However, around the middle of September, we sat waiting for about 40 min and finally we were seated in chairs for pedicures by someone named Hanson who acted like he was either the manager or thought he was the Second-Coming. He seated us, ran some lukewarm water in my basin and disappeared in a hole behind the front desk. He only came up to take money and each time, I tried to flag him but he ignored me. Finally, Anna, who was doing my brother called to him. He brought me a bottle of warm water that I had to ask for (usually they offer). I asked if he could add hot water to the now cold water in my basin. He laughed like it was funny and said someone would be with me shortly. ' After 20 more minutes, no one came so Anna, who is always very kind and professional. removed her gloves, fixed my basin, added hot water and turned on the jets. Hansen appeared from his underground chamber, walked briskly over to Anna and vociferously reamed her out in their language - right in front of me and all the clients, so I told him he was very rude and he said I was rude! We glared at each other and exchanged a few more choice words. Although Anna seemed to stand up for herself, I felt really bad for her. She should not have been treated that way for just being kind. I told her I would not be getting my nails done so she wiped my feet and put lotion on my legs. When my brother was done, I gave her a tip for both of us. When I paid the troll, I said I would not be coming back and I would give him a bad review. He said "Go ahead, I don't care." When I paid, we did some more glaring before I left. I had been going to that shop since before it was Mio, took my son and my daughter there too. They were always so friendly and professional and It's in my neighborhood as I frequent UPS and Stater Brothers as well. I have no idea where he came from, probably materialized from the pits of hell. I know I had never seen him before and don't intend to see him again!

If you are late they understand, if you walk in they try to get you seated and started as soon as possible and are always checking in with you while you wait. Fun relaxed atmosphere - Typically they have some random music channel on the tv and you will find that most customers and staff are singing a long with the music. Clean Spot - The salon is always clean when I get there and/or they are in the middle of cleaning. You know how some places you walk in and you immediately feel dirty? This place is not like that. 2. ALL TECHS ARE GOOD! Most of the places I have been I am selective on who does my nails because not all of them are good. All the techs are really good at what they do and take pride in their work. Next my hand nails, I asked for a Deep French tip, the nail tech took soooooo long to finish I asked was this the first time he had done this type of nail style, he kind of got offended he said "Oh I've done this type and many others". Yet he did such a poor job... ugh so irritating how many of these nail places have people who don't have proper licenses or certificates to actually do this job.
