I needed to access our safe to get my daughter's passport for a trip she was about to take. The keypad on the safe was unresponsive. It was more than 10 years old, and I called the safe company. After troubleshooting with them, it was evident that the keypad was shot. I went to Apple Locksmith and told them of my predicament and the urgency of the situation. They promised to send someone to check out the problem and drill the safe open if necessary. One of the owners came to my house with a new keypad (I had provided the information on the safe to them). He replaced the keypad and set up the program and we were able to open the safe and give my daughter her passport. I highly recommend Apple for their outstanding service. read more

These folks has 99 pct of the keys you might need and if they don't they will order it for you. We recently purchased an old Jeep for my daughter and they were the only folks who could make the key successfully after Home Depot and Lowe's struck out. Probably the only true in store REAL locksmith around. I'm not talking about The big box stores that try to make keys. These guys had key blanks no one else and made them perfectly. I had a keyless lock installed last week. Unfortunately, my screen door did not give enough clearance to install the lock. Rarely I give negative feedback online as these are small businesses and we should do our best to accommodate and promote them. Unfortunately these guys are the worst. I went to them last month to make a duplicate key for my dual sport motorcycle. They said they have to order keys which matches the motorcycle key and would let me know once they have it and said it might take a week or two. They took my details and said they would call me once they get it. It has been weeks and I called them multiple times and they don't have it yet. They never bother to call me or take this thing seriously. Worst customer service. read more

I called to have 2 door locks installed. It was very easy to schedule and came within 2 days. Pros: Came during the time scheduled. Installation was fast. Cons: Only came with one choice of locks. When I booked the appointment he gave the impression that I could choose from different locks. When I asked how much was everything, he told me it would be the cost of the locks (which he told me) and installation. I was never told there was a $72 service charge. He wrote up the invoice without telling me the price. I had to ask the cost. I had to go to work so I didn't get a chance to question it until I saw the invoice later. I would recommend purchasing your own locks so you can have the one you want. read more

Truly a "cut" above the rest. I lost my only car keys this past week & virtually EVERY place I went to was completely incompetent on resolving my issue in terms of cutting these keys I had purchased online. Both Home Depot & Lowe's gave me no assistance for my situation, & I ran into a very much so profiling douchebag at Lowe's in East Brunswick, NJ who didn't even have the common decency to ask me what model of car keys I had. Just saw them & said "No we don't do those"... I discovered Apple Locksmith & to say the least was seriously blown away. My technician was extremely skilled in his craft & was able to cut & program my key in as little as about 45 minutes. No questions asked & extremely well done. Can't speak highly enough about these guys. I had a nightmare of a day with our 2005 Honda that involved 3 different tow trucks, almost getting totally ripped off by Metro Honda in Jersey City, and then finally finding Apple Locksmith who saved the day. I called around 3pm telling Brian my story about how Metro Honda was trying to tell me I needed a new ignition for $700, and another key for $265 because they said my key was bent (wasn't at all - they lied). He immediately sense I was getting ripped off and asked me a few questions to diagnose the possible problem. Fast forward to around 5pm when I had the tow truck bring my car to Brian at Apple. In about 20 minutes, they had cut me two new keys along with a keyfab (sp?), for a very reasonable and fair price. They recognized the nightmare I had been through and were happy to fix the problem quickly and get me on my way.
