I was told it's a great place to eat if your in the area. Its located in one of the busiest parts of Elk Country, near Benezette PA. During leaf peeping time-this place was crazy busy but we took our chances. Being very loud... I pointed to the item on the menu, simple chicken tenders and a side salad. She asked what dressing I would like ect. I got 4 chicken nuggets and no salad. She said it would take a while for a side salad, and charged for the side of ranch dressing? My sister, another simple order, chicken tender dinner that came w fries. she asked to upgrade the fries to add chili, waitress say ok. She got her chili on a separate side of fries which she was charged for Next, a bowl of chili- he got a bowl of cream of Broccoli- The only thing that came out right was a cheeseburger! I swear no one is trained right And I'm not sorry for saying this, but if you know that it's the busiest weekend at the end of summer, GET SOME REAL HELP! PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT PEOPLE ARE ORDERING! Besides the gripe, they said the food was good but the service was terrible, at the bar at least.

We ordered our drinks at the bar prior to going out to the deck as a courtesy to the waitress. We had to ask for menus and then never saw her again! She should've lied and said the kitchen was closed instead of ignoring us. This place is awful. New owners: you need to re-evaluate your staff! As for drinks, that have your basics but nothing in the way of craft beers if that is what you are looking for. Mixed drinks are also just your basics. Asked for an old fashioned and the response was, "tell me what's in it and I will give it a shot". Well, I went for a vodka and tonic. Essentially, if you are looking for a basic bar to drink and smoke then this is your bar. If you want to play pool/darts and play music on the jukebox, then this is your bar. If you do not like to smell like smoke then this is NOT your bar.

UN BE LIEVABLE…read more The food, the service, the value, the staff! Hard to put into words how cool this night was at the bar as a solo dude here in PA on business. They had cheese, chicken and steak options on their quesadillas. I asked if they could do grilled shrimp instead. "YEP" It was the largest, chunkiest, tastiest quesadilla I've ever had! They tossed in sour cream, salsa and pico without batting an eye or adding cost to it. I asked the gal that emerged from the kitchen if she was the chef. She was indeed the saint who made my quesadilla, so I was able to let her know I had just consumed the nectar of the Tex/Mex gods in her offering. The bartender/my server was the nicest, most easy going person ever. He could be selling airplanes for Boeing but somehow he's here doing his craft. I've traveled the US and have gone to literally hundreds of sports bars/restaurants etc. It's hard to describe when you don't encounter a negative person or scene in any conversation or request. If I lived around here I'd sleep in the parking lot so I don't miss a meal or drink oppo. If there were 10 stars I'd give it. I've left some harsh reviews so I don't type the above lightly. To the owners of this patch of golden humanity..... THANK YOU! Why? For finding and hiring great people who care about their work, products and guests.
