The service here is good. I came here two weeks ago and ordered the country shrimp and fries and had to send it back due to been undercooked because of the atmosphere and a great bartender and drinks. I decided to give this location another try so today I ordered food to go but did sample before I left. . I'm happy I gave them another try everything was hot and fresh and nothing like my last visit 2 weeks ago. Some other glasses were dirty, but this was quickly resolved. I do have to take points away because of the condition of the facility itself and the way sneaky tactics of the bartender " cha-cha" when closing out my check . I tried two bars stools again before Choosing one with the least wobble . The owners seriously need to invest some money into this location. It is in desperate need of a Renovation. The bathrooms are dingy, dull lighting and outdated. The furniture is wobbly , bench seats have tears, and the air duck has visible dust just hanging from them in several spots on the ceiling. The bartenders service was great and she was very attentive and friendly. I did notice some cross contamination that concern me, . When refilling a drink, I was asked to remove my straw from the glass. My same glass was used with the ice in it that I had already drank off of and put my mouth on the glass . She refilled my drink in the used glass, then put the metal shaker cup over my used glass to shake the drink and brought it back to me . When a customer across from me ordered a refill she did the exact same thing using the same dirty glass from the customer and the same unwashed metal shaker, this is cross-contamination although it is alcohol you can still get someone sick and spread germs . After seeing this, I was done drinking and ready to go. but when it got time for me to close out my check, that's when things turn strange. Although at the bar near a register , she still used the handheld device and did not print an itemize check showing me what I was being charged for . She brought the device over to me and said " go ahead and tap to pay" . But I paused and stated I wanted to see what was on it. She didn't hand me a paper check, but still held up the device for me to tap. I noticed that she had pre-selected her tip on the device to the highest pre-selected percentage of 22% . I had already told myself that I was gonna tip her $10 on a $30 check which is 33% but the fact that she went in and pre-selected the highest percentage not allowing me to say what I wanted to pay her as a tip.. This was very sneaky and did not settle well with me.. also after you tap to pay the device shows you a survey and ask you to choose how your service was she quickly pulls the device back and I noticed she hit the top bar saying "excellent" Service. So she rates herself, not giving a customer the opportunity to rate her service, which is very misleading to the company.. at first I was happy with her service, but then I noticed she was a very sneaky and untrustworthy. Just think of people have been drinking in a trusting her and she's scamming them.. for higher tips. This is awful.. to management you have a good staff they just may need some additional training in cleanliness, and ethical practices. You are not getting a true glimpse of customers service with those surveys on the portable devices. Also, please consider investing in some upgrades and renovation of this location. read more

Folks, you know I don't like giving poor reviews. In this case, you really need to be warned. This location looks like it is in a DMZ. Handicapped parking was not observable (big no no). The location was almost empty on a Wednesday afternoon but service was still languid. The booth our group was crammed into was so tight, the table edge was digging into everyone's chest. Still, we grinned and bore through the indignation of the filthy seating (broken pieces of children's crayons were in every crevice of the cushions. On FOUR occasions during this single visit, our server has to return to tell us they were out of (barbecue sauce, Sprite, lemonade, and honey mustard). Food was salty to the point that my wife literally quit eating. Her wing bites had the knowing leathery texture of being over microwaved. My pretzel appetizer had a slightly funky odor. I don't know if they were old, nearly spoiled, or cooked in a filthy kitchen. One positive was at least our server took my hint and accepted my credit card before the rest of the table realized (as eldest son, of course I was paying). It's Applebees we know you can't ask for much but I think a decent table should be too much to ask. I kept going from booth to booth to find one that wasn't beat up, dirty, had ripped seats or sticky. We settled for a sticky one and asked to have it wiped down but it's just caked on half the tables so it didn't come up. I covered it with napkins. It also took awhile for us to get greeted and get our food. I was annoyed the whole time until my bill came then suddenly it wasn't so bad lol. $65?! lol. Curbside is a option from the menu. I actually tip some one $2.00 thinking that my food would be brought out to me in my vehicle. That did not happen! I called a total of 3 times. 2 times no one picked up the phone when I pressed 3 for associate or manager. 3 time the operator tried and no one answered the phone again. Service was terrible at carside togo. I called in and the waitress said no one can bring my food out because she was the only one working the desk. She said I had to wait 15 minutes for someone to bring it out. I go inside and 3 people are already waiting. There were several people in the back. We were immediately seated and the kids were given crayons and an activity/kids menu, but then waited 10 minutes for the server to take our drink orders. The server was very knowledgeable of the menu and didn't seem to need to write our order down on paper. She was polite and greeted us with a smile. She seemed pretty attentive throughout. She is the only reason this review didn't get a one star. About 5 minutes later she came back with our drink orders, but forgot my wife's margarita. We asked for no cheese on the burger, but it looked like they cooked it with cheese and then forgot and removed it from the burger. We had to re-order a new burger because my daughter has dietary restrictions. Also, the kids side orders were swapped. The food seemed alittle overpriced , considering all I ordered was chicken and some waffle fries for $11.99. Here we are on a Tuesday night because my toddler wanted to try "Applebox." I try to stay away from most Applebees due to their tendency of mediocre food and very slow service. But this location has improved drastically since end of 2017. Our server was very nice and engaging with my 4 and 1 year old, and our food did not take long to come out. The food is still pretty mediocre. We got the 2 for $20 meal which comes with an appetizer (or 2 salads) and two entrees you can select from a limited list. And kids eat for only $.99 on Tuesday nights, so they got the corndog and chicken tenders, each coming with a side and drink. Not a bad deal. We got the burger with onion rings and grilled lemon chicken. The burger was good, but a bit too much breading on the oily onion rings. The chicken was a bit dry and was not a fan of the sauce or cranberries in the rice. For appetizer, the mozzarella sticks were okay. Overall, not a bad dining experience and will likely return on Tuesday evenings for their 99 cents kid meals. read more

I truly should have looked at the reviews before I placed an order for delivery. I will never patronize this business again. I placed my delivery order directly with Applebee's which was the first mistake. The Manager and Regional Manager Sean Ledford are nothing, but lip service. I place an order On February 13th my total order including tip, delivery etc. was a total of $74.65 and one item was missing a kids meal for $5.49. All I want is my refund for the item I did not receive, but these Manager by there action do not think it is important. I notified the company on February 13th and to this day I still have not received my refund for $5.49 plus taxes. I will never purchase from Applebee's again! read more
