Came here on a Friday night, it was the most lively spot I found in DuBois. Good food. Service was a bit slow. I like how they had live entertainment! Great dessert!

Traveling home looking for a place not far from I-80. Angry Goat popped up. No good IPA's even though I saw a bunch on a previous write-up. I got the tart cherry ale, it's very tar,t but if you like tart things like key lime pie, this will be ok. The other beer was the brown ale which was ok/good. The menu had a bunch of tasty choices. We went with the beer cheese crispy chicken mac and the chicken sandwich. The pasta was cooked perfectly. Sorry to say, that is where it ends. I didn't taste any beer in the beer cheese. I did taste a lot of honey. The chicken, I think, was a store bought chicken patty. It was done nice and crispy, I did enjoy that as much as I would one out of a frozen package of chicken patties. The chicken sandwich was the same. He said it looked like a McDonald's chicken sandwich. The onion rings were really good and they came with a tasty sauce. I suggest ordering something like wings or salad. I wanted to really like the food. Other note, as you come out of the bathroom, on a board above where the food is picked up is a sign for the servers that had UPSELL UPSELL UPSELL written on the top. The bathrooms were extremely clean and smelled nicely of apple spice. The restaurant was also very tidy and clean. The bartender and wait staff were all friendly and polite.

This could be the number 1 place in DuBois, but they need a little help to get organized. We have been here three times. It has a super cool and chic inside, two golf simulators, an ax throwing area, an indoor and outdoor bar, and a gorgeous outdoor area when the weather permits, but always having food is iffy. The first time we went there it was the second week, so I wanted to give it a little time before making a review. We went back for the second time Labor Day weekend, and when we walked in they said they were out of all food options...odd? We went for the third time the Wednesday after Christmas, and it was packed! We got a great table by the bar and had a great waitress...but they were out of 8 dinner and appetizers. We ordered the pretzel for an appetizer, and then ending up ordering two more appetizers because of the availability of the menu items. We picked the pulled pork sliders and wings. The wings were the best thing but oh so so so small. I would love to go back and update this review.

It's next door to the hotel and when we went it wasn't so busy that we were ignored but they staff were certainly being kept on their toes (Father's Day weekend, graduations, hotel guests...). They have both indoor seating (complete with a bar if you'd like to sit there) and a really nice looking patio area. The food was fantastic. Our server was great too; she was really friendly and helpful with recommendations. I ordered the reuben sandwich, which was deeeelicious. The salmon was apparently wonderful too, from what my partner said. And I ordered the macaroni and cheese from the kids menu but it was huge. My baby loved it and since it was so huge there was too much for her, so I had the rest at a later time. They had a really good strawberry lemonade, of which we (my daughter and I, because of course she had to have some) drank several glasses. Our server even brought me a to-go cup of it because she said it looked like we were slowing down and may be near finishing. I didn't ask her to bring me a cup of it to go, and wouldn't have thought to ask, so I was very happy she brought it for the rest of our ride to Cleveland. But perhaps my favorite part of the meal were the appetizers. We ordered some macaroni and jalapeño bites which were a hit as far as myself and the little one were concerned, with not too much heat that she could enjoy them. The restaurant has a Brussels sprouts appetizer, but they do it as an "of the week" special. The week we were here it was inspired by elote, so it had some corn and cheese and stuff on it and they were so good. I love Brussels sprouts, and will happily try them prepared in a new way. As of June 2026, I think they are short staffed. Our food took a little longer than usual but that was ok; it gave us a chance to chat and relax. Just be patient if you visit in the near future since they are down an employee or two! But even with that, it was a pleasant evening, the staff were fantastic and helpful, and the food totally hit the spot.

Service: there were only about 3 workers on the main floor, and they had the best customer service, and worked very well together between the bar, bussing tables, and giving great service! Ambience: the decorations for Christmas were beautiful! We loved the ornaments as a centerpiece. We also appreciated the crystal glasses to drink from. Food: 1. Best ranch I have ever had I had it with the zucchini fries and it was addicting! 2. My family all enjoyed their food! Everyone said everything was cooked and seasoned well and tasted delicious! They came out hot and with ranch dressing they were even better! We also tried the potstickers, and they were just ok. We shared the beer battered fish with onion rings and coleslaw. The fish was wonderful! The onion rings were good and the coleslaw was average. Our waitress was super sweet and attentive. The room could be great but had an odd layout. It also felt like a big room they were not sure how to put the tables and chairs. I think we will be back for sure for fish on Fridays during Lent
