We were seated right away which was very unusual. They took our drink order right away, then the server changed we waited a while for the drinks we ordered an appetizer and i ordered my soup. they forgot the soup as i asked them about it then here came the food.. i wasnt happy about that. but they had like 4 birthdays so its ok. the food was great. read more

I've been coming to this particular Applebee's since I was young. It was a ritual for my family to meet up with one another at this restaurant, and we never had any complaints about it. The food was always good, the waiters were always friendly, and when they first implemented it the car side to go was efficient. Now, though, things have taken a turn. It's really luck of the draw whether or not you'll get a decent waiter. Hostesses don't greet you and more often than not the waiters or waitresses just have a lackluster pre planned speech and don't offer so much as an extra smile with their service. That doesn't bother me much, though, because I don't particularly want to talk to them beyond the necessary either. All in all, I like Applebee's. I like the food, I like the atmosphere, and I like that the prices are fairly decent (although in recent years prices have gone up for smaller portions, particularly in appetizers. That's a franchise thing, though, so it can't exactly be blamed on this particular Applebee's) Where this Applebee's loses with me is in its car side to go. In the past year I've gone the car side route a handful of times and each time it takes them a good fifteen minutes to even acknowledge me. The food is never done at the time they say to come pick it up, and at least half the time your order is wrong. In short, I love you Applebee's but you've got to step it up! read more

We're visiting from out of state for our grandmother's 94th birthday. She chose to come here because she likes simple and easy places.. long story short this was the worst Applebee's that I have ever been to the service was so slow that by the time we sat at our table we were waiting 15 minutes for our drinks then on top of that it took about 40 minutes for our food in total to come out there was only 4 of us! Then the steak my mom ordered was way over cooked she couldn't even chew it. By the way it was only 3:15 in the afternoon with nobody here. My grandmother ordered a pork chop told the waitress that she didn't want any glaze and when she got the pork chop it was too spicy with glaze. Then on top of that we asked for them at the beginning when we first walked in that we wanted them to sing and bring out for ice cream for her birthday that never happened. I never write bad reviews especially for places like Applebee's but out of all the states that I've been to this was absolutely the worst place for service. read more

So you have to wonder if Applebee's Corp ever pays attention to any of there reviews. It's obvious and apparent that when there is no one holding anyone accountable the service and food qualities go down. I can tell you guys that my waitress was not good and the manager was no where to be seen unless it was to change the channel to a football game. This will probably never change. Terrible. No one to seat us. One meal came out cold after 20 mins. Had to go to bar and ask for drinks bc waitress hardly around. Asked for manager who was almost never on floor. She discounted one meal which after taking over 40 mins to get food right was pretty minimal. Called corporate. Got the managers manager who wasn't at all helpful. Keep justifying poor service. "Well did you ask for a manager. Well did you try to tell her again you weren't satisfied with the resolution" i told him just how many times was i supposed to keep running someone down. He told me he'd go back and check the video to see. Anything but the customer is always right. Avoid. He should read these reviews and get himself on the floor until that place is straightened out. read more

I'm only giving this a 5 star because there wings from Monday thru Thursday after 9pm cost 39 cents per wing and even tho compared to wing stop these wings are shit there still good and you get what you paid for. Restaurant services other wise is incredibly horrible. Waitresses are super bitchy and rude and won't pay no attention to you if you don't look like your going to tip a lot. The bartender there is awesome tho. So if your not getting wings there to go stay away from this horrible Applebee's. read more

First time to this Applebee's just arrived in El Paso.and was seated ok .was told Tito was my server he never came a lady with a clip board and if I needed something to drink .water came.after like 15 min I ask for my server and steven came and everything started coming thru.im going to give this place another try.another time .bad first impression. read more

Sat down to eat tonight around 9:20pm. It took ~12 minutes for the waiter to take our drink order. I don't normally time waiters, but after I actually took notice it was taking unusually long for them to take our order, I counted the mildly annoying music videos playing on the screen next to our table. It took 4 videos and into the start of the 5th. Drinks took nearly another 10 solid minutes, and then they took our food order. It was 10:15 when they served our food. The waiter offered a lame excuse that the cooks were new. My brisket tacos were cold, overloaded with some greasy sauce, and the brisket tasted like it came out of an MRE pouch. I'm not being intentionally unkind, that's really what came to mind when I bit into the first one. My son's steak was overcooked, as was my daughter's burger overcooked and dry. My wife's chicken alfredo was probably the most like the menu promised, and at best it was bland and pretty much could have been a TV dinner. In hindsight, we should have paid for the drinks, left after the first bite, and just got something to go elsewhere, but we were hungry and apparently not thinking clearly. I normally don't think twice about paying for a good meal, but I was actually angry when I paid for that one. We will never eat there again, and I advise you don't either. The Chili's across the street has consistently had far better service and food. read more
