As for drinks, that have your basics but nothing in the way of craft beers if that is what you are looking for. Mixed drinks are also just your basics. Asked for an old fashioned and the response was, "tell me what's in it and I will give it a shot". Well, I went for a vodka and tonic. Essentially, if you are looking for a basic bar to drink and smoke then this is your bar. If you want to play pool/darts and play music on the jukebox, then this is your bar. If you do not like to smell like smoke then this is NOT your bar.

She took my food order as well and I did not have to wait long despite the large parties being served in the few other full tables in the restaurant. I ordered the steak demonico and a side salad. Our waitress was attentive and kept apologizing, but it took 1.5 - 2 hours for our whole party to get their food. Nothing that should have taken that long. Clearly, the young cook had not been trained in bar cooking. As a former bar cook, tender, waitress, I have experience in this. I blame the owner for not training them properly who incidentally came in sat at the bar for a while and then left without stepping in to help. They offer off brand cans of soda bought from Sam's Club in which they charge over $4 a can. Outrageous. $11 for a steak sandwich that was on a very small roll. One friend's chicken sandwich was partially raw. Sorry, we try to support local but not when it's this bad. To the owner I say you could do better!

He did not seem to care about any of the patrons, just about rushing them all out! I ordered two pitchers of Bud Light and my boyfriend ordered two "Red Bull" and vodkas which turned out to be made with an energy drink that is not even Red Bull. As the bar emptied out, the bartender never called last call and/or advised us that he was closing, he simply closed out our credit card and brought it over for us to sign. I was appalled when receiving the bill that each "Red Bull" and vodka was priced at $8.50! To charge that price when using generic energy drinks is outrageous!!! We never intend to return to this establishment and discourage you from making the same mistake that we did!

This town was very nice and we pinpointed it, to check it out again during a future trip. The snow started hitting hard, so walking into the bright, warm and lively bar/restaurant was exactly what we needed mid road trip. The menu was full of your bar favorites, but included variations and suggested offerings. I liked the options in sides, burger lb sizes, sandwich and starter options- which catered to our groups diverse palate. The staff were busy, but had character, were nice and honest in opinions when engaged about their menu. I took the bartenders suggestion to have the Guiness Burger, scrapped the chips for curly fries with ranch dressing, and had a side salad to start. Everything was fresh and crispy, and picturesque lol. Came out, as if they were made in a tester kitchen.
