Went to Applebees with mom on Tuesday evening. Pretty busy but we got our food quickly. Our waitress was amazing. They have a really good deal-2 for $25 where you get an app to share and two dinners. We both got the fiesta lime chicken. It's always my favorite there. Chicken was cooked perfect and placed on tortilla strips and melty cheese served with Spanish rice. Really great dinner! read more

We stopped in at Applebee's tonight and overall had a good experience, thanks largely to our server Lexi and the manager, Adam. We had about a 10-minute wait to be seated, which wasn't bad. Once we sat down, Lexi greeted us right away, took our drink order, and got our kids' meals started. We ordered two kids' chicken tenders with fries, plus a side of applesauce and a side of strawberries. They don't normally offer strawberries as a side, but for $1.75 she made it happen. It wasn't a huge portion, but the fact that she went out of her way to accommodate that request was appreciated. Drinks came out quickly, and the kids' food followed about 4 minutes after we ordered - incredibly fast, which is a huge help when you've got little ones. My wife and I both ordered the appetizer trio. I chose the pickle fries, crunchy shrimp, garlic parm boneless wings, and a side Caesar salad. My wife got mozzarella sticks, BBQ boneless wings, chicken wonton tacos, and an order of loaded waffle fries. Unfortunately, after about a 25-minute wait, the food came out ice cold. On top of that, the sauces were served in large ramekins and had spilled over into the food, and the loaded waffle fries were burnt from sitting too long in the salamander. When Lexi came back to check on us and I explained the issue, she immediately grabbed her manager instead of making excuses. Adam, the manager, came over, listened to everything, and handled it exactly how you'd hope. He offered to remake the food right away. I joked, "Not if it's going to take another 25 minutes," and he confidently said it wouldn't and to give him about 5 minutes. It really felt like he went back there and took care of it himself, because within about 5 minutes, we had fresh, hot food in front of us. The difference was night and day. Yes, in total we waited around 40 minutes from the original order to finally getting food we could enjoy, but Adam absolutely owned the mistake and made it right without attitude or pushback. That goes a long way. We were happy to pay full price because of how professionally he handled it. Great job, Adam. Lexi's service throughout was friendly and attentive. At the end, she brought us boxes and a to-go bag for our leftovers - something you rarely see handled that thoughtfully anymore. Extra points for her hospitality. Our bill was around $63 and we left a $15 tip. Despite the rocky start with the food, the way Adam and Lexi took care of us is the reason we'd consider coming back. Mistakes happen - it's how you fix them that matters, and they did a great job. On top of that, this was honestly one of the nicer Applebee's locations I've been to. The layout felt open and comfortable, the dining area and bar were very clean, and the overall ambiance was relaxed and welcoming. Even the men's restroom stood out -- they had screens by the urinals, which I've never seen before in a casual restaurant and thought was a pretty cool touch. I typically don't leave bad reviews unless something really irks me. I went to Applebee's in Greensburg tonite; party of two. When seated, it took over fifteen minutes for anyone to come to the table. I chalked it to up to understaffing. Finally, a waitress came over and asked if anyone had gotten to us. I say no and she leaves... waiting on the table behind us that were seated after us. I guess we weren't her table. Finally our waiter came over and took our order, then vanished. Our appetizer, and then our entrees were brought out by different people. weird, but okay. My order was wrong. My mashed potatoes were definitely green beans. I could tell. My steak... also not the steak the ordered. sigh. But the waitress disappeared before I could say anything. So I told myself, okay... the waiter was young and inexperienced and I ate what I was served without complaining. There was no one to complain to anyway. lol So we sat and ate and half hour later no one had checked on us. No refills, no how's your meal... nothing. I stared at the waitresses across the room, but nothing. Finally the waiter came over and at that point I had already paid on the kiosk and was ready to leave. I'm a big believer in tipping. I typically leave at 25 to 30% tip. The service was so lackadasical that for the first time since the pandemic ended I left 15%. Applebees... My father in law loves the skillets so we went to Applebees for him. We were told the wait would be 20-25 minutes and it was over 50 even though there were tons of empty tables. 3-4 working the hostess stand seems like a lot when the servers were so back up. Last night, June 14, we chose Applebee's for a bite to eat after my great granddaughters dance recital. There were 6 adults and 2 small children. The table looked clean but it was so sticky it was terrible. The floor around us had straw papers and food all over. Our waiter was very accommodating. It wasn't overly busy but it took over 45 minutes to get our food. The whole restaurant looked like it needed a good cleaning. I'll stick to Applebees in Irwin. read more

The ribs that were served to me had to come from a baby pig. They were very short without much meat. The margarita I had was sweet and served in a martini glass. I never write reviews but I had to with the order we received. We ordered delivery from Applebee's I ordered the steak and mashed potatoes with vegetables. My boyfriend ordered the bourbon Street chicken, both of our food showed up looking like slop like someone just threw everything in one container per meal and shook it up. They put my mashed potatoes in the container with the steak and vegetables the juice tore apart the bottom of the side container leaving paper residue in my food. My boyfriend said his chicken was dry and his potatoes were lacking any flavour both extremely disappointed. My steak was like a rock my knife couldn't cut through and the taste left me nauseous. My dad and I decided to go to Applebee's for that $10 hamburger fries and a drink special. I've never been to this Applebee's, in general I've not really been an Applebee's person but I figured what the hell. We sst at the bar and I had a good view of the layout of the place, which is very nice, lots of colors and there's a big Steelers mural on one wall, which really suits the place. The bartender, Kayla, immediately asked us if we would like a drink. So I was sitting there and I happened to be close to where the beverages were served and Kayla was interacting with a couple of the waitresses. I heard someone say the phrase okie dokie. I found that to be funny and made comments about the use of that old school phrase. It was great we had a back and forth between Kayla and I using okie dokie for much of the night, lol. Once we placed the order I found out that I could have a medium rare hamburger. When the food arrived I wasn't disappointed, it was cooked to order, a perfect medium rare hamburger. The burger was generous in its size and the quality of the meat was juicy and savory. I would recommend this meal to anybody. It is economic and you get unlimited fries. Honestly I didn't even get a second order of fries, the hamburger was so big! Overall it was one of the best visits to any restaurant I've had in a very long time. Dinner last night was Horrible! Service was Horrible. Ordered the 2 for $28 dinner. The appy was stone cold and returned, second replacement was cold as well, finally the kitchen manager delivered a 3rd after our dinner was 1/2 gone. The 6oz sirloin my wife ordered was a super well done tire patch that was inedible. We took the steak home however pitched it as it was hard and inedible. Our waitress was impersonal and indifferent to our complaints of cold food and overcooking of dinner. To many I'm sorrys. The entire time we ate there was a tall bartender and a black bartender with hi headphones in singling rap songs obnoxiously and saying swear words left and right. Updated review: It's been over two years since my review for this location. We met friends here for lunch. My rating went from 3 stars to 2 stars mainly because I was disappointed in my food. I ordered the stuffed rigatoni. No sides were offered with this dish, not even a breadstick. The cost of the dish was $12.99 for only the rigatoni. It wasn't worth it. I had to ask for breadsticks. Our friends was satisfied with their hamburgers and fries. Maybe if I return here, I'll try that. read more

Came here on Saturday, June 29th after buying fireworks with my boyfriend. I decided to give this Applebee's location a try as we like the chain and always have had a positive experience at the Uniontown location. My main motivation for coming here is I wanted to eat outside under the pavilion although it started raining as soon as we got there so we ate inside. Our food was decent. I ordered the rack of ribs and a baked potato and broccoli and the food was very good as I really enjoy their ribs. My boyfriend ordered the beef brisket with fries and he liked it and said it tasted good but he wishes he would of ordered something else as it wasn't very filling. Our waitress was okay. She didn't have much of a personality but she brought us our food and checked back on us a few times for drink refills. Service was a little slow but it was busy there and there was a line to get in as we were there right at dinner rush hour. Overall, we got tasty hot food and average service on a busy night. About a 3.5 star service. I may be back again the next time I am in Greensburg on a sunny day so I can eat outside. read more

So sad. Use to go to Applebee's all the time and can't believe how bad it is now. Had to get our own menus to start with. Waitress forgot our order even after writing it down. Chips with the spinach dip was way over salted. Once our meals came 4 total the 2 burger orders where ok. The 1 didn't have any quinoa even though supposed to. The other 1 the chicken was burnt like it been reheated 3 or 4 times. The onion rings on top was also burnt and greasy. Was supposed to have gravy but alas there was none. What used to be a decent chain restaurant to go to now is Not. Both my kids use to work at Applebee's and ate there weekly. Doubtful will eat here again. Place was dead for a Friday night at 9 pm. This place was great. New and much nicer than other Applebees, however quite small. We were sat immediately. It was pretty busy. I liked the idea of the computer pads at the tables but the wait staff seemed annoyed with it and whoever came up with it did not have a good advertising pitch for it as far a uses. You can order from it, request a drink or your server and play games while you wait. Defeats the purpose of having a server really. I haven't been to an Applebees in probably 5 years and they ditched the old menu to the looks of it. Good thing. Much simpler menu, clean cut. We ordered the spinach artichoke dip for an app. Nothing phenomenal. It was ok. Bread instead of chips would've been better. We did have to wait for about 25 minutes for our food. Nothing good conversation couldn't kill. I had the 4 cheese mac and peppered chicken. It was awesome! Great taste and hot! Just wanted to give an update to my last review. The Applebee's manager received my complaint that I left on their website, which corporate received and the manager of the Greensburg location called me, heard me out and offered an apology. He explained to me how they do things, which was bot done the right way the night I was there, but I really did appreciate him reaching out to me. I don't hold grudges and their food is good so in the future I'll most likely go back to this location. I just wanted it to be recognized that your voice can be heard, and mine was and I am very appreciative of that. I accepted their apology and that goes a long way. read more

Came in the restaurant, The music was so loud that the hostess couldn't hear how many in my party. This was for Lunch! Was waited on by Emily. terrible waitress!!! She very visibly could see I was having difficulty hearing her, but did not lower the music or raise her voice. I ordered a angry orchard beverage, she asked if I would like a glass? I said "yes". Emily comes back to the table with no glass. There was also no placemats to rest your silverware on.! Great! I had to order off of my phone because of no menus handed to us! I want to start off by saying I went here two times recently. One of those times was last week and the other was tonight. Both wonderful experiences, except the trip to Applebee's tonight had a different ending. To set the scene our party included me, my sister, and my best friend (this is who the rest of this story is about). So we ordered dessert this evening and it was delicious. Couldn't have asked for a better lava cake and my friend (for privacy reasons we will name her "Gayle") ordered a wonderful blue ribbon brownie dessert. We all enjoyed them to the full extent and the service (on both occasions) was wonderful. When we get home Gayle and I decided to go on our evening stroll through the neighborhood, as we would any other evening. This is wear it gets interesting. Gayle is currently in the bathroom (as i'm writing this) because of the dessert she consumed from Applebee's. She's probably been in there for a good 15 minutes at this point. I am getting texts from Gayle reading: "My stomach just made the loudest noise ever" and "it sounded like the sink sucking down water when it's full". Okay update! Breaking news! she is back and said, "that was not a normal bathroom experience". i'm not going to get into the details; I'll leave that up to your imagination but... Moral of the story, if you don't want to end up like Gayle with digestive issues, may I suggest skipping dessert? read more

I have not been to Applebee's for a while. I love this restaurant. I had an awesome (but not spicy enough for me) blazzin texas burger. I lived the brisket on there. Jalapeños gave a little kick to it. I wish that there were more jalapeños on it. The food came really fast. The staff was very friendly and attentive from beginning to end. I will definitely be back. Applebee's is our go to place to eat when we are not familiar with an area. The steak is always the way I order it and we're fans of the 2 for $27 menu. Drinks are always good. It was a busy night in Greensburg and we had a little wait but our server keep checking with us to make sure we were ok. read more

This Applebees is in the old location of the Pepperwood Restaurant (terrific place!!!). Was to an Applebees years ago in Mt Pleasant and enjoyed it. Exact opposite here. Ordered the Bourbon Steak - medium. Arrived after a long time (not busy either) and was well done. The waitress graciously took it back and the manager even came by. When the next one arrived, it appeared to be cooked more to medium. As I ate it I realized that it did not even taste like any steak I have had - and I eat a fair amount of steak. This one appeared to be precooked in water??? Had nooooo taste at all and was water on my plate afterwards! Also ordered a Long Island Iced Tea and it was very weak (maybe just iced tea - no booze).
