The "butter Mayo was in fact on the burger. Not a huge deal because I was able to scrape it off of the SILVER DOLLAR SIZED PATTY. Yes! The patties were MAYBE the size of a slider patty. When I asked if they were supposed to be 3.5 oz each and those surely was not, Kobe literally threw his hands in the air and said that's what they were and there was nothing he could do about it. He then asked if I wanted to see the manager. I said sure. The manager comes to the table, basically just looks at me. I questioned the size and he said they are 3.5 oz before cooking. He didn't seem to care one bit that those pitiful little patties on that burger looked nothing like the burger showed on the menu. They tasted pretty good but we're gone in the blink of an eye. Beware! You are not getting anywhere near 7oz of burger. If I was eating bread, I would've gotten a single burger. I just needed a little more protein. Next time I'll know. Kobe would've gotten a much better tip had he advised me in advance or either of them had acknowledged or even cared that those patties were not even close to what they're implying. Well. First of all, our waiter was not happy for us to be there, especially when we ordered only an appetizer and two entrees for our small family ( plus my kids were not hungry at all). She was unhappy and asked in an annoyed tone "is that all?" I said yes. Well the food I ate was bland and the only thing I enjoyed was the buffalo wings. I've visited this location a few times, appears the Management is good. Service can be slow, but food is typically cooked well.

The only time the service is good at this Applebees is when Nick is waiting on you! I was there Friday 1 March, after 7 minutes asked a waitress who was our waiter? She came back and said, I guess it's me, because "they" didn't know the guy who was supposed to be out here, wasn't here yet. She took drink orders. Finally someone brought them, we saw our waitress working in another area of the restaurant far from us, she was hustling but we were not near her other tables. None of the problems we had were her fault...we actually knew her and understand that because she asked about who our waitress was she got picked to wait on us. When the food came it was COLD, but we ate it, not wanting to get our waitress in trouble even though She did not bring our food. One person ordered a salad, and asked for it to come before the main food, that did not happen. The same thing happened about a week ago when I went there for dinner. It's sad but I see why they are closing restaurants. The managers need to go to Texas Road House in Slidell, LA and see what customer service looks like. My oriental salad was great! The French onion soup had too much seasoning and my bread was too hard to eat even with letting it soak. Me and my boyfriend go here all the time and the service has never been this bad. We got there and at first all was well. We ordered our drinks then our food , although it didn't take to longer for our server to greet us it definitely took longer then normal. We were okay with that, we understand it was busy. We ordered our appetizer with drinks, when the server (Joey) came back to take our order my boyfriend asked he had out the appetizer in , he said no. Again I'm We were okay with that because we understood they were busy. My sons (6) food came out in no time! He ate all of his chicken, then all of his fruit and yogurt. And we still had not even received our appetizer yet. The server did not acknowledge us for that hour , asking everyone around us how their food was and so on , but couldn't even check to see if our drinks needed a refill. We waited an hour ! No food , and still not appetizer, and no refill . My son had been done eating for about 30 before we even got our food , so I let him play on the tablet because it was taking a while . After a whole hour we received our food . Still no appetizer. The server did apologize and Tell us he'd get his manager to fix the bill . When the food came out it wasn't horrible . Finally we get our check , the server hands it to us only to see they took $5 off. The appetizer that we never got alone was $7.99 , Are you serious !!!? We did order the 2 for 20 HOWEVER we only got that so we could get the appetizer. And we never got it !! And They still charged us for the tablet even tho we waited forever for our food, what did they expect him to do for that long. My boyfriend went and talked to the manager and he refused to do anything else and was rude ! We will not be returning and I will be contacting corporate tomorrow. read more
