The service was amazing! Every staff member had a smile and great attitude making the atmosphere so welcoming! They took care of my family so well. The food was delicious and exactly what I was looking for taste and quality wise! Had a great great lunch at Applebee's and they gave my daughter balloons! read more

This Applebees was very clean and the food came out quickly. They seemed to follow all the franchise protocols and my dad and I ended up rolling out of there full. If you come here as a regular or someone passing by, you'll be happy read more

First I have ever been there and I must say the food was okay not great but they are on top of game for liquor.

Food is okay but not for the overpriced menu! Beers are over priced, it's cool they do half off appetizers after some time. I just don't think I will be back for mid food and overpriced. read more

Arranged for a friend of mine who passed away during his heart transplant, girlfriend and her kids to have dinner and celebrate two birthdays. Adam the manager and his staff helped make it a special evening with great food and service. They helped me arrange to pay for the dinner and accommodate Kathleen the daughter who is confined to a wheelchair. I know my friend Keith loved all of them and would be happy that I could do this for them. Memories of a lifetime were created that evening. I miss you Keith, you may be gone but never forgotten. Thank you to the entire Applebees staff. Rich from Santa Rosa, Ca read more

Dinner at Applebees during the pandemic. PA is semi open but the area was pretty empty. Happy to say the service was excellent and the food was pretty good as well. The restaurant is typical Applebees with every other table blocked off right now. Food was reasonably priced and they offered a Veteran's discount, which made me happy. read more

Honestly I have never been in any Applebee's with a person taking care of our table so professional, attentive and lovely like the lady who was attending us today. I'm always moving interstate, that means I'm always eating outside and tonight this girl made our night different. We were in our way to Chicago and we stopped to eat and our dinner was amazing thanks to this girl; her name is Jessie and she make us feel we want to go back to Applebee's. Each location needs a Jessie. Food was super good also. read more

Decent location off of 80 in a section of PA where there aren't a lot of convenient choices to make a quick stop. Waiter friendly and food decent. Nothing memorable. Good or bad. We'd stop again. read more

We were happy to get take out during the shut down we ordered online & let them know the exact time we would be there, unfortunately they had our order ready sitting at a table near the back door when I arrived so we paid got our food & ate in the car, our food was cold like it had been sitting with those other 2 orders for 10 mins. I'd have been happy to wait 5-10 mins while my order finished cooking or was being boxed up from sitting under heat lamps so it was warm but nope cold, everything fries, burgers, appetizers, soft pretzels, & chicken tenders. Drinks were perfect because they were suppose to be cold. So while the food was good it was cold. I'll be happy when you can dine in again to be sure to get hot food again. read more

Good food, friendly staff. Glad we stopped! Thank you for your hospitality. Food Was cooked to order restaurant was clean, updated and had cute fall decor. read more

The waiters/waitress are always amazing here (I mean their food is great too esp the boneless wings), but Tessa is the most amazing waitress here! She is so genuine and personal and on top of everything. Like I said, we have never had a bad waiter here, but she was exceptional! She made the experience tonight! read more

I'm a local and although Applebee's was never a go to before, we do frequent them. Food is always good and service is always excellent. We do have our favorites Easy on and off highway and close to gas stations and Walmart read more

Incredible service and great food!!! We stopped on a whim while we were on the highway and were very impressed. Love this location

On a cold night, just after New Year's, the man and I decide to head back to the Mitten. We needed gas, weren't very tired and wanted some reliable food that would stick for the next 4 hours of our drive, at least. Applebee's in Clarion was a perfect stop. Open late-ish, until about midnight, with reliable menu items, we went in with meh expectations. The food was absolutely meh, but the service was good and after 5 hours on the road, I'll gladly take that. I don't expect much of chains, but the food got the job done. It wasn't the best meal ever, but the portions were good, it stuck for the next 4 hours and our server was sweet. This is a solid stop if you're on a road trip on 80 going east or west. It's super close to the highway, gas stations and other places of interest to those on the road. No need for more. You know? read more

I've been to Applebee's a few times in different locations because my options were quite limited while on the road. So during one of my road trips I stopped by this Applebee's for lunch. They had a lunch special going on and I had a salad and a sandwich combo. The food was very average and nothing special. I also ordered a strawberry daiquiri and it was water down. Not all Applebee's are made equal. Some are better or worse. read more

Just passing through town for a quick bite and it was delish! Haven't been to a Applebee's in a long time and it was tasty:) Christian was our waiter and he was awesome!!! Excellent customer service Thank you read more

I love Applebee's. It has good food, but right now terrible customer service and the food I received was cold. I did not complain because I will pay for what I ate, but believe me this service is the worst. When working in a restaurant service and food quality should be a given not a maybe. read more

The food here is terrible! Totally processed. I believe the kitchen only has the microwaves in it. Go to McDonald's instead. This food at Applebee's leaves a bad taste in your mouth and leave you disappointed that you had to pay for such lousy food. Applebee's is off my list won't ever go back to any Applebee's. Our silverware was dirty. But at least the waitress was quick to replace it and very friendly. read more

Service isn't the best, especially the hostesses. The food is always pretty good. I always get steak and I havent been let down yet.

Fun place for late night apps. Usually that's where we stop for the apps and the night cap. Avoid steaks but the apps are good!

Always get a hot meal here. Food good. Love the appetizers. Good drinks. Great choice on menu. Children ok here. Nice they great you at the door. Prices good. Best place to eat on this exit on I 80 in Clarion. read more

I ordered the sirloin medium rare. When it came to the table the waitress asked me to check for doneness. I was well done so took it back and the manager came back with a new steak and it was cook just right. I never had a waitress ask me to check while she stood by. Great way to do business. The side order of broccoli was obviously fresh and tasted fine. My wife was very happy with her French onion soup and stuff potatoe. The restaurant turned a negative into a positive. The waitress was competent and the draft beer was great and cold read more

Food was as good as any Applebee's, but management & service was poor & not compliant, and took way too long to get salads that weren't made to requested order. read more

Cemented my long-standing opinion of Applebee's as being awful. Tortilla chips were super salty, sirloin was rubbery and broccoli tasted like they had been nuked for 20 minutes! I would've been better off bringing a frozen dinner with me to have them microwave in the kitchen. My brother felt sick shortly after eating the pasta. How does one get sick from pasta? Service was great considering the poor waitress has to serve what she has to serve. Asked us several times how are food was and I couldn't bear to tell her the truth-she tried. Chef Mike (microwave) does it again! read more

Good cheap food for the hungry landman. Good fast service too.

I was impressed with the taste, variety and service at this location. Maybe it was the updated menu, the number of healthier options, the friendliness of our server or a combination of all of the above that turned my skepticism of eating at a seemingly generic chain restaurant into a decent dining experience. I will return. read more

From the staff opening the doors through the leaving, this Applebee's is a friendly and effortless place to eat. The food is well executed and fresh, wait staff eager to please but not pesky. We can linger, or eat and leave. We especially like the tender garlic steak and the maple- tinged pecan crusted chicken salad. If the staff do not have a ready answer to food questions they check with the kitchen to find out. Restrooms clean, restaurant clean. After many visits we have found these attributes to be consistent. read more

KD ( The wwaitress) is very good in customer service. We ordered Savory Cedar Salmon. Since we don't eat Red potato we asked to replace it with rice but The vegetables will remain. We were charged extra $1.49 for When The food arrived, its only Salmon with rice without The veggies. We complained that we need The veggies. Then we were told that The Red potatoes come with The veggies. So we asked them to give us The Red potatoes with veggies since we are payong full price plus extra for Rice. The Red potatoes came with little spinach. We ate The spinach but The Red potatoes were wasted. read more

I started out with a very long wait which was not good as there were many seats open. My waitress overall was very nice. I had the French onion soup and a brunch burger. The French onion soup was what you'd expect from an Applebee's, but it was still good. I've had much worse. On the other hand, the Brunch Burger was very good and it consists of a burger, an egg, and hash browns on the burger. 9/10, I do recommend the Brunch Burger. Over all, I would rate my experience a 4/5 read more

Great food really enjoyed our appetizers wings was delicious. Staff members had good service and polite as can be. Loved my burger came out fresh and juicy made exactly how I wanted it well-done. Place is also well maintained seems like the restaurant gets a good clean ever hour or so cause its not to dirty on the floor. read more

I was driving from Michigan to NYC and called ahead to order something to eat for dinner when I got to the Hampton in Clarion. Was going to order a salad but saw some new (to me) bowls that looked good. I asked the guy who answered the phone about the bowl (I was thinking of ordering the steak bowl - I love the oriental fried chicken salad but then saw these bowls were quite a bit less caloric than that salad) and he told me how good they are and how he has one almost every time he ends a shift. And he suggested the shrimp bowl, so I took his advice. When I got there, he talked more about how good they were, and also gave me directions to get to my hotel. He was really friendly and helpful and the bowl was terrific. I was so glad I took his recommendation, but more impressed with what a good representative he was of his employer. If there was a nomination for Applebee's national employee of the month, I'd nominate him. I think his name was Derrick. Anyway, he's exactly the type of employee any restaurant would want. read more

Normally not a fan of Applebee's for other than a drink and maybe a app. Today decided to have lunch while watching football. All I have to say is food quality has improved at this location since the last time. Bourbon Ship and Chicken with onion rings was very good! read more

I was first impressed by the speedy and attentive staff, but what really brought me to 5 stars was the cleanliness of the dining area. Specifically, the bathroom area was pristine at 3-4 pm. My least favorite restaurant in Clarion. The food is average, the prices are high & the portions are absolutely ridiculous. 3 of last 5 times I was there, they were out of what I ordered. Why did I go back 5 times, you ask? I am married & my wife likes the place. I am done with Applebees, she can go without me. read more

Average service (as to be expected in a college town), and average food. It is however clean and modern inside.

Food is good, the service is very hit or miss. Depends on which college kid is working that night. I've had mostly good experiences dining here. read more
