This was my best experience at this location. The server made eye contact and thanked me for spending my Sunday afternoon with them. I said "oh wow, I've never been genuinely thanked for coming in. Our server was bubbly and very attentive. Our food was hot and delicious. We chose the little brownie bite dessert with ice cream as our dessert. After we were done eating, I didnt see our waitress again and didnt have our check. Luckily, I figured out how to pay at the table using the hand held device. We had great timing. As we were leaving the lobby waiting area was packed. The restaurant was overall clean. read more

Ambience was great! Loved the remodel, and it looks a lot more cozy. Service went down the drain with the remodel. I came in with friends, and had to wait over an hour for appetizers and entree's..service was a lot better before. Food had marginal quality. Hopefully this changes. read more

Wanted to get lunch... Walked in waited three minutes didn't see one person that worked there as I was sitting at the bar so I walked out... Whatever happened to somebody greeting you as soon as you walked in a restaurant... Do better ...won't be back read more

The only good thing about the restaurant was that the waiters and hostesses was really nice . However the food was atrocious and the service was bad . I got a salad with chicken on it but the chicken was dry like it had been in the refrigerator for a long time without being covered up and it was just dry and hard. My husband ordered a beer and it took almost a half hour to get it . And when he got it it was flat . My husband ordered pasta and it was hard because it had been sitting and waiting for someone to deliver it for so long . It wasn't hot in the top of the pasta was hard . I wish we had never spent that to go there . How can you screw up a salad by just using old chicken that was never covered ? How can it take so long to deliver a beer to our table ? I may never go to an Applebee's again . So long Applebee's . I used to love you . read more

Food was amazing. I had a whiskey burger it was delicious. The service from AJ was excellent. He kept making sure I was good or needed anything else. I definitely will be back read more

In Cleveland, beachwood Applebees. Restaurant had 6 tables seated out of 50 ish, still had to wait 10 minutes to be acknowledged. That was bartender shouting "Be right with you". When seated, table across aisle was full of dirty dishes. The drinks had no ice and had made table wet because it was hot in there and they were sweating. Obviously, had been there for some time before we came in. Ordered appetizers, then our meal, drinks took 2o minutes "bartender is working on your bush apple light". When they came with drinks, no beer, had to ask again. She brought a can of beer, no glass for my Wife. Why would it take so long to get a beer (in a can mind you), a Diet Coke and a water. Then dinner came out. Salmon plate was so hot it was unsafe, only warm plate of the 3. Chicken Alfredo looked a week old and broccoli was limp, ribs were cold, so 0-3 on meals and still no appetizer. After 15 minutes eating our meals, appetizer came out, completely cold. You can't eat cold mozzarella sticks or pickle fries, they were disgusting. Sent it back, didn't want it and told her why. Also asked for a refill of my Pepsi and had to ask twice for refill that had been empty 3 times she came to our table. Lady across aisle had no utensils, asked 3 times, food had to be cold when she could attempt to eat it. As we left, original table was still full of plates, table behind us was full of plates and lady across aisle did not eat her food. I've travelled across country with a softball travel team and would target hotels next to Applebees. Menu always consistent. This one in Cleveland was not just the worst Applebees, it was the worst I've ever experienced. When I asked for refills numerous times, food out late and meals before appetizers, place was in disarray, it was terrible. They did not apologize, barely acknowledged us at all. Applebees should do better, won't be back. read more

Food order is ALWAYS wrong the staff is rude especially over the phone, always seemed short staffed

Waited over 30 minutes for my food then it was overcooked- I should have just cooked my food at home

Odd smell at the door, dirty, the food was not cooked to order. Potato was cold, the appetizers and the broccoli was the only thing edible. Could have played football with steak. read more

Food was good up to par with other Applebees. Service was fast and got my order fast and accurate .

I can't believe this place has gone down as much as it has. I used to travel 45 minutes to come here regularly and I had the best food every single time I came here. Not so much today. Arrived at 3:10 on this Friday, waited over 5 minutes to be seated and more than that for anyone to notice i was there. After watching for some time, i noticed that the dining floor was being attended by one person who was also working the bar, the OTHER side of the restaurant, filling ice bins for Happy Hour. One wonders if she was cooking as well. I ordered the steak/shrimp and broccoli and a mound of the coldest mashed you've ever had (and every applebess had no idea how to heat their mashed, cold in all 5 locations i frequent!!). The steak was ordered as Medium Well and came out waaaay past burned and charred. After waiting over 16 minutes for it to arrive, even the steak knife was UNSUCCESSFUL to cutting through it or cutting off any pieces for me to try. I was able to see that it was solid brown through and through which is not what Medium Well is - slightly pink!! Server never checked to see how my meal was nor to refill my Diet Cola until she noticed the plate in the center of the table waiting, not for a doggy bag, even the puppy wouldnt have been able to tackle this leathery mess. I said no, this was far away from being near Medium Rare, asked if i would like another one and i definitely said No! I paid with credit card on that machine in center of table and walked out, dissatisfied with my entire experience. I had just left the wake of my best friend of over 25 years who will be buried tomorrow and this was one of the places we always met, so disappointed doesn't even begin to make me feel about coming back to this one. I will go back to Middleburg and Great Northern as they know how to serve, and check on and COOK more like a chef than my mothers home cooking which was not to die for. Sorry folks, not a fan of this location!!! read more

Have been to several Applebees before. Had a wait several minutes to be seated and the place was not busy. Passed several tables that needed to be cleaned. I took my granddaughters out for lunch at Applebee's. We were seated immediately, but it took 15 minutes to receive a glass of water. The waitress was very friendly and apologetic, though it seemed the restaurant might have been a bit understaffed. When I ordered my usual bourbon, it also took 15 minutes to arrive, and I was offered a cheaper substitute instead. Additionally, I was surprised to find my drink priced at $19, compared to the $8 I usually pay at my local Applebee's. The food took a while to arrive as well; my pasta was undercooked, and the buns on the girls' hamburgers were hard. After experiencing issues with one specific drink, I hesitated to send my food back. Given this experience, I am uncertain about returning to Applebee's in the future. read more

After visiting last night, I now know why the rating is so low. Service was extremely slow. The bartender would disappear at sometimes more than 15 minutes. Would then go to his register/monitor pretend like he was typing in orders but would be playing on his phone. Got the all you could eat riblets and only made it to the second batch when they were brought to the bar. They were absolutely ice cold. Not warm like taken out of the refrigerator cold. This not only happened to me as I saw it with every other person that came to the bar not sure if they were shortstaffed or not, but it was almost like some of his buddies or people he knew he would pay more attention to than anyone else I would not and I repeat, not recommend visiting Ruby Tuesdays read more

Not bad for a sports bar, family friendly place... And I just DON'T like these kind of places...so this is exactly what I expected! Just so underwhelming and ordinary. So I went because my friend has BEEN craving some Kind of salad they have.. Sorry, I forgot to take the photo opp! But I did take one of my mediocre Mac and Cheese Chicken bowl. Now 1st of all, when I ordered it, I specifically said PLEASE BRING IT OUT HOT. How did it arrive? Warm, so of course... Back it went. The Server asked did I want it reheated or remade...I said what restaurant reheats...why would a restaurant even have that ability? IN LESS THAN 4MIN, IT WAS BACK OUT. So, obviously it was reheated... No Mac and cheese sauce at all... I guess it dried up when it was reheated... Decent chicken,no sign of Bacon... Yea, No... No second chance Applebee's. Tonight I ordered a burger for my wife who is gluten free and 3 cheese chicken penne for myself. If you look at the picture, you will see the bun in there. I highlighted the entry that says "86 burger bun' - why couldn't she just have typed in "no burger bun'?? My 3 cheese chicken penne was ok, but I got no bread stick and the sauce was like water. I hate ordering food, you get one shot, I know it's busy in the kitchen, but I only had one change, and it was there on the order slip. Still disappointed. read more

Iffy, the food was good quality and the waiter was nice; however, it's not like the Applebee's in University heights. The hostess's were very much non-caring and held a conversation before letting us sit down, when we left they acted as if they did not want to say goodbye. I said goodbye to one person who worked there, they looked at me and walked away which was very strange. Will not eat at this specific Applebee's again specifically due to the weird service. read more

I went to this restaurant 11/7/23. It was approximately 5,:00 pm. There was no receptionist and i waited an unpleasant amount of time . When i was seated, in an empty room, i was seated next to the restroom doors. The hostess wax flummoxed by my refusal to sit there. My server was indifferent. I fully believe that the customers' expectations as to service are reflected in the waiters' attitude. To be blunt. as an old white make dressed in sweats patronizing a restaurant that had a substantial black customer base, one of two things are reasonable: a white patron is not welcome or the customer base does expect anything better. At a $46.00 tab i am not going back. read more

Came in at 1:30 during the week. Being after lunch and not crowded, everything went as clockwork. Several staff said, Hello. Menu was clean and had many selections with caloric count. I was seated, ordered, and served. The tortilla soup tasted very nice with a little heat. It's chicken and tortilla strips were nice. The chicken wonton tacos were three to the order. The wonton taco shell was thin and crispy. The chicken and cabbage with a sauce were delicious. My server, Juliqua, was friendly and very good. She answered my questions. On the table was a little box for playing games. Bathrooms were nice. read more

Great service. Excellent customer service. Waitress was very courteous yet professional. Food hot!

The worst. It was only nominal at best, but the last 3 times we never even made it to a table. Today we waited 15 minutes and were never even acknowledged. I ordered a to go order on November 19, 1/2 slab of ribs baked potatoe. The ribs were completely dried out, burnt to a crisp and the baked potato overcooked. I contacted the manager, Liz S and she responded quickly to resolve the problem. I threw away the dinner and didn't want to drive back to the restaurant to get another meal that night. Liz S said that I would be getting a E gift card as a settlement, however that never happened. Very poor customer service & terrible food! read more

Always a wait just to be seated. Seems like it's staffed however service slow. Last time waited to be seated and food took awhile before it came out of kitchen. We will not try this Applebee's again! There was a local deli in our town that I would never eat at and I never thought any other place could be ranked as low on my personal list, but Applebees filled the spot. OK, so I will look beyond the green extended fingernails and pink hair of the server...I ordered I believe the veggie burger and an iced tea and with tip the meal quality was poor and the cost...I could have spent little more and had a very decent and healthy meal at the Capital Grill. This garbage was over $20 for lunch out with the girls (who for some unknown reason favor this place...perhaps it is location. As I write this I am back to re review the menu before calling someone to say if I will join them next week or not. I will most likely only order a beverage. I am not a saint when it comes to my diet, but it is supposed to be heart healthy avoiding fried and sodium. There is little here to pick from that isn't one or the other and anything getting closer to healthy is even more expensive. I'm just not putting up with it now that I have become a senior on a fixed income. I'd rather eat McDonalds if I'm going to go unhealthy. Let me end this on a positive note. It was better than the food in the rehab/nursing facility I was in a few years back. read more

I waited so long for food but in the end it ended up being on the house we were able to get whatever we wanted

I ordered take out. I will never order from Applebee's again. To give them one star was a push! The cheeseburger that had no cheese made McDonald's look like a 4 star dining experience. The meat in the sandwich was a cold dried up burger. Back when they had a restaurant in Solon the Fajitas was okay. Not the best but passable, My children liked it. I'm going to say 3.5 stars. I will give credit where credit is due. I won a 25$ gift card to this "Chain" It twas the Thursday Night 2 nights before Xmas. I met up with a couple of my BOYZ, and advised hey this one is one me. Being a bit cautious I walked in and the place was moderately busy for 9:30 pm. We rolled up to the bar and noticed that they had winter ale, 4 bucks for a big one. Nice! My friend assured me that I would be OK, and I started to relax. After sucking down a nice winter ale we noticed that all burgers were only 5$ after 9:00 pm and they came with fries. All Apps were like 4.50. OK so we all ordered this burger that came with bacon, straw onions, and cheese. I asked if it could be cooked Medium Rare. The barkeep said they could make it pink. I like pink but only when it comes to meat! Burgers came out perfectly cooked and were mighty tasty! The fries decent. I must say I felt like a mini Santa Claus after this, ho ho ho! The service was polite and efficient. The bartender was stuck making some sort of ice cream liqueur concoction. he apologized and said he would be with us in just a minute. I must say if I'm in this area and want to ingest 5000 calories for 5 bucks I know where to do it ,and just may do it again! read more

Took my son there for his 18th birthday. Over an hour for some of our food to arrive. Orders where wrong. Food was not cooked correctly. The place dead too. Only 6 tables had people. Came on a Friday night with my wonderful daughter. We ordered our food right away. The bad thing is we waited for almost an hour to get a kids meal and an appetizer. Her food came out and was cold and over cooked. My food came out so salty that you could melt ice with it on Mayfield Road. I returned my food and decided to go to another place for dinner. This place can be quite the trip. Walk in and the greater says follow me, then points at the point and says (and I quote) tall can sit over there. The waiter greets us before he gets to the table and I'm like "are you our server?" He says "yes" as he's leaning towards me in the table. While I normally don't expect much from a mid-level chain like this, I am very disappointed after my second visit here. My first visit was during the holidays, and the service was very slow and the food mediocre. Per the server, he was actually just a temp from the kitchen who they brought out to help out. I guess the fact that his nametag said "Batman" should have been the tip-off. My second visit was a week ago and the service was again very slow, with no one checking on our table or refilling drinks while we waited for what seemed forever for our food. Once the food did arrive, the meat was cold in the middle, and everything else on the plate seemed to just be tossed on without care. No interest in returning here. read more
