The staff are lovely to chat with and very knowledgeable, all colors of the fantastic Apple products are out on tables for your demo pleasure. This store should have a higher average rating as I feel that most people who leave reviews on stores like this focus on their negative experience; In most cases it's not a store issue, but an Apple policy that is low-key annoying to be told when you've just gotta get your MacBook Pro fixed. Additionally, every Apple Store I've visited is exceptional when assisting customers with disabilities. I am legally blind and they always offer to get a product out if it isn't already on display so I can touch it and get a better idea of what it's like. The charges did not show up on my Apple Account billing and charges account, nor could the on line Apple representative find it on their end. I would say I came to purchase a product, I walked around looking at the MacBook Air, and the MacBook Pro, I walked around for about 15 minutes. I had to seek someone out to get questions answered. I was disheartened to find out that military discount cannot be applied in store, you would think in 2025 that is possible. While staff was decent it seemed as if they were not super into helping me answer questions. After my purchase I found out that even with military discount, I still could have saved an additional $10 online. I will say they fulfilled the online order quickly and had everything I wanted in stock... just some things that could be optimized. read more

For the past 25 years I have had Mac computers. I've had Apple care for the past 15 years on various Apple products, usually iPhones and MacBooks or Mac computers in general. I bought a MacBook Pro Air 15 inch, the one that came out in 2023. It's been 6 months since owning. Last week I closed it while a piece of paper was in between and the glass cracked! Weird typically durable products, very surprising but it's okay that's what AppleCare is for right? Made an appointment and took it to this Apple Store, they said they have to order the screen, and once it comes in and installed I can have it back. Um excuse me? Why didn't you tell me this before I drove it an hour to get to your store. Our Genius was a fella named Zach. He repeated the same thing 6 times, not willing to listen to any of my concerns. None! And HE was getting frustrated, that's not okay. Finally he agreed to get the supervisor, who was nicer, busted out a monitor to test if anything else was broken. But ultimately same results. Sure. 6 days later went back an hour away to get the "fixed laptop." Took it home and it would not turn on. Sigh, took it back the next day. They "jump started" it by connecting it to another laptop, and said it's good to take home. UM excuse me, but this seems like kind of a big deal, I feel like it'll happen again very soon and I don't want to keep taking it to this awful store with neglectful careless rude Zach so he can "jump start" my 6 month old $1500 MacBook. Please do better Park City Apple. You are bringing shame to an otherwise lovable brand. I am sending this on my iPhone so no hard feelings Apple, love your products. read more

I needed to update the iOS on an older iPad® Mini, which requires to be plugged into iTunes® to be updated. I was sans mu laptop so the only way I could think to do it was to visit the local Apple® Store. I arrived just before lunch on a Sat and the place was absolutely packed with customers. Kudos to the mgmt for having plenty of staff on hand to deal with the throng. After working my way inside I was greeted by an employee who asked how he could help me. I then stated my problem and he said it might be a 20-25min wait to get a technician. I agreed and sat back to people watch. Within two minutes Austin approached me and after a quick explanation and a few button pushes on the iPad and away he went to grab a laptop. Soon the iOS was updating and within 15min I was on my way out the door with an updated device. Customer service was outstanding and they deserve some praise against all the negative reviews at this location. Kudos! read more

Very poor customer service. I brought my 3-month-old Midnight M3 MacBook Air in because I noticed the bottom of the computer was losing its finish, possibly due to a defect in the anodizing process. The rest of the computer looks pristine, and I've babied it since new. When I got to the store, which was an hour's drive away, the Genius Bar employee immediately dismissed my concern, stating they wouldn't cover it under warranty since it's cosmetic. After requesting to speak with a manager, Alaina came and stated the same thing, and said they could send it out for repair but there would be a charge because it's not a defect. I've used MacBooks for 15 years and never experienced this type of issue, or such poor customer service from Apple and am extremely disappointed. The computer is literally only three months old and is only losing its finish on the bottom piece which signals an obvious defect. I do not recommend this store for your service needs. I will be filing a complaint with Apple as it's unacceptable for a $1,500 computer to be experiencing this issue at only three months old. read more

I suggest making an appointment here if you ever need service on your device. Go to apple's website and book a time so you don't come here for nothing. Most staff are friendly and knowledgeable, except that one guy...sometimes. If they tell you to sit at a table and don't take your name, go to someone else with an iPad and give them your name. You will not be helped if you sit there and wait. And wait. Other than some slight customer service issues, this place has all the Apple products to play with or buy. They have tons of accessories as well, albeit mostly overpriced. I got a nice case for $20 from the guy at the kiosk outside the store. $42 Apple case? Nah, I'm good bro. read more

I purchased the new Apple Watch series 9 from Amazon and by accident ordered the one with the sports loop band instead of the regular sports band. I was so disappointed! My husband called Apple and explained the situation and was told we could exchange it at the store and avoid having to return the watch to Amazon and reorder another one. So when we went in to get 2 Apple watches a young gentleman helped us. He knew about the watch but not much about the bands. I asked about a black basic band with the red watch. He said that shouldn't be an issue. He was wrong when ordering I had to get red with red because it was the only option. I had to buy another band because I didn't want red with red. I then asked if everything for charging came with it. Again he said yes. We just got out watches in the mail and there is no brick for USB C that the charger plugs into. We now have to buy them as well. Had we known all the extra charges that came with this we would not have purchased them. If you're in the Apple store those employees should either know exactly what they are talking about or just say they need to ask someone. Let me start off by saying that maybe my family & I were lucky, maybe they just have good customer service representatives, but Sean and the girl with the glasses who only works weekends and is also a nurse (I forget her name) were absolutely AMAZING to me, my mom and my dad. We ordered two iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max's online and had them shipped to the store. We were there from 8pm-10:30pm getting our phone information transferred, set up and learning the new features. Sean was by far one of the most knowledgable, comfortable and funny employees I have ever come across in the store. I hope someone from the Apple company sees this because he really deserves something. He stayed past his work hours (10pm) (a technician even came over to ask why he was still working) just to finish helping us out making sure our questions were answered and so we didn't leave confused about anything. If he didn't know something, he got us an answer right away from someone who did. My iPhone 11 Pro is amazing and everything transferred over just fine. It took about an hour for everything to go through but Sean did the best he could to make us feel comfortable. The other woman (the one who is also a nurse) took over when Sean finally left around 10:15pm. She helped me clear my old iPhone and also helped us disconnect our old devices that were taking up extra room on our iClouds. She was very helpful, polite and personable. She had nothing but great things to say about working for Apple too. Both employees deserve something for the hospitality they gave us. This is why I will continue to be an Apple customer (I have the iPhone, AirPods, Apple TV and MacBook!) read more

Not customer friendly and very elitist. Needless to say their policies are also elitist. And they're so eager to collect your $$ for any reason that they can. Their devices at this point are not superior to some other brands, and their service is below any acceptable standard. Over the Christmas it took them over a month to fix my laptop, there was miscommunication between the departments, misdiagnosis, and just huge lag of time. In the end the entire process left me without a work laptop for 6 weeks, which is unacceptable! Today I went in with a phone issue - a new phone I got two months ago. The port stopped working. And I couldn't back it up because there is no other personal device that I own. So they said they the options then was that they will take apart!!! my phone and all of my data would get lost! I was shocked how he even called it an option! For such an expensive and new phone, for them to just lose my data, and have that be a viable option is unfathomable to me... Yet that was their option out of a "myriad of options", as Joe the manager said he had. But since I was not okay with my data being lost - he said that I declined that option too, and there he was, happy to help! Well - at first reflection I thought they'd solved my problem. Come to find out - they only made it worse. My iPhone 6 was part of the 'recall' for the battery issue - and I had the phone replaced in Charlotte (home base) on Friday - 11/30. I travel frequently - so I had to leave for a client site on Saturday (drive) and passed through York, PA on my way to my final destination. On the way, the replacement phone failed - and I stopped at this store to have it looked at. Mario was pleasant - and they chose to offer me a 'loaner' iPhone - until mine could be fixed. He installed the base OS and we both confirmed the iPhone was functioning so I left. I had mentioned that I had a complete Backup of my phone on my laptop - and would restore it later this evening. At my destination, I began the restore only to discover that the iPhone loaner was ONLY A 16GB UNIT !!!!! So now I have a useless loaner phone that I'm stuck with until mine is fixed. Oh - and they mentioned they can't ship my phone to me --- I have to DRIVE BACK TO THE STORE IN ORDER TO PICK IT UP AND DROP OFF MY LOANER PHONE !!! Either Apple needs to get their act together - or this store needs to start doing a better job of providing QA - when the technicians finish a job .... read more

What's not to like about Apple? Maybe when it's time have service done on their products? Today we drove nearly 50 miles to the Apple store at Lancaster's Park City Center because my wife's 2-month old Apple watch needed some testing done on its battery which drains like 5% per hour. First off, the floor staffs were great, more than half dozens of them greeted us and offered help while we were there. The problem lay with the overall experience of receiving service from their Genius Bar, their hardware support. My wife called Apple's corporate support about the problem with Apple watch and they recommended getting it tested by a local store, hence our visit today. Well, at the store we first registered ourselves for an appointment with the Genius Bar, and we were told to expect up to 2 hours before getting serviced. Fine, we'd just do our shopping in the mall in the meantime. We got our first text quickly, confirming that we're in queue. Then nearly 2 hours later, we got a 2nd text saying they are nearly ready and we should go back to the store. We hurried back to the store, only to be told that we needed to wait for the 3 text. Huh?! Fine. We waited in the store for another 10 minutes before the 3rd text came. Not too bad we thought. We were told to sit at the Genius Bar. Little did we know that it wouldn't be until another 30 minutes before a technician was ready to address our problem. This is akin to a doctor's office visit: after the first round of waiting in the lobby and when your name is finally called, that only means you get to continue the 2nd round of waiting at the examination room before the doctor would finally show up. But this was worse! The final blow? We were told there's little they could do as far as testing the Apple Watch battery, that they'd have to send the watch to Apple's corporate support. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! If it weren't for having discovered Park City Center being such a nice shopping mall, and getting to pig out at the Dragon Hibachi buffet, this trip would have been a total waste. read more

Apple support had erased my operating system on MacBook Pro 3 weeks ago. I've since been trying to get into a store to resolve the problem. My schedule keeps me out of town multiple days at a time. I never know what day I will be back in town. Apple has done absolutely nothing to make it possible to resolve the problem that they created. I've offered to drop off or even mail it in but they refused to accommodate. It seems I will have to mail this MacBook across country to someone that is unemployed and has the ability to carry it into a store on their terms. Never will I buy another Apple product. My iPhone screen cracked on Thursday. I live in Harford County and my closest Apple store is in Towson, however I couldn't get an appointment there until the following Thursday so I made an appointment at this Apple store for 6pm on Saturday. It is an hour drive for me to get to the Lancaster Apple store. I got there 10 minutes before my Genius Bar appointment. When I checked in, the guy told me "I think I just heard over the radio that they aren't doing repairs anymore for the night and you will have to leave your phone over night." 10 minutes past my appointment time, a genius rep came and got me. He said I would have to leave my phone overnight as well and I nicely explained that it wasn't going to happen and i would make another appointment at a different location since I lived an hour away and made the appointment thinking that it would be done that day, since they don't even close until 9pm. My question is, why would they let me make an appointment at that time if they were unable to do a repair by the time they closed? That's the last time I drive an hour to go to this location. I will be sticking with the Apple store in Towson. read more

Set up a Genius Bar appointment over the phone with an Apple rep and was able to get in the same day. We had to get my wife's new Apple Watch paired correctly as I thought there might have been a glitch during the set up process at home. The service we received at the store was outstanding. The rep (Jake) at the store took his time to explain many of the features of the watch and how they work. Jake set it up and made us very happy customers. I made an appointment by phone to have my Iphone battery replaced. The tech checked the battery and confirmed it needed to be changed. He scheduled an appointment for me at the Lancaster Apple store to have the battery replaced. I drove 60 miles one way to the Apple Store. After checking me in, the technician told me they didn't have time to change the battery that day and I would need to reschedule for another day. The tech "promised" that when I arrived, I could wait while the battery was changed. I explained that I had already had an appointment and didn't understand why I needed to return. Bottom line, I have to drive 120 miles roundtrip AGAIN in a few days. Hopefully they will have time to replace the battery this second time. I don't undestand why Apple doesn't have a store in the Harrisburg area. I am seriously considering changing to an Android phone. read more

It's horrifically funny how your phone always fails you at the most inopportune times! While traveling, my battery clearly needed to be replaced. Set up an appointment at the closest Apple store, which happened to be in Lancaster. I read online that replacing the battery would only be $29, but if it had to be sent in, it could take days to get back. I was dreading being phone-less for an unforeseeable amount of time, and having to drive all the way back to Lancaster to pick it up. Dropped off my phone on a Thursday evening. I got there about 30 minutes before my appointment and they told me to come back at the actual appointment time. No problem. Came back for the appointment and waited maybe 5-10 minutes for my turn. Not too shabby, better than most doctor's offices. They looked at my phone, confirmed it needed a new battery and said my phone would be ready in 1.5 hours (just before closing)! I was so happy! They saved me time, headache and gas money. So I killed time by getting dinner. And then picking it back up was super quick and easy. Thanks guys for making the experience fast and painless, especially for an out-of-towner very far from home!! read more

Busy day at Apple today with the release of the Iphone 14. This store was ready. Their employees were all happy and helpful. My adult son is autistic and could not wait for this phone release. This was one of the worst shopping experiences ever. First I was met with security guards out front who told me to put on a mask. I did as we had an appointment to get my son's phone fixed. The security guard proceeded to follow me in the store and yell at me about it not being completely over my nose. It was over my nose and then he continued to yell at me. He followed me around the store to make sure that I didn't pull my mask down. I was harassed while I was there even though I put on the mask. My son pulled his away from his face for one second and was yelled at. Maybe instead of worrying about the mask so much, you should focus more on the issues with the devices. I visited the Apple Store to have them take a look at my Apple Watch Series 3. Recently, I was swimming with my watch. While I was in the pool it immediately died and hasn't turned on since. While I was at the store, the person that was helping me said to me "I don't know why Apple advertises the watch for swimming. I would never wear mine in the pool." Then, the employee proceeds to tell me that there's nothing that they can do for me. It'll cost me $229 to repair the watch. Apple's customer service used to be great. I have many Apple products and have never had issues with them. The customer service and store was easy to work with. However, that great customer service has since diminished. Apple advertises the watch to be able to be swam in up to 50 meters. I was in a swimming pool for ten minutes and it broke. It's disappointing to see a company who has always been so good with their service, now not help with water damage for a device they advertise to be able to be in a pool. I had a Fitbit in the past and loved it. I specifically bought the Apple Watch Series 3 for the swimming feature. I will now put the "repair fee" cost towards another Fitbit rather repairing my Apple Watch. read more

DO NOT GO HERE or trust them with your devices! I would give zero stars if I could. I'm currently outside a LOCKED and closed Apple store on a Saturday...and my MacBook is inside! I was told on the phone by them yesterday that I could pick it up today (*since they were unable to give any answers as to what was wrong with my device). This is the worst customer service I've ever received in my whole life and this is also my first Yelp review. When I walked into the store Thursday evening, I had been able to turn on my laptop that morning, however it had been acting up the day before and would not turn on without being plugged in (*important to note I've never had any issues with it before). When in the store, the guy checking me in wanted to speed things up so he said he would help me instead of who was scheduled to. He had trouble turning on my MacBook...however I was able to successfully turn it on for him(I should have left then...). He said the diagnostic test wasn't running so suggested I spend $200 for a new battery. I said I would rather wait to know EXACTLY what's wrong with it before spending that amount. I asked if they could keep it and run the test overnight. (Which I don't believe they actually did now knowing what I know). I got a call the next day saying they couldn't run the test and they suggested I get an new $2500 MacBook. I asked if I could just come pick it up to take it somewhere else to at least get answers/get the data off. He said yes, I could come tomorrow(Saturday, today) and didn't need an appointment. TODAY THEY DID NOT OPEN. A girl from the store across the way said she's friends with one of their employees who said they just didn't have enough help - WHICH IS NO EXCUSE! I'm a small business owner and run my business on my Macbook which is now inside the store closed all weekend. Customer care was 0% helpful and so NOT empathetic on the phone - very robotic while reading rehearsed lines. I asked what they could do for me - which was just "record my feedback." NOT ACCEPTABLE. They also said the store was closed due to Covid - which is a blatant lie. I want to be reimbursed for my time, effort, and the days of editing work lost due to the carelessness of this Apple staff. Walked into this location on a weekday in which there was no special Apple event, no tour bus activity, and no shortage of Apple employees. I stood for 12 minutes without being noticed. I thought I might have caught the eye of one employee at the 13th minute, but no such luck. I wore my transparent shirt and pants. Finally, after dodging all the employees who had mastered the art of appearing to scurry around but not actually helping anyone, I approached someone whose head wasn't completely buried in a company-issued iPad. I wanted to purchase an iPad Pro, I declared, inquiring whether I needed to order it online and pick it up at the back counter or was there someone -- anyone -- who would sell me one in the here and now? I was told the salespeople were busy at the moment. I also learned that the bulk of the Apple employees present are NOT sales people but technical service representative-type folks assisting existing customers unable or unwilling to figure out their devices on their own. Oh, well. Finally someone came over and asked if I knew what I wanted. I said I did, as long as in the amount of time I had been waiting Apple hadn't upgraded or made obsolete the device I originally wanted. (She didn't get it.) Thankfully she did get ahold of someone via her radio and earpiece and ordered from the bowels of the back room the device I wanted. Then they tell me I have to wait longer for them to run diagnostics. Of course they are already past my appointment time. The staff was rude and a bit short with me.
