The service was amazing the waitress was Brooklyn and she was amazing the food arrived hot like always and tasted amazing I would recommend this to anyone in the area read more

Food and service were great. Unfortunately, there were a LOT of fruit flies/gnats flying around overwhelming the atmosphere. Now that the weather is colder, let's hope those annoying bugs are gone. Margarita was excellent. Grilled Chicken Chinese Salad crunchy and tasty. Consistent quality for a chain restaurant. read more

We always stop at Applebee's when we are in Ludington. Hunter is our favorite server!!! His personality is so fun! Love the quesadilla burger! And we always try the seasonal drinks! read more

Love the food. I'm always satisfied with my order. The service has always been amazing, always making sure we have what we need. The ambiance is wonderful, I walk in, and I'm not feeling rushed or stressed. read more

We came in, waited 5 minutes for the hostess to figure out where to seat us with the restauant being 1/10 full. Finally got our table and the waitress eventually showed up. We ordered water and perused the menu. I used the facilities telling the wife to order for me. Came back, no water, no waitress and very few people in the restaurant. Waited another TEN MINUTES and saw no one, got no water, placed no order so we left. No hostess was at the check in station to complain to and tell why we were leaving. I wonder if they even noticed. I will NOT be returning to this or any other Applebees any time in the future. Good luck. read more

Poor Staff. They put three other groups in the wait list before us and we walked in first.

We were escorted out of this restaurant by the Applebees manager for allowing our 10 year old grand daughter with celiac disease to open a sealed cup of Cheerios to eat because there was no gluten free items she could order from their menu. They are not accommodating to people with food allergies. We won't go back because of that rude discrimination toward a child we experienced at the Ludington Applebees restaurant. read more

Best place to eat!! Great atmosphere. Fast friendly service. Half off late night apps!

Wow I paid over 13.00 for a meal that looks like you could get in a freezer from the grocery store.. wow. Getting sloppy on their food service. Or crap cooks and management not look at food before it goes out to customers.. shrimp we're barely cooked properly. Chicken was dry. Not much broccoli. I was so hungry, I ate half and gave the rest to my dog. Need cooks to be trained properly and know what shrimp supposed to looked like cooked. Pink not barely pink. Had to recook it. read more

good food but very slow service. Sitting at a table for 15 min waiting for a drink. employees talking to each other i at of doing their jobs

Run in and check in, then they text you when your table is ready. You wait in the car. I had the whiskey burger and it hit the spot. I also tried the ribs and they tender and delicious. read more

As a general rule, we don't eat at Applebee's but our options were very limited after a long day of driving. The restaurant recently reopened after a fire and it seemed they were still working the kinks out. The 20 minute wait time turned into 40 and they didn't have their lager system yet. After that, they were out of mint for mojitos and it took forever to get our food. The food was good for being Applebee's, really as long as you go in with not super high expectations, it's generally ok. read more

Went for dinner and it was not good. It was on a Saturday evening and the place was not busy. I ordered the bourbon chicken and it was over cooked and looked like it was thrown together. My wife ordered a steak which was full of gristle and not edible. We complained to our server and he did discount our bill. It seems like Applebees quality has really deteriorated to the point where we will look at other options before returning. read more

We went on a Saturday hoping to watch some sports. When we arrived, there were multiple open tables in the bar area with the tvs. When we asked to be seated in that area, we were then told that those seats were reserved for a group of 40. They said the only available area was in the far booths with no tvs. We then decided to leave because we have never had this kind of experience ever anywhere. read more

Today I had the buffalo boneless wings, and the bacon burger. The wings were good, not overly sauced or overcooked. I ordered the burger medium and it was spot on, thank you! read more

Came in with a larger group. Called ahead of time to have them prepare some tables for us. We arrived and they had no idea we were coming. We waited 40 minutes for some tables to be pushed together. When the food finally came , the consensus was that everyone's dishes were dried out- like they had been sitting out too long. We there for over 3 hours trying to get food and get out the door. Will never be back. Ludington has a lot of good food options. Stay away from Applebee's. read more

Standard Applebee's. The food is good and I have never had them get my order wrong. Typical sit-down casual restaurant. Good menu selection and they seem to change menus on a regular basis. They do offer some lower calorie options which are noted on the menu. This location was recently re-built because the previous location was lost in a fire last Winter. The new look is consistent with the look of other newer stores. It now offers an outdoor seating area and is said to be a little bigger than it was preciously, however I don't see a huge difference. A downside of the new Applebee's is that the waiting area is much smaller than it was in the previous building. They offer one bench and couple chairs, directly in front of the door that goes to the patio. It can get very crowded and busy when waiting and others are walking through. They seem to be a little off with their wait times. We had a large party which may have had something to do with it. However there is a huge difference between a 20 minute wait and a 50 minute wait. The kids that were with us were getting a little restless, which I thought was pretty funny since we had to wait so much longer. There were other tables they could've arranged for us but apparently they wanted us in a certain area. Most servers and staff seem to be pretty friendly. Decent food at a decent price. Nice atmosphere. read more

Wait time for food is unacceptable. Waited for over an hour with no explanation for the delay. Appears that everyone is waiting for food and becoming very anxious. I'll be hesitant to return - many other places in the area that is rather spend my time. I will add that our bill was reduced due to the wait which was a nice gesture. It still would have been nice to have the delay acknowledged while it was happening. Our server simply told us two different times that the food would be right out. This is my second visit since the rebuild after the fire. Both times have had very similar service - not at all like it was in the past. The new restaurant looks great, it's time to work on the customer service and get back to the great place everyone remembers. read more

Boy, it seems to be my day to write reviews that knock the service. We were here on vacation and left our B & B too late to hit the local restaurants we wanted to try. So we went to Applebee's, for their late hours. I seriously cannot recall what my dish was called, sorry. But it was tasty, a pile of garlic mashed potatoes, topped with chunks of steak, mushrooms, stout gravy, and little onion strings/rings. Hubby ordered the parm steak & shrimp. It came without the parm or the shrimp, so had to go back. When we finished eating, we waited...and waited...for our bill. We were never asked if we wanted another drink. Meantime, the 2 young men at the table across from us had a steady stream of waitresses, sometimes 2 at a time. Granted, we are senior citizens, but still...come on. You have one job. How about doing it? read more

Used the app for an order tonight, everything seemed ok for pickup! Upon initial inspection at restaurant they forgot the kids drink I ordered, after getting home with order found they had given me three orders of fries and forgot the steak I ordered. Not worth the tip, or the price! read more

Absolute worst service I've ever had. I don't mind waiting a little longer for food or drinks to come out but at least come tell me that it's going to take longer. They put us in the smallest booth knowing we had a child with us so there was no room on the table for literally anything. Other than that the food was decent and the cocktail strong. Thank God for the strong cocktail or I would have walked out after an hour and a fucking half. read more

My wife and I really love Applebee's and have been to the Ludington location many times. I skimmed through many of the reviews here and have to agree that the service is worse since they rebuilt. Our most recent visit was about 530 on a Saturday night just before supper rush and we we're seated right away. We waited at least 30 minutes for our food with no real apology or explanation as others have noted. My dad's dish was overcooked/burned, but he's not the type to say anything. I ordered my steak medium well and it came definitely well done if not overcooked. I rarely complain at restaurants, but I love the house sirloin, so I told the waitress. They remade the steak and it was perfect and they also took it off the bill. The only thing I'd say is that they need to communicate more. The waitress was polite but wasn't apologetic and didn't tell us they were taking it off the bill, but I guess I shouldn't complain since they did. I still give them 4 stars based mainly on the quality of the food. read more

Food was ok no real complaints but nothing great that I would say I need again. Really slow when it came to dessert. The food came out quickly but we had aid bill got receipt and still waiting on dessert. The triple chocolate meltdown is amazing though the ice cream tasted a bit old. read more

im thankful for the staff working through a global pandemic, but the customer service was not that good. the waitress was not there until the food came out. the staff also made me move to check under my booth for some menus. it took long for the food to come out and when it did my pasta was cold, and the roast beef was so chewy, practically was jerky with some american cheese thrown on top. the only good thing that came out of the restaurant was the lemonade. read more

Food was excellent. I got the 2 for 22 meal for me and my gf. We had a burger for her and chicken tenders for me. I've been to many locations and this by far is the best one yet. Food is good most of the time. But dont order from carside to go! First time they said my order would be ready at 1:45 and my food didnt come out until 2:05. Second time I figured I would do a preset time. Gave them an hours notice i would be coming. Scheduled it for 4:45 to be picked up. Didnt come out til 5:00. And to top it off it was cold and fries were soggy! good thing I was on lunch because there wouldnt be anytime to eat it! read more

Pickup order was late. Food cold and delivered to car not as ordered. One more try and if the same results I am done

Not a big fan of Applebee's as a whole, and I will usually never eat at them, since there are better choices. However, The Applebee's in Ludington is not your average Applebee's. The waitstaff is great, friendly, great bartenders, and the half off appetizer deals they have later in the evening are great. Food has always been great and no issues! Great stop! read more

My boyfriend and I went to walk into Applebee's and the door on the side said that it opened at 11. At 11:06 we tried to open the door and it was locked. The host looked at us, and instead of opening the door for us, she walked away like she didn't see us. We got back in the car and began to drive away and as we were leaving we saw her back at the host stand again. We both work at an Applebee's and we know from where we work that the door needs to be open 15 minutes before the posted time. Since we tried to open the door after the the posted time, we thought it was very rude that she walked away and didn't open the door for us. read more

We went here late and were absolutely starving. Normally that would make the food taste better but as usual, applebees is far from a fine dining experience. I think taco bell would be better if they served alcohol. The appetizer was half off but came in a "hot" dish and was stone cold. My wife couldn't eat her food because it was too spicy and my pasta was undercooked. Overall, my experience was a good reminder of why i try to avoid eating here. read more
