This was my first time at an Applebees, so maybe I'll return to try it again... I had ordered the chicken Parmesan pasta and it was alright. It did feel like the pasta was a little undercooked and the slightest bit stiff. Our service was okay and environment was comfortable. read more

Been a while since I visited - I'll try to be kind as I can - Received 5 Onion Rings - which rather skimpy - the worst part was they were cold The waitress was great took them back with my plate - they were kind enough to return with extra onion rings that were warm - but the my had reheated the ones I sent back - the original Orings came back burned - unable to eat them - They also came back in a bowl - My Hamburger had no plate - it was kind of fun eat off a napkin -- until the manager noticed & brought me a plate - I didn't complain about the Burger - we ordered 2 burgers at the table - asked for both to be Pink - Both burgers were over cooked - One to med well and one to well done - I already felt like I complained enough - I didn't sent it back - neither did the other person at the table - but she's a regular -- I was able to drown mine in ketchup to offset the char- I think the kitchen staff need some extra training - Giving a 2 because overall the waitress was sweet - and funny made my parents happy with her Banter- Manager noticed I was eating off of a napkin - But the kitchen - wow- def not helping with securing repeat business read more

Popped in yesterday at 1:40pm for lunch. The place was empty but clean. I ordered the 3 way appetizer and my husband ordered the Bourbon Street steak meal. The appetizer basket consisted of 1 strip of riblets, a lukewarm quartered up chicken quesadilla and 5 lukewarm "almost" sauced buffalo chicken chunks. How in the world would that have been shared as an appetizer? I literally scraped the meat off of the emaciated riblet to create 1/2 of a forkful. My husband's steak was ordered rare but came to the table well done. Comparing our disappointments, he decided to eat what he could so that we could just cut our losses and never return. This was the third bad food experience here. I held off writing a review before but 1 star is fitting now. read more

I ate at Applebee's in Hadley last evening. It had been a long time before last night. The food was mediocre. The shrimp was okay but the fries were terrible and I wanted to send them back but my grandson urged me not to say anything. The fries were premade hours earlier and left under a heater. Dry, wilted and dull. Worst I have ever had. The waitress (Marley) was excellent. I left a tip because of her great service. There is really no excuse for poor french fries. How hard it is? read more

I ordered my food and waited about a half hour while other people around me were getting served who walked in after me. I ordered a simple chicken and fries. Takes about 10 minutes minutes to cook because I know how to cook. Plus there were like 12 people in the restaurant . I finally said I would like to take this to go as I have no time to eat it now. The heavy set blonde manager came out with the food and handed it to me and I said Thank you And as always getting up to leave she said in front of everybody "did you pay?". In front of everybody she said that. I turned back and I said please look and you can see if I paid on the kiosk on the table. She said loudly I hope so because you're leaving with the food. I've been to this place maybe 300 times never had a problem. This was disgraceful, embarrassing and very disappointing for a local business to be like this. read more

service ... great! I had an issue ordering online so I called and we're super helpful. BUT... when I did call to explain my steak was RAW she said it "wasnt her problem, contact uber eats" ... I work in a restaurant..so yes..this is your problem and is probably the reason you have under 3 stars. no apologies for the food.. but the rest of my order was ok. take a look at this steak... We were looking for a fairly quick dinner so stopped into Applebees. We were promptly seated pretty and quickly ordered a beer and a blue margarita (unfortunately I forgot what it was called, I think that it might have had Dwayne Johnson tequila or something similar) and the appetizer sampler platter. Both the margarita and the appetizer platter were large lol. I ended up having 2 margaritas and they were pretty weak but tasted good but very sweet. The app platter consisted of a small serving of spinach artichoke dip and tortilla chips, several boneless wings, a quesadilla, and mozzarella sticks. Sauces were blue cheese, ranch, marinara, and salsa. It was pretty good! Truth be told that would have been fine for a meal for 2. But I went ahead and ordered the southwest chicken bowl as well. It was marinated grilled chicken sitting atop cilantro rice with corn salsa, guacamole, pico, some romaine lettuce, and tortilla strips. I'd definitely order this again. I ended up taking most of it home. read more

Ok so first off went here with my family and we all sat down and something smelled funny. Ordered are drinks and then food and after the drinks came I noticed it was not what I ordered so I sat there and then after we got the food the smell came back was the waitress smelled like she had no deodorant on witch was not what I wanted to smell while I was trying to eat. Then I brought to the waitress attention that I don't think it was what I ordered she said it was and instead of taken it back she told me nope she was right and I was wrong ok. So I did not drink it and then most of the food looked like a 5 year old cooked it and most of it was ice cold and very poorly made and we all agreed that something was off at this place and we probably will not be ever going back and to pay for something I did not drink and half the food was cold and nasty all three of us did not eat and got it to go and feed it to the dogs.and for a 90 dollar bill was by far one of the worst restaurants I have gone to in my life and would love for a full refund or something to come about this I would never recommend this Applebee's to anyone.....anywhere I have gone in my life customers are always right and some people just think there above everyone else. read more

No wonder it's a 3 star spot, the whoever it was without the name tag and not in uniform would not accept the digital copy of my ID, im 42 and look it and this dude just decided to ruin my diner, I ordered to go margarita with bunch of food and this whoever just got stuck on me producing the physical ID, I tell him the lady on the phone taking order should've remind and he says "well you go to the restaurant you take the ID" I went to lots of different restaurants and my look never prompted the waiter to show my ID, and the state law says if you look over 40 no need to produce the ID, thank you Hadley Applebees for ruining my dinner, this just might be my last time I went to Applebees , any Applebees, keep up ruining dinners. Not thankful at all. read more

Have you ever had a craving for something but you can't quite put a finger on what exactly you desire? Applebee's is the right place to be! The Hadley Applebee's in particular is far better than other Applebee's i've been to in the past. I had a Quesadilla burger with some fries and let me tell you, my mouth was watering bite after bite! The french fries were perfectly seasoned, crisp, and fresh. The burger itself was juicy and flavor packed. I washed this down with a signature Perfect Margarita, WOW. The bartender suggested I try her favorite flavor, pomegranate. Man was that amazing! Overall a great time, fun atmosphere, and upbeat attitude from the staff. I will always choose Applebee's over other restaurants! read more

Staff just stared at us while we waited 10 minutes for a table in a nearly empty restaurant. Food was mediocre.

The temperature of the restaurant is colder than the refrigerated section of Costco. Everyone had their jackets on and looked like they are Eskimos without a hat. We asked the server, Rebecca, if it is possible to turn on the heat, but she said "If I turn on the heat for this section, the entire restaurant's heat will also be on. So, sorry, I can't turn on the heat for you." Well, I guess I should have asked for a personal fireplace since Applebee's can't even afford turning on the heater for a little bit when most of the customers were literally shivering. With a glass of ice water in my hands, I guess I can at least expect for some warm food that can heal me from the frostbite. I asked about the rib plate on the menu and apparently the server thought that I am stupid. She was not rude while answering my questions but was definitely impolite. But anyway, I ordered the 25-dollar meal where we get 1 appetizer and 2 entrees. The steak was okay. But the rib plate, I have never ate a rib that was this cold, meatless and dry. I can tell that the fries on the side just came out of the fryer, I can also tell that the rib either just fell and got dragged on the floor for 5 times and someone decided to put some sauce (1 teaspoon) to cover up the dust or it was sent back from a freezing hell. Guys, please don't order the rib or even add that 2 dollar for the platter, donate that 2 dollars to the African kids who are in need instead. Jesus loves you. read more

Would come again! Great customer service. Our waitress Julia was the best!! Food was awesome too :)

Horrible service no heat! Went on Saturday, was freezing and snowing outside. Got in waited 5 mins to be seated not even acknowledged had 2 kids. They immediately put us in the back corner of the restaurant where it was freezing cold so we asked to be moved . We watched 2 tables get their food before us when they came after us. We noticed how cold it was getting after finally getting our food and THEN they told us that their heater was broken. They should inform ppl of that before they are seated . The food was disgusting the waitress was slow, kept forgetting us, took 30 minutes to bring my friends hot water for tea, then claimed she forgot . We asked if we could be comped because we literally were freezing so was everyone else and the waitress said that's not her problem there's nothing she can do or help with. She was gonna get a tip but we immediately took it back because of how nasty and rude she was. I forgot her name but she was an older white lady with glasses and it started with a "J" if i could give 0 stars i would . Trash ! read more

It's Tuesday, and that means half Apps at the Bee's! My dear friend William's birthday was so well spent. Of course we got every appetizer on the menu, except the bone-in wings which our waitress forgot about, but we forgave her. At one point there were no employees in sight, and we needed our drinks filled. The birthday song they said was pretty weak. Happy birthday William! read more

I am currently at this Applebees with my family and we are having the worst experience we've ever had in a restaurant. We got here at 8:45 and were kept waiting for a table when there was no wait. We tried to be courteous and put our complete order in to help the server and we've been waiting for our drinks for over 30 minutes. We weren't given any appetizer plates but were brought appetizers one at a time, 5-10 minutes apart. It is now 9:46 and we have not received our entrees. For religious reasons, we do not eat pork and we asked for modifications on menu items to ensure there was no pork but we were still brought food with pork in it and my mom's steak was cold by the time we got our food. This was supposed to be a family dinner to celebrate my sisters birthday but it has been a terrible experience. read more

Service was just ok. Our appetizer was never delivered, the server totally forgot about it. We decided to have it removed from the bill because our meals had already come to table. Grilled chicken and strawberry salad came to table without the grilled chicken included. When we asked about the chicken, the server brought it to us in a separate bowl. My husband ordered a burger it was good and my granddaughter had the children's pizza which she liked. Probably won't go back, overall not worth it. read more

I ate at Applebee's in Hadley MA on Saturday June 10th with my grandson and husband. The food was delivered cold and when sent back it came in courses and was not tasty. Well. Just had the worst customer service experience. If we could give a 1/2 star. Or no star that would be more appropriate. Went into the restaurant about 2:30. Ready to enjoy a beer and lunch. Only one person at the bar. We sat down near the draft beer-pouring station. Bartender greeted us. Gave us menus Within minutes, probably steady customers sat at the bar. 110% of the bartenders attention went to those guests. She served them. Hey. What about us??? We were here 1st!! And she kept answering the calls for customers who called. Not there like we were still sitting and sitting and sitting as she was gossiping with the regulars about someone...maybe Brittany???...got let go cuz apparently wasn't trained properly. As we sat and she took another phone customer. See ya. We left. Went down the street to Hangers. read more

this was not macncheese macncheese is macaroni and this was penne and it was sweet, but in a weird way??

Came in with very low expectations. Walked in and the place was, as expected a dirty dive. Half priced appetizers cheered me up though. The food was better than expected. Drinks came hard and fast. Good place to go if you don't want to be judged for being wasted. I'll be back. read more

3 stars seems about right. Service was OK, drinks were great. We figured the best bang for our buck was getting a bunch of appetizers for our table and it worked out pretty well. The reason I give only 3 stars is because I did not receive my double crunch wings and the drinks took way too long to come. Other than that I had a good meal. 6/10 would recommend! Enjoy guys! read more

0 stars the customer service was horrible. My waitress was Rebecca, she forgot multiple items, straws, beverage's, and food items. She also had a horrible attitude and was throwing our check and change on the table. When we spoke to the manager Brittney she instantly defended her workers behavior and did not apologize for it and proceeded to say she acted that way because she wasn't given a "good" tip. She did not deserve a "good" tip, why is it taking 20 minutes to get a glass of water. Good tip is given for good service. Will never be going back to this location. The environment and attitude was hostile from the beginning and was giving racist. Don't come here! read more

Places like this will distort Places like Friday's and Chili's. The food here is served just as fast and is so much better.

Had a great experience. They had a free meal for veterans for the day. When I raised right hand 33 years ago I had no idea that businesses would honor and respect that decision. I will choose Applebee's in the future. Had the Double Crunch Shrimp. Good stuff. Had Jaime as my server. She was awesome. Go here. read more

Very friendly service but my orange chicken was way off the mark. I have eaten the same dish in GermanTown Maryland and NJ Applebees but here it was full of sugar and no spice. Arrived at 9pm. Most places are closed other than chain restaurants at this hour on a Monday. Took 30 minutes to get drinks at the bar. Server was overwhelmed with zero support from the seven staff on the floor and manager who couldn't perform any of the roles staff were tasked with. Sad to watch a young server try to service an entire bar and dining room while the rest of the staff walked aimlessly about or sat idly by pretending to do side work. Ice waters took 20 minutes and had to be from the kitchen. No glassware fore drinks at the bar. Yet there was seven staff in the front of house? Sad times when you watch customers get up and grab their own silverware and napkins from the wait stations. A manager should be running food, drinks, clearing tables, greeting guest, etc. Not leaving young staff to fend for themselves. Sign of the times for sure. Props to the young server on bar for doing her best. Her tips from us snd several other customers who all witnessed this shitshow reflected our awareness and appreciation. read more

Being that this Applebee's is in close proximity to my place of employment, we have eaten here many times as part of someone's birthday celebration, and for many end-of-semester celebrations. We usually arrive by 11:45 and are done by 1:45, so these are the only times I am able to comment on accurately. We generally have decent and timely service at this Applebees location. The wait staff are, for the most part, friendly and accommodating to our large groups, and they process our tax exempt credit card without issue. The food is pretty hit-or-miss. Sometimes everything is excellent, and sometimes food comes out cold, overdone, dripping in oil, or stale. I would say 70% of the time we have no issues, and the rest of the time there are minor issues that are easily remedied. Only once did we have a truly awful meal. But because of the distance/convenience, it's a place we tend to come back to. If you go in for lunch M-F, you should have an overall fine experience. Especially if you come in during the school year when business from the five colleges keep the food more fresh and the wait staff more chipper. read more

The Applebee's in Hadley is a place that I go frequently whenever my parents are up in Mass to visit me at school. It's pretty much a typical applebees, but deffinately worth going to. They have this deal now where you can get a 3 course meal for something cheap like 12.99. The chicken fingers platter is good, but I'd advise against the cheesecake, which was very dry and a dissapointment after seeing the yummy picture. read more
