I ordered a medium rare sirloin steak. It came back with yellow spots that ended up being vomit from a drunk cook. I did not receive any compensation. I was told it was cowboy sauce and I ate the whole steak before i watched the cook vomit in the hallway in between the bathroom and the tables. note: its not cowboy sauce do not eat it! read more

I've never had a good experience at Applebees not just here but in other cities too. The only thing I could suggest going here for is getting a cold brew. The food...awful. My steak tasted a little on the spoiled side and was hardly seasoned. I asked for it to be cooked medium and when it was brought to me, it was like they took a bic lighter and slightly browned the outside flesh and left the rest completely raw. I was wondering what they were thinking. I also couldn't imagine why it had taken so long since it was hardly cooked. The bar tender took it back, brought me a smaller piece, smaller portion of the potatoes and somewhat cold veggies but at least I got a lot of those. I ate the dinner, but it was most unenjoyable. The staff was very nice, but I just couldn't believe what they were serving and thought it was okay. I will pass on going back for any food. Could they mess up french fries? Just wondering. Anyway, if I go back for anything at it will only be for adult beverages only. read more

My wife and I went today and got the 2 for 20 deal. We order the spinach and artichoke dip which tasted good but the bowl was half full and enough chips for one person. I got the chicken strip platter which came with 2 sides and extra strips. I got fries and the Mac and cheese with it. The strips we're good but small and the the Mac and cheese was great, but the fries were cold and chewy like they had been sitting there for awhile. My wife had the American standard burger made pink and fries. Her fries were also cold and hard. The burger was just meat and cheese on the bun nothing else.The service wasn't great we had 4 different servers and the one that took our order didn't ask my wife if she want anything on her burger and they forgot to bring me the request dip for my strips. read more

I have had both good and bad experiences. The staff is generally pretty nice but they mess up my order every other time. Especially since I am always taking things off and adding other things to my orders. I love that the staff is accommodating even if the order is different that normal. read more

This Applebees has seating for larger groups. If you have a birthday party or are going out after church with a large group, they have a back area that works well for that. The waiting staff is sometimes a little intimidated by any groups over 4 but seem to figure it out. Food is consistant. Appetizers are half price from 4-6pm and 9 til midnight. Good value. Kids eat for 99 cents on Tuesday nights. read more

Had an awful experience here. Ordered Beer Pub Pretzels &a Beer cheese dip, and got Queso instead of the beer cheese dip. I also ordered the boneless wings, but never got them. The staff here are horrible! Sad cause I love applebees! The bartender acted like he didn't see me and just had a nasty attitude! I stayed at a hotel for a couple days next door so I stopped in more then once and it was alway the same experience. Go next door to Hooters. I love Applebees. They serve decent food at really good prices especially if you pick out their specials they have. You can't go wrong with half price apps after 9 with friends when you want together to get a drink after late classes or after work. I find the staff to be friendly and helpful. The Bruschetta Chicken Salad was ok--I remembered huge salads here in years past. Not so now. It was fresh romane and pretty good, but nothing to plan a trip around. The beer selection was poor, and the bar tender didn't even know what an IPA was. Overall, a decent experience, but I think Applebee's has slipped a bit. read more

Applebee's Neighborhood Bar and Grill gave a good impression to me. The moment I came inside this restaurant, I can already smell the food's aroma. It really made me drool. So, I ordered some salad. I've been to 6 different Applebee's in the past 3 weeks and I've got to say this is the worst. Chicken wanton tacos have nearly no meat and the beer cheese sauce for my pretzels was so milky/watered down it was gross! Sat at the bar and the bartender confirmed that others have complained about the inconsistency and even went so far to say the other location on the north side of town is more aligned with regular customers expectations. Just had a phenomenal experience here with one of the new managers (Chuck). My food was good, but the kitchen staff slightly over cooked my steak. I wasn't going to complain, but the manager must have noticed me inspecting my steak because he came over and asked how I'd requested it cooked and then offered to have them recook it. We were in a rush, so instead he took some money off my bill. He and my server were incredibly friendly and courteous. I appreciated that they cared enough about my experience that my reaction was noticed without even having to tell anyone. Well done! I will be returning. read more

These 5 stars are strictly for service...Applebee's is not typically a place I choose to dine at much anymore except when I'm craving a Perfect Margarita and some wings...had them tonight...Margarita was spot on but the wings are not what I remember. They are now double crunch...way to much breading, sauce was still great though!!! But what really blew my mind was the fact that my fiancè and I were talking about how every place says "Wings" but you usually end up with more drummies than wings. So when our server came and took our order, he was kidding around with her and asked if we could just get wings, no drummies. She politely replied that they are weighed. After receiving my wings, I had 6 drummies and 3 wings...really not a big deal. But the manager whose name is Ryan Jenkins came over to the table and apologized and said "I hear we got it backwards". He was talking about the wing to drummie ratio. I told him it was really no big deal. But I realized that our server had actually asked if it was possible to get more wings than drummies. Her name is Kristen H...so thank you Kristen:) that was very nice of you to do that. After that I continued to watch this manager and he was running drinks, and standing by the door as people left...in short, he was working and doing his job and very well I might add!!! I come from the restaurant industry. I have served, cooked, bartended, managed even done dishes and was the GM of a restaurant, I would of paid very well and been very happy to have a server and a manger like Kristen and Ryan. My last two experiences were pretty awful. Let's start with the most recent. The host was friendly and seated me quickly. But that's the end of good reviews for this place. After I was sat in a booth I was not approached by a single waiter/waitress for over 15 minutes. Didn't even get a drink order in. I did however have a waiter and waitress at the table next to me look at me and clearly seen me waiting but never approached me. Who knows how long I would have sat there being as I got up and left when I had enough. I'm fine with waiting and I understand things happen when you are busy as I am a server at a family restaurant but I also know if I see someone sitting empty handed that I will check on them. read more
