When I lost the internet connection I had to act, so I called PC Problems. Technician arrived promptly and got right to work. After…read morethe first attempt the ear piece stopped working, the "tech" apologized and told them to come back so he could try again. On the second attempt the ear piece is completely shot and you can only use the phone on speaker. On top of all that, the "tech" kept a smirk on his face as if he couldn't care less and couldn't do anything else for them. Instead of a simple screen replacement now we're headed to potentially replace the entire phone. I truly believe this location must've watched "how to repair phones" on YouTube then opened a shop, screen replacement has never been an issue at qualified locations.

DO NOT USE THIS STORE TO PACK FRAGILE ITEMS I paid the store…read moreto pack my computer monitor into a secure box for shipping. I asked to watch them pack it up, but was told that items would be packed up later in the day and assured me that it will be packed properly and safely. The manufacturer received my monitor damaged. Pictures showed the monitor was packed in a very large box. The box was not long enough for the monitor to lie flat, instead it was laid diagonally in the box. For protection, there is a single layer of bubble wrap, some crumpled paper and a small pack of packing foam. It was clearly not enough to secure the monitor nor prevent it from shipping bumps and drops. The store will not refund me the money. I have to file a claim with FedEx. The FedEx claims department denied my claim, only the shipper can file a claim, who is the manufacturer. The manufacturer does not file claims. So I am lost the $34 for the FedEx Office to pack my monitor and the damage to the monitor. Lcukily the manufacturer was understanding and replaced my monitor. Now I am trying to get my money back for the poor packaging. Unfortunately, the store will not do that, the FedEx claims department will not open my case and reiterates that even to get a refund for the packaging, the manufacturer needs to file a claim! This is a strict FedEx policy. I'm in circles and now disputing the charge with my credit card company. Again DO NOT USE THIS STORE TO PACK FRAGILE ITEMS!!! They will do a crap ass job. If you have a vase or some other fragile item and pay the FedEx office in Morris Plains NJ to pack it securely, expect it to arrive broken. Do not trust them, unless you watch them pack it. Buy the materials and pack it yourself. Save yourself the misery.

Last week I went to the Genius Bar, at the short hills Apple store and while i do acknowledge that they are very knowledgable - they were unable to repair my Macbook Pro, saying that it was "too old". Having called upon Charlie in the past, I drove straight there and left the laptop with them for a "diagnostic workup". The advantage of using Best Bet is that they deal with BOTH windows AND apple operating systems (in my household we have several PC's and several Macs) and, for me anyway, its VERY REASSURING that my tech guy is intimately familiar with both! Surprisingly, they were able to repair my laptop (that Apple said couldnt be repaired) for $100...I was GREATLY RELIEVED Ive had them come to my house for Desktop computer help and I've also driven there myself for laptop help I find it comforting dealing with a small'ish operation (where they actually know who I am when i walk in or call) as opposed to a huge corporation where I have to first "make an appointment to speak with them", and if i'm "lucky" they'll give me an appointment in 4 or 5 days. With Best Bet my families needs have always been tended to very quickly.
