Had to make 2 trips to the store. Upgraded my 5c 2 days ago, and shocker my phone crashed. Take it into apple, and was informed "there is nothing we can do for you because it won't power on." (Reason why I came into the store). Employee stated they needed a higher wattage to charge my phone to be able to turn back on my phone, conveniently that wattage of a charger is not in the store, again "we can't do anything for you." Basically, have this iPhone took it to an APPLE store and they can't even fix their own problems. ...Upgraded to a new phone (basically forced to upgrade, even though my 5c worked just fine yesterday), got home to set it up & an error came up when trying to use the back up from when I upgraded my phone 2 days ago. Error read something like error, try again or remind me later. Reminder, JUST got this new iPhone 7 today. Took it back to the store (in a winter storm), for the manager to tell me again there was nothing they could do, not even a discount, even though the whole problem was that my battery died and wouldn't recharge. Here I am with a monthly payment plan where my phone just so happened to crash after it was out of warranty and I upgraded to their new software. The manager got my phone started up. Told the manager I took a screen shot of the error message on this new phone, and he said well because of setting up your phone, that picture will be erased, again how convenient. When asked the manager for his higher up contact information he replied with "sorry I don't have his business card, but you can have mine." Seriously! You did absolutely nothing for me why do I need your contact information?!
I've had 3 different Apple products all through college. You would think Apple would want to help out a loyal customer. Anyways, 14 days to return this phone and I will be looking into a new company. I don't care if it's not "the best" phone, I need a functional phone for when I am on call for work. Looking for a company that has excellent customer service and does not tell loyal customers "there is nothing we can do for you." read more
