Applebee's had our theatre cast and crew last evening for our after closing a show get together. The food was really good. The restaurant was packed but we were seated in groups without much of a wait. Service was very good. Our server was fun, upbeat, friendly, and very quick to help. We had a great time. Not sure if she was new and inexperienced or if she is just always that horrible, but Alyssa has official ruined Apples Bees for me and my family. I had to ask for my order several times, (after waiting 33 minutes for my water), and the entire time she was meant to be getting the plates for my table, she was stopping to gossip with the other servers while being loud and using constant using profanity. i'm not sure if she was joking or not, but while cleaning the table behind us, she said " we put enough hair in people's food as it is". 0 star experience, I'm honestly disappointed. We have been going to Apple Bees for years but you have officially lost at least 50 customers from my family through this horrible service. read more

Stopped in for late lunch while working in the area. The hostess was pleasant and we were seated right away. There were perhaps three other tables populated and a completely full bar. There seemed to be a good number of regular customers for the bar as a few that where red after we did were greeted by name. After 15 minutes with no contact from a server we left. I would review the food and drinks BuR we never received any. Someone I couldn't see told us to have a nice day as we exited. I ordered chicken Alfredo today 03/09/24 for a car side order. when I drove up the girl brought me some else's order. she took it back and brought me my ticket and charged me more money for the Alfredo sauce I ask for. I got half way home and the girl from Applebee's called me to say she gave me someone else's order. I turned around and took that order back and she finally on the third time she gave me the food I ordered. I got home and tried to eat it and it was awful. the Alfredo was so thick and just didn't taste goo. also the chicken was dry! I didn't enjoy my meal at all. didn't even eat it. blah. read more

Friendly staff, prompt service, and good food. I've never ordered a dish I didn't like. That said, I'm not a big foodie. My husband likes the steaks and he is an amateur master chef for steaks. Atmosphere is nice, family friendly, has a bar, like a sports bar. Nice neighborhood spot for us. read more

I really have wanted to like this location but the fact that they are always way understaffed, the restaurant is not particularly clean and the food is very mediocre just won't allow me to say much good. My babe and I always crave Applebees for a date. We came here over the weekend and had a really good time. Our waitress was Parker, she is extremely nice, talkative, and caring too. She is the best waitress there, the others seemed normal she wasn't the boring. I ordered the Bourbon Black and Bleu burger, it tasted really good minus the bacon, bleu cheese, and mushrooms. I had been craving a good burger for a long time and I finally got one. The patty didn't taste frozen, or like one of those beef patties that McDonalds serve. Well seasoned, not too salty, but very juicy. NOT JUICY GREASE, BUT JUICY SEASONINGS. My babe ordered the philly cheese steak burger and he loved it. He said it tasted really good and his plate was a happy plate lol. He suggested Parker to bring him some ranch dressing for his meal and she did it. She bought him two cups of ranch for his sandwich. Parker helped me order she said if I wanted her to order something that she would taste it first and then tell me. Wow you can't get that good service elsewhere. My babe ordered the strawberry lemonade, while I got the kiwi lemonade. They both were really good, but my favorite was the strawberry lemonade. It was superb. Parker kept good on the refills and suggested that she could mix them if we wanted to. I didn't finish all of my fries so I wanted a to-go box for them. Parker came over to our table and said she would give me a fresh batch of fries to go so I wouldn't have to eat the cold ones. WOWOWOW Now that is what I call good service. I honestly don't know what these other yelpers are speaking of, but they must not know good service when they see it. Parker always checked on us, and never abandoned us like other waitresses/waiters. She really cared and wanted our experience to be the best. Very well done with the service. Usually the service at restaurants in the sip are terrible because they are filled with lazy people. The wait for our food wasn't long. I mean, what do these other yelpers expect?! Cold restaurant, cold food, cold service. Our food came to our table of 8 over the course of 30 minutes. Mine was cold, another's was burnt. The utensils were gunky and dirty. Drink refills were sparse. When a complaint was made about the service time, the manger came out and told us how busy the day had been and said "it's not an excuse it's a reason". The problem with that statement was that our meal time took 2 hours and 15 minutes and the building was half empty half of the time we were there. This will be my last visit to this Applebees restaurant. The fact that the restaurant is only at 1/2 capacity shows the lack of management: more workers than patrons yet we still had to wait 10-15 minutes for a table. The waitress E.M. did not tell us the salad would be extra. Nor that they only gave 1 1/2 price Appetizer per table. Which is no where on the sign. My son ordered one & I ordered 1 so should have been 2 1/2 price appetizers. The salad showed up with meal hot. My dish showed up a good 2-3 minutes after my parties dishes. He took care of the additional salad price but she never told us the salad would be extra even as a side. I tried to use their feedback site to tell this but the site leads me to something wonky. read more

The food was delicious. Our server, Pam, was very nice, cheerful, & helpful. I've never been disappointed with Applebee's.

I think it may just be that it's REALLY hard to get good service anywhere around Jackson. Our waitress appeared twice trying to take out order, and once the food arrived, was MIA until well after we wanted to leave. The food was actually pretty good, but service was lack luster to say the least. Seems like I have heard every excuse in the book around this town as per why I'm not getting adequate service. After reading the reviews for this location ..... I pushed my luck and ordered anyways. I chose uber eats as the delivery service because it offered a 20 dollar coupon for the first order...... which will be my LAST ORDER. Order came to the door and I immediately noticed that the drinks were missing.... called out to the driver and said "hey, do you have my drinks?" He was like.... oh yeah.... then no, they didn't send any. And without any remorse at all he blatantly said you'll have to call them. Called the restaurant and of course, the host said "you can come up here to get them". If I could drive to the restaurant to get missing items then clearly I would've came for the entire order.... I politely told her that I have COVID and I was seriously depending on the restaurant and delivery service to do their jobs..... not only was I missing drinks but and entire entree as well. Of course the manager said to reach out to the delivery service but, that's always a waste.... sure I can get a refund a week later but, how does that help with today? Had dinner there once and it took forever to arrive! However staff were very busy and very cordial. Food was exceptional.

Went to eat lunch on a Sunday. Wait to get a table wasn't long. Promptly took our drink orders. 15 minutes after being seated we placed our orders. 50 minutes later our food arrived. We had ordered their advertised special which required a skillet of which they only had a limited supply of. While that was a management problem had the server let us know we would have chosen another entree. It took another 20 minutes to pay. Food quality was great. It just entirely too long. read more

This is probably the worst Applebee's you could ever go to. This restaurant has poor service. Poor workers! I went in today with my grandma and we waited for a waiter for 45 minutes. Party of 4. Freezing cold inside which wasn't much different than being outside. We were all miserably uncomfortable during the meal. We did ask if they could turn the a/c off and it stayed off for about 15 minutes until someone turned it back on. Brrrrr. All 4 entrees arrived separately. The club sandwich which is our old standby was overcooked. Our friend ordered a steak and wanted it topped with the grilled shrimp. The shrimp arrived 10 minutes after his steak. Our friend that ordered the Chicken Pasta was the last one served. We were nearly done when he got his food. Server was nice but not very good. He didn't clear away one single plate during the meal. It's a crying damn shame that you place an $88 order through the waiter app and Applebee's can't make sure the main entree of two slabs of baby back ribs aren't in the order. No checks and balances. No I don't want my order an hour later. No I will not come back for a while. No I don't want to waiter to bring the food back to my house hours later. Managers don't manage these days and the student workers don't know how to work. This the service is absolute crap! Ordered curbside last night. Wanted a couple of apps and a beverage, but the website doesn't have an option for regular iced tea. Order was ready on time, and the young man who delivered my food was very pleasant. Ordered spinach artichoke dip and chicken quesadilla app combo. Dip was basically flavorless (no artichoke flavor, at all), and chips were so thin they kept breaking off in dip. As for the quesadilla, all I could taste was salt. Not worth the money, and if I had been dining in, I would have returned it. Lesson learned. I won't be back. read more

The law must have changed, because they sell liquor now. I had the fish & chips, which was quite good and very filling. We had a cute young man named Dillon wait on us, assisted by a trainee waiter, another nice-looking young man named Joseph. I asked for 3 refills of my water and soft drink just so they would come around to my table again. :) I gave it 4 stars because the light over our table was flickering a little bit, and it was too chilly for me in there. I've tried eating at this Applebees before and had to walk out due to no service. I took my family there for lunch and $1.00 Long Island Ice teas- Amazeballs and food wasn't too bad either. Best part was the servers Stacey and Pam very good servers. Wouldn't recommend Friday night's as my previous experience was on a Friday night. Pleas keep the $ drinks. read more
