A week later, we get an email saying it didn't come in with their shipment (which came in two days after we placed the order) because it was "backordered". That's odd, how can a discontinued colour be back-ordered? We asked if they were actually getting any - if so, we would be willing to wait a few weeks. They responded saying they'd see what they could find. We decided we would just ask for a different colour, but when we emailed for an update to make sure they hadn't received any in the original colour.. weeks went by with no communication or response to follow up emails. We sent an email to cancel the order - no response. We called to cancel the order - we were told we'd receive a call back the next day. That never happened, so I called. First, she got my order wrong, and then said "oh, that's been cancelled." "When was this?" "A couple weeks ago. It was cancelled and refunded." "No one felt the need to tell us?" "Sorry about that." I told her it wasn't refunded as the money never went, y'know, into the bank and isn't even listed as pending. She said she'd issue the refund that day (but I thought it already had been?). It's been a week and it still hasn't happened. I've filed a complaint with the BBB, who has another complaint, very similar to this one, on file. The website still lists our order as processing and no refund has been issued. Awful customer service and very dishonest. Very unprofessional.

Everything was answered and the girl was super friendly. I did find out the next day that the info wasn't 100% correct but close to it. There were two young employees at the cash who were super nice. I started walking around a bit while they were getting stroller I put on hold and another employee came out of the backroom/office and asked me if I needed help. Didn't mind the help BUT this girl was so UNFRIENDLY... I don't know if she had a bad day or if that's her personality. Her "help" felt so forced and I had to pull every information out of her, which was really annoying. After a lousy and rushed stroller demonstration, I thanked her because I was basically done being in her miserable presence and went on to the cash. Again, the girls at the cash were super nice, gave me the info I needed and more. One of the guys that worked in the back was also super nice when he came out to help me with loading the box in the car. The store was really clean and neat. Wanted to stay longer to look around but didn't have the time. I'll be back for sure!! I also like that they have a couple of parking spots in the back - in case you can't find parking on Wellington near the store.

There's a tackle shop in the back that's even bigger, which caters to horse lovers, offering saddles, bells on a leather strap, and other hardware. It's an interesting array. What has changed is the wool shop; the person running it before dwindled it down in preparation for retiring. However, the public's interest in knitting has not dwindled! Thankfully, someone took over the management of the yarn shop within this store and expanded it greatly.! They now offer a good selection of Briggs & Little wool, a LOT of different sock yarns, roving in different colours, and needles. There might have been some acrylic, and there definitely was some cotton. I've been looking for enough denim blue wool to make a sweater for myself, and have not been able to find enough yarn elsewhere to achieve this. I did find it here (barely, to be honest!) I've got no excuse, now! I must knit!! Lucky for me there's bad weather on the way; plenty of time to get to it. The staff were helpful and knowledgeable. The yarn was a good price. This might be the best customer service experience I've ever had…read more I went in with a friend to purchase his very first "adult bed" (i.e. not one from Ikea), and we were greeted by Suki, a lovely woman with over 17 years experience. She asked us so many questions, try out several beds and literally covered everything from how he sleeps and how it would affect his sleep, to pillows, sheets and bedframes. We walked out of there with everything - pillow and mattress covers, mattress and boxspring, sheets, a cold gel pillow, special lower bed frame, warranties and all. The best part? We didn't feel swindled at all. Great prices combined with sweet, funny and individualized customer service made it an actual joy to shop there. I seriously can't recommend this place enough if you're looking for a new bed, pillow or accessories. Parking is behind the building off of Fairlawn.

That he made a critical error in entering a Queen sized mattress on the delivery slip rather then the Full size I had purchased was rectified by a simple phone call. The subsequent delivery experience was satisfactory. The two delivery men brought the new mattress up to my condo, removed the old mattress and put the new one on my bed frame. Overall, a decent experience with this store, unlike the one I had at the bank Street outlet. Satisfied. Allan H. Adams.
