Great food and staff. Come see for yourself, I was very impressed with the drinks and food. Very spot on. The prices and specials are very reasonable. If you have a stay at one of the hotels around here or if you are living around here come check it out. read more

Bottom Line: It's not so bad I know that doesn't sound like a rousing endorsement but it kind of is. I love to experiment and explore when I travel. I want to find the unique taco place or the mom and pop Italian restaurant. But when I'm somewhere and just want to grab something to eat and an Applebee's is convenient - I know I'm going to get consistent decent food. AND the best deal ever - they have $10 bottles of wine. It's just the "House" Chardonnay or Cabernet - but for $10 it's a great deal in my book! I did the 2 for $25 with a friend. One of us had the Meat & Potatoes and one had the Mac & Cheese with Chicken tenders. Both dishes were just average. I probably wouldn't order either one again - but I wasn't mad and didn't feel like I got gyped. One friend had a burger that looked great and she enjoyed it. My other friend got a Chicken Wrap that she loved. I'll go back and have my wine and try something else. Bottom Line: affordable, average food that I would go again when it's convenient. read more

Due to the limited selection in the area, we decided to go to Applebees. Turns out, this is a great place to go if you are not hungry and simply want to socialize. Took 10 minutes to get drink order in, then 10 minutes to get said drinks. The appetizer we ordered is still MIA to this day. The food did arrive about an hour after we sat down. We were completely dissatisfied to say the least. Update: turns out the manager let everyone go leaving 2 servers to fend off the crowd that was continuing to grow. When you are the only place open to eat after 10PM, I would expect a crowd to show up. Just saying... read more

Last visit to Applebees was very disappointing. We ended up leaving without any service after being seated. It was a Thursday afternoon around 2pm and after waiting at our table for over 15 minutes without anyone coming to take a drink order, food order, or even recognize that we were there we left. For a company who is based on service POOR JOB! read more

i ordered take out, the food was ok, nothing to rant or raved about. The waitress who took my order was not that friendly, i was standing there waiting for at least 20 mins, i even tipped her for taking my oder, you would think she would offer me a glass of water, but she didn't. read more

Applebee's Grill + Bar - 3 for $20, i'm NOT eat this all at once!!! Haha Apple wood smoked bbq riblets, boneless buffalo chicken, grilled chix pasta - American Near Me - Florence, Kentucky

Visited on a Thursday night at about 11. Our waitress was great - friendly, courteous, helpful. The food was mediocre and the really bad karaoke was just painful. read more

I can not figure if I should call this restaurant Applebees or AppleDUMP! I remember when Applebees came in town over 20 years ago. My first place I ever ate wings, they were fresher, thicker and juicer. Now there dryer, smaller and freezer burnt...aarrgg. I am so dissatisfied with Applebees. There main dishes even gone down hills. There portions are smaller. And most taste bland. Come on Applebees. The only highlight, is there $2 happy hour tall beers. I got to admit. They have not change the prices in years. This place is only good place to socialize and get drunk. Service is ok. read more

I brought my family after bringing my grand kids to Defy for a good meal. Heard about the double crunch wings. So 5 adults 3 kids and my 4 month old grandson in his carrier. Took awhile to get started but whatever. We ordered appetizers and food at same time. Nothing complicated. Wings come out. Fatty and gross. Whatever my daughter salmon is dry. We send it back. My hamburger and my son in laws hamburger come out, so gross that neither of us can finish. My Grandson. No pizza. We send back the salmon. New salmon comes out...Completely raw... all throughout the middle. My grandson. Finally gets a cheese Pizza. All during sitting here deferent servers are constantly bringing food to our 2 tables asking who has this plate of food. Well it was no one at out table. My grandson is finally ready to start eating his pizza, when guess what here comes another pizza that btw too 30 min for him to get the 1st one. All out food came out staggered. None hot. I spent $100 bucks on foot and tip and I promise will NEVER come here and neither should you. read more

Been coming to this location with co-workers for happy hour after work until I took a job back in Cincinnati. I hadn't been to this location in about a year but my friend suggested we go back for old times sake. I was happy to see there had been some slight renovations particularly at the bar. My friend had already gotten a table for us so I didn't have to wait to be seated. Our waitress came and took our drink orders and then we waited....and waited for the drinks to come. We waited a long time for almost everything which is a far cry from the great service we used to receive. Our waitress was friendly and provided good service when she did take the time to come and check on us. I cannot say the same for the rest of the staff. We were brought dirty appetizer plates and then our waitress disappeared for quite a while. I finally stopped another server who looked absolutely appalled when I asked for new plates, brushed me off with a nod and kept walking. The food was okay, drinks were weak, and we left deciding it's probably time to find a better happy hour spot. read more

My partner and I made a decision that we will never come to this place I can after I first experience was incredibly negligent with service and The Taste and make up the food and also our conversation with management was immensely the satisfying, we're tired of leaving this place both hungry and unresolved. I don't recommend coming to this place not even for the drinks, there is a very careless attitude there and I'm sure it trickles down to the cleanliness of of the restaurant overall. I would give them 0 stars but it's not an option. I'm not sure if it's because where gay or because we're an interracial couple but every time we've come here the service is absolutely terrible. Don't waste your time or your money. Not even in takeout. read more

I had not been to an Applebee's in quite some time. We used to regularly visit the one in Findlay, Ohio when I lived there. We were wanting to try something different for Saturday night dinner after church. My husband had been at Applebee's in Perrysburg a few weekends before. He had the steak and said it was very good. My son, who is quite the picky eater, just started eating steak and now is becoming a steak aficionado. He has had steaks Boi Na Braza, Hard Rock Café, Texas Roadhouse, Longhorn Steakhouse, Quaker Steak. He then ranks them. He had the 8 oz sirloin and puts it in 2nd place. I had one small bite because it did look very tender and it was. He gets his medium well and many times it is dried out, but not this one, it was tender and juicy plus no red which he likes. I am not a huge steak person, but it was pretty good. Now on the flip side, my daughter and I had the Bourbon Street Chicken and Shrimp and it was AMAZING. So good and only 610 calories! We were both full. I will definitely get it again. The garlic butter was divine. The chicken and shrimp were tender. The red potatoes had a nice crispy crust but soft on the inside. Oh my goodness, so good. We were able to walk right in and be seated. Kimberly our waitress stayed right on top of our drinks and checked on us quite often. Rick the GM and one of the other managers even came around to make sure we were good. Oh and I forgot about the spinach and artichoke dip! We were going to get chips and salsa (didn't really need the salsa, my son wanted chips). Kimberly suggested my daughter and I get the 2 for $25 deal and then we could get the spinach & artichoke dip with chips with the deal for free. Note - chips were refillable, #bonus! I am not a huge fan of spinach and artichoke, but oh my, that was tasty. My daughter and my husband enjoyed it too, which says a lot for my hubby to like something with spinach & artichoke, that tells you it is not a strong flavor. Overall a really enjoyable experience and delicious meal. We will definitely be back! read more

This is probably the only Applebees I've ever been too but I'm pretty sure they're all the same. However I have driven by the one in Crestview Hills several times and it always looks way busier there so I'm sure the service is better at the one in Florence, or it's at least less busy which I like. The food is good, but a bit pricey in my opinion, unless you get something that have on sale. Like sometimes they have a 2 for 20.00 deal where you can go in and get 2 meals and an appetizer for 20.00. The only other time I like to go is during happy hour, when drinks and appetizers are half off. They have one thing that I really love, and that's the quesadilla burger! I've gotten it quite a few times and sometimes it's made better than others, but it's always really good so I definitely recommend it! read more

I think it's fair to say that Applebees is never somewhere you want to go--you end up there. If it weren't for very good happy hour specials, I wouldn't bother. Happy hour is from 3-7p and 9-close. Half off drinks (beer, wine, liquor) and half off select appetizers including wings, spinach dip, onion rings, and mozz sticks. Pretty hard to beat. A couple of apps and drinks will cost you around $15. You won't find anything close to that at Chili's or the like. Food is all ok. I always get the wings, hot with blue cheese. Wings are dry and the sauce is mild at best. It's hard to complain, though, with those prices. read more

I'm a regular at this particular Applebee's but my God if they don't clean the booger's off the women's stalls I'm gonna call the health department myself read more

Had reservations of coming here so decided to sit at the bar...just so we could have some type of quality service. The bartender, Anthony was outstanding...he was very attentive (despite all other tables he was attending as well). Honestly I can see why the service here received bad reviews...I haven't seen a bartender have to service outside tables---beyond the bar in quite sometime. Overall, Anthony handled it well. Overall glad we sat at the bar read more

Worst experience ever! I went after my kids graduation on May 30th. It was super crowded but it's always crowded on Thursday at this particular location. We got seated pretty quick(there were 3 of us). Things went down hill from there. We ordered 4 appetizers that took 20 minutes to arrive. Our food took another 20+ minutes. We ordered wings the leaded fajita and chicken fettuccine. As soon as I tasted my "fajita" I spit it out. It was not only soggy but it tatse burnt. It didn't look but- but the taste was definitely there. My son was kind of full by time his fettachini arrived; so he took a few bites of the noodles and requested a box for his meal. The fettachini was ice cold but since we were just taking it home instead of eating it there..we just boxed it up.My meal was replaced with chicken fettuccine- which took another 25 minutes to arrive on top of the 40 minutes we've already waited on food. I opted to just box it up as soon as it came because my kids were tired and falling at the table from the long day. Fast forward to the next day(May 31st). My son and I decide to eat our left overs. Both fettachini dishes had that same burnt taste in the chicken. I don't know..if they burnt something on the grill that night..and neglected to clean it or what..?? But EVERYTHING that touched it- tasted charred in a very bad way. I expect better for spending almost $80 for 3 people(only food). I'm sure I could not have been the only one complaining about the burnt taste. The manager never came to the table either. The whole experience was just awful!! read more

Ordered an appetizer combo and left after waiting 45 minutes without receiving it. All of the servers continued to ignore me after numerous attempts to get their attention. read more

Our waitress was very impolite and rude, saying whatever came up to her mind. When we ordered a medium rare steak, they gave us raw meat. Medium rare is supposed to have a pink center not look like an injured cow. We asked for a few more minutes on the grill and they came back with a black burnt piece of meat. It tasted like a shoe sole. They have no clue how to cook steaks and need to CKECK themselves and their definitions of rare, medium and medium well. read more

The food was good, people behind us were drunk and staring at us and talking about us under their breath for the whole meal. They kept loudly talking about sexual encounters and about having to purge their meal when they got home. Overall it put us off and left a bad taste in our mouthes. The waitress was nice about it though, offered to get the manager involved. We just left peacefully though. The ringleader of the group was still in her Cracker Barrel uniform too. If you're going to be disrespectful at least do it out of uniform. read more

Terrible place! Customer service is awful! If they are running things like this yeah should just stop all together. I wanted to leave and waiting 10 mins to be spoken to @ the bar. For the bartender to point across the store and say "the menus are over there". I left. read more

Stopped in today for the all you can eat ribs. The staff was friendly and was promptly seated and served but from there it went down hill. The waitress forgot our beverages and when the food was served it was lukewarm to cold. I dont know what animal the ribs came from but there were 3 pieces of "ribs". They were cold in the middle and the sauce looked to be just poured over them. The taste I can not describe, not sure what they tasted like but not like a bbq rib. Half way though my waitress did bring me another plate of "ribs" and fries. They were HOT this time. read more

Absolutely esquisite appetizer platter will def be returning to this phenomenal establishment soon

At first thought, I thought this place was run down, bland, and too old for the times. Until I went there recently: in which I learned the reciprocal. This place has some wonderful options! I recommend the Cedar Grilled Lemon Chicken. By far the best option. Their fries are quite good and I'm sure there are even more wonderful choices. read more

Service was decent but i got that Fiesta Lime Chicken and i was most definitely not satisfied. My family all enjoyed their food, so maybe this just isn't the best item on the menu. Maybe i'll try this place again since my family enjoyed their food and the service was decent. read more

Sooooo.....me and my son decided that we wanted to eat something other than fast food after our mommy and son date at the movies and we chose Applebee's for dinner. After we were seated and there for more than 5 minutes some ladies came in and sat at a table that was diagonal from us...within two minutes of them being seated they were greeted by their (our) waiter. He asked them if they were comfortable and if they wanted something to drink. He left and placed in their drink orders and them proceeded to wiped down some tables...totally ignoring me and my son. I then got up and asked for a manager. He apologized profusely and sent us another server (cause I told him I didn't want the other guy anymore). The food was delicious and they were then very attentive. read more

We resorted to this Applebee's because nothing else was open. Which may be why it was so bad. It was the Sunday night before Labor Day. We were staying in a neighboring hotel, and I called to pace a Pick-up. They didn't answer so I just went over. I placed my order at 10:20p and received my food at 11:15p. I was too hungry to ask for a refund. Just go somewhere else to eat, they can't keep up and obviously really struggle in the kitchen. read more

I had a gift card so I figured I'd use it... but I'm definitely never going back. Took 15 minutes to get our drinks, 25 minutes before we could order our food (and we had to ask if we could), almost an hour to get our food out, we were only refilled one time, and the steak I had requested to be cooked medium was cooked well done. We were there for almost two hours. I don't normally complain, but seriously, save your money. Utter waste of time, service, and the food was awful (though I guess I don't know what I expected). read more

I would not recommend this place. If you have more than two beers, the management will cut you off. Seriously, even if your designated driver is with you, they will question what you are drinking. Great service and our food was very good. Chicken parmigiana was too large to finish. I had a salad and baked potato on a busy Wednesday night after 10 pm and was impressed with the fresh food. The best thing about this location are the bartenders. Applebee's is Applebee's it's not take out but it's not a fancy restaurant but Justin and Jessica are the regular weekend bartenders and they are great! It's nice to have bartenders that you get to know. Originally I started going here for happy hour over other restaurants in Florence because they are non-smoking. Now that I've gotten to know the staff it's a great option all the time to sit at the bar and watch some games! read more

If I have read all these previous reviews from other customers, then I would not came here for dinner. I should had came to Longhorn or Outback Steak house. I came here for dinner today and ordered half baby back ribs. The kitchen guy brought out the food was absolutely cold. The baby back ribs was cook either early today with BBQ sauce on the top and brought it out. I only have a few bites and stop eating. I told the waiter about it. The manager came out and told me that she will give me a discount. Honestly, I did not care about the discount. I care about the food quality and great customer service. The manager gave me the bill $10.05. I just put out $20.00 and left. Will never return again. read more
