Our server (ADRIAN) was amazing. His vibe was immaculate. In my opinion I feel like he should get a raise.

Me and my husband decided to give this place another chance since we had $60 gift cards from Xmas to use. BIG mistake :( We met up after work, he was there first and had ONE beer and i showed up shortly after, ordered one drink from the bartender. Mind you there was literally about 5 people at the bar and maybe 5 tables occupied. Another table of 4 sat next to us about 15min after i got there and one other guy on the right side of me. We asked the bartender if we could get our app order in and she responds, I'm getting off my shift but so in so will be right with you. (the waitress was already taking the table that came in after us orders) We were not addressed ONE time by any of the staff in that place. uuuhhhhgggg (needless to say, 30min in we were beyond frustrated) we counted 5 wait staff a manager, assist manager and greeter girl. NOT shitting you, they ALL disappeared in the back for a good 5min... We called the manager over with our check, and asked what the deal was with this poor service and recommended some serious re-training (All he said was sorry, heard) REALLY???? Wait staff great, however food subpar. Ordered 2 steak dinners, meat and veggies were good, but ordered mashed potatoes and they were more like pureed potatoes. Very runny and tasteless. I hope it was just a shift change time around 330pm. If this the new potato I will not be coming back as food is declining. read more

I been an applebees customer for 20 years. They got new owners about 12 years ago and it's been going down hill sense then. The one on bell and grand is pretty bad. Food not done right and they don't make the perfect margarita correctly. So we started going to the one on Litchfield in good year. The food is better and most the time they make the perfect margarita correctly. Last visit not good. Food didn't come out right so we told the server. She took it back and didn't ask for a rush on it, so I ate my meal while wife watched. She finally got her food 20 minutes later. No manager to say sorry. Was still charged for a side of ranch. Lol. So if you eat at Applebees be cautious the food and service is always hit or miss. read more

Folks and I last minute stopped here for lunch. We haven't been to an Applebees in awhile but weren't expecting much. We just wanted to sit and eat. If I wanted to spend $70 on lunch, I would have gone somewhere that had actually decent food and service. That price is not including tip and we didn't even order alcohol. Place was clean enough though none of the hand sanitizers were working. I don't see how anyone is actually social distanced either since people are still jammed in booths next to each other with plexiglass between. There must be a spice shortage because there wasn't a single grain of salt on my salmon, my dad's burger, or any of the side dishes. The combo appetizer was fine. Our waitresses (we had three for some reason?) seemed a little unorganized and only gave us two place settings and when we asked for a third, they just handed us one plate. No silverware. We had to ask a separate server for silverware for my dad. They refilled two of our drinks but not mine. They didn't even ask and I couldn't find them to wave them down either. They showed up to take drink orders, bring food, and do one refill (and not all the drinks??). They didn't ask if we wanted dessert. I am pretty disappointed and I went in with low expectations of microwaved food. Will not be returning. read more

Very good service at this location. Applebees menu is basically the same at all restaurants I've been to so pretty much if you've been to one you've been to them all. However service can vary and I was pleased by the bar staff at this location. I like Applebees when I am eating by myself and want a seat at a bar. read more

I have not been to an Applebee's in awhile. The menu has changed but it still had a LOT of choices to pick from. We were not aware of the 2 for $20 deal until the 2nd to the last page of the menu. Why not? Got the Southern BBQ boneless chicken for the appetizer. The BBQ was not too bad. The chicken was crispy and juicy. I ordered the chicken tenders with fries and the hubby ordered the three cheese penne with chicken. The chicken tenders were a little on the dry side. I'm not someone who likes to be making bad reviews unless they are earned. Came out to eat and have some drinks with friends and turns out they cut our night short. They didn't take my friends ID only because it was damaged, the ID was whole, clear, showed the birthday and picture, it just had a crack. We asked if showing the DMV app ID (government official ID app) was accepted and they also refused to take that one. On Tuesday at 3pm my party placed a mobile order. We picked 15 minutes later. The food was horrible. It looked and tasted like reheated leftovers. My burger was so bad I spit it out and tossed it. Tried calling the restaurant only to be put on hold. Really disappointed that as the price of food goes up the service seems to go down but they have no issue asking for a 20% tip. The food was very good. Beware tho that they nickel and dime you for everything. I ordered a different side. I ordered onions rings instead of mashed potatoes. 5 average sized onion rings arrived and after I saw the receipt I was charged $3.99 extra for a "premium side" they called it. Also not a lot of salad dressing arrived on my salad so I asked for a little more. I got charged .50cents extra for the tiny amount of dressing. If you go here just keep your wallet open so you can pay for the extras. Also it was nicely lite when we arrived and then all of a sudden the lights got real,real dim and stayed that way. My almost a senior eyes had a hard time reading the menu. So maybe keep your walled open to pay for extras and carry a flashlight to see the menu. I can tell who ever owns this one isn't putting any money into it. It looks a little run down and those bathrooms look run down. Also I would have liked to pay at a kiosk. As someone who had my identity stolen while paying with my card a couple years ago I like keeping my card with me. Decent food. Service was greatly lacking. Came around 1230 on a Tuesday - the place was dead but it still took a long time to get food (salad) and a water refill. The food was VERY skimpy. Also asked about a military discount for a couple people in the party, but was given the run around that the "electronic" system would only let 1 person get the discount regardless of the fact we had 6 people in the party with 3 discounts. When the server was asked how to make the discount happen for all the military members you would have thought I asked what the meaning of life is. Horrible. Adrian was our server and he did amazing. Without him, I probably wouldn't have given the place 5 stars. My daughter and sister ordered Shirley temples and there was not enough grenadine and he brought them a side of grenadine out and the next time they ordered drinks he made sure there was extra grenadine and cherries. We ordered mozzarella sticks for an appetizer and they were good. I ordered chicken and shrimp with mushrooms, onions, and mashed potatoes as my entree. The mashed potatoes came out warm and they were old (there were dry clumps in the masked potatoes). I told Adrian and he told me he would have a new batch out for me immediately. I asked for a side of gravy and he said they didn't have gravy but he would bring a side of butter. Sure enough, the fresh mashed potatoes came out hot with a side of butter and it was so much better. He was also very attentive to our drinks and got us refills as soon as he noticed we were low on a drink. He informed us about all the promos and everything. He had a great sense of humor as well. The restaurant is too dark. The service took forever and the food was blah. We asked for lemon water and never got the Lemon even asked multiple times. (I'm sure they charge extra for lemon too) We had 4 cheese mac that had no cheese it was just a bland sauce. We had chicken Alfredo with broccoli with very little broccoli and even less sauce but I refused to pay an extra $1 for a side of sauce. We also ordered a cheese burger that was definitely sitting for a while is was room temp, dry, and overcooked. We also ordered the chicken and shrimp and I have never been so unsatisfied. And forget about for asking for anything as you'll never see your server and they charge for everything! I swear everything was oh that's an up charge, or that's extra. Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if ketchup was extra as well. The only thing not extra is the upset atomic and food poisoning that comes later. Won't be going back. My sister, nephew, and I went to Applebee's on Tuesday night for a quick bite to eat. We arrived around 6:45 pm and were told that it would be a few minute wait to be seated. Within a few minutes the hostess came by to seat us. Our server greeted us promptly and told us she would be back in a few minutes to take our drink orders. Since we were short on time we had our entrée's selections ready when our server returned. We all ordered Pepsi to drink. My sister and I ordered the sirloin with a loaded mashed potatos and rice. My nephew had the classic burger with fries, and we shared honey BBQ wings for an appetizer. About 10 minutes passed, before our server brought our drinks to the table. The Pepsi tasted flat so we asked our server for a different drink selection, Sierra Mist. Another 10 minutes passed before our server brought our soft drinks to the table, however the Sierra Mist was also flat. So we opted for water. Another 12 or 15 minutes pass before our appetizer was brought to the table. The honey bbq wings were drenched in bbq sauce, soggy, and just didn't taste good. We wait some more, and finally our entrée's arrive. I notice that the loaded mashed potato were not hot, but only a bit warm and the rice is crunchy and over cooked. The steak that I ordered medium rare is more like well done, dry, and lacked any seasoning. My sisters entree was as bad as mine and my nephews burger was absolutely dry and lacked and type of flavor. Our server does not come back for quite some time. Again we are in a hurry. I try to eat my meal, and I actually finished about 1/3 of my entree when I decided to just pay my bill and leave. Finally, our server comes back, asked if my nephew still wanted a refill on his drink that we ordered 20 minutes prior, or if we wanted take out boxes for our entrée's. My family of 5 went out for dinner a little later than normal. We had to wait for a table, which we understood. Then we were told that they had a hi top open if we wanted to sit down sooner. Since it was 7:30 we agreed so we could get our kids fed and home to bed since they have school tomorrow. I think 8 o'clock must be a magic time for their bar area, because all of a sudden the music got louder and filled with lust and foul language. We hadn't even gotten our food when the first few songs were played this way. We took a couple of bites when our food came out, then packed up and quickly left. I couldn't keep my kids in that atmosphere. While I do believe that Applebee's has the right to play whatever music they want in their bar, they should also have a rule not to seat kids in that area if they are going to play that kind of music. Or at least not around 8 o'clock when they turn it into more of a bar atmosphere. We will definitely not be going back for dinner if we go out late, but honestly, at this moment I don't feel like we will be going back to Applebee's at all any time soon. It's too bad there isn't a policy in place that prevents something like this from happening. read more

The only reason I'm giving a bad review was for the fact during our meal we constantly kept hearing "shut up!" and we thought it was a customer. But later we heard, "we don't need that" "shut up" and it was coming from the kitchen. The servers looked irritated and I honestly felt bad for them but the service was excellent.
