Came here with a friend after a day hiking Chiricahua with a little over 45 minutes until they closed. We grabbed our bucket/apple picker and got to work! At the time we went (last weekend), there were only Granny Smith and Pink Lady apples available for picking, but I've seen there also be plenty of peaches, pears, and other apple varieties during the summer and early fall months. It was a little hard to find ripe Granny Smith apples that hadn't been already eaten into by some bugs, but as we walked to the back of the field we began to find more trees with huge fresh apples! The Pink Lady apples were even harder to find but made it even more fun. After rounding up our apples, we made it back to the registers just to be rung up by the last employee still working them (we were the last customers of the day lol!). Approx. $1.20 per lb. for the apples--not bad at all for coming straight off the tree! In addition to the apple orchard, they also have a burger barn where you can order lunch, as well as a gift shop and bakery. I recommend checking out the bakery and taking home some tasty treats like fresh baked apple bread, pies, or even some canned condiments like apple butter or apple salsa! Apple Annie's is a ton of fun! Pick your own or grab what they have.. there are two fields to enjoy, one full of peaches, pears and apples, and the other with peppers and other savory items including seasonal pumpkins. Box 'em up and weight 'em and sample while you grab what you want. You can spend hours here. Check out the store and get some jams and jellies and stuff in jars, eat bread and fudge and pie, and have burgers and kettle corn and more. It's a lot of fun here. Prepare for spending time outside so wear appropriate outdoor clothing and sunscreen. No admission fee, you just head out and pick. Me and my friend John went here on Monday it was a nice day nice and sunny and hot out 87.on the weekdays you can still go pick an apples & Peaches they have a The Country Store and a gift store still open but it's not like the weekends where you could get food the hamburger places open at a whole bunch of other places open. so during the week not as busy which is nice the peaches were pretty cheap cheaper than what it is in the store these days 4 pound but if you got a bucket full who is $60 for peaches so me and my friend got maybe not even half a bucket and it was $16 and then we can pick some apples which was $6 really nice smoothies or apple pie or peach pie. The staff was really nice and friendly and helped us out the totals we could drive her car back to the peach area or the Apple area cuz during the week days the tram doesn't run back there. I came here yesterday with my husband to pick some apples and the only ones looking good right now are Granny Smith at this time. The website said pink lady and Fuji are also available, but the pink ladies are past their prime and I did not see any Fuji. I think we just came past the prime time for picking. It's unseasonably hot out still. I wish the Apple cider donuts that we could smell being made were available to buy hot and fresh. All we saw were packaged ones on the shelf inside the store, which did not have much appeal for me. Parents with children seemed to be having a lot of fun, but I would not recommend this place for adults. I know there are other fun areas with activities. I came here maybe seven or eight years ago when my son was little and we walked through the pumpkin patch area and may have done the corn maze. read more

Apple Annie's is a wonderful place to visit and truly provides an experience that is worth sharing. The first time I went to Apple Annie's was many years ago with my grandmother. I really didn't remember much aside from the feeling of love when I picked apples with her. Returning all these years later with my mom, husband, and two kids brought back these wonderful memories. I was able to share in the experience with them as they eagerly awaited the orchard in the car ride from Tucson. The ride wasn't bad at all- we enjoyed the views and were able to spend time with one another which is always a plus. When we pulled into the parking lot of Annie's it was buzzing. Many people were there but since the orchard is so immense, it wasn't over crowded. There were plenty of hand washing stations, things to eat and drink (including delicious lemonade and kettle corn) at reasonable prices. There is also a burger barn, places to buy pie and pies, a fudge/bakery shop, and a country gift store. A tractor runs throughout the day allowing easy access to orchards with apples, pears, and peaches (to name a few). The staff is incredibly nice and helpful and I loved that my kids loved it as much as I do. We had a great time and I would definitely recommend it. Well worth the trip. read more

What a scam! I guess my expectations were too high for an Az apple orchard. All about making money off suckers. $7.00 for 6 doughnuts that were unpriced and sitting in stacks in the sun and dust. I'm sure if they priced them they wouldn't sell very many. I've have much better stale doughnuts from Safeway. The ambrosia apples they sold me weren't even from their orchard they were from Briggs and Eggers. The only other apples they had were Granny Smith's. Who knows where they came from, Mexico? Another lesson learned about greed. Don't waste your time and money at this place. read more

Kept seeing news promos about going here for fall activities, but once the Halloween season starts it will be more crowded so we drove the short drive from Tucson to check it out. On a Sat morning it was still super crowded, but that's expected. We picked apples, peaches and pears, a fun experience for the family and my teen kids. We appreciated that they encouraged taste testing, because there are so many varieties we hadn't heard of. The store had samples of their products to test and we ended up with a crumb pie (just like Nana used to make) and a bourbon apple glaze. It's about what you would expect- the only reason it's not 5 stars is because they only had 2 bathrooms and one was clogged up, so we spent a good 30 plus min waiting to use it. read more

Orchard grill was a disappointment. First of all the pancakes are bland and apparently if you pick the pumpkin ones you get 3 huge ones rather than if you pick 3 buttermilk you get 3 small ones, second of all they say they offer seasonal fruit on top but they said they don't have any lol how hard is it to make some apple filling? 3rd the option for juice is a prison juice or an elementary lunch sack juice. The coffee just as small and bland. The sausage is hard and dry, for 8.99 it's a rip off, you drove 2 hours to get here didn't eat because you expected better now you're stuck eating a prison breakfast, been to prison; that's what they serve. Also careful with the seating they have in between the trees, if you weight more than 200lbs then it's gonna Tilt over, lucky I caught myself and didn't fall in the mud. For my 200th review on Yelp, I'm very happy to be recommending Apple Annie's in Willcox. What a treat to be able to go there and pick your very own fruits and vegetables. If you're not into working in the fields, you can buy directly from them. This is most definitely a family farm and kids of all ages are welcome. My favorite time to visit is Sept-October when the apples are ready and the pumpkins are laying in the fields waiting to be harvested and the corn maze is waiting to gobble you up and spin you around to get you hopelessly "lost." If you are able to return to the land of the living, a fun hayride awaits you. The kettle corn is popping and the corn on the cob is roasting. Don't forget your camera! A definite tourist trap! In the "country store" was everything and anything you can buy at Hobby Lobby. Went to get the applewood smoked bacon cheeseburger (which compelled me to write this review for starters). Enter the shed building, pay for your burger. Stand in line where the lettuce,tomato, and onion are laying on an unrefrigerated tray, while you get to watch them unwrap the cheese food cheese with their bare hands and put it on your burger and reach into the package of Kirkland's precooked bacon also with their bare hands that just rubbed their face. Nasty! As for their pies,and doughnuts and other "orchard" items for sale... check out the labeling for yourselves.Apple cider doughnuts homemade should have simple ingredients like flour,apples, sugar etc. You can check the labeling for yourselves, as I am so disgusted I refuse to have to point out the obvious. We went to the Orchard and picked apples and then bought the most scrumptious Apple Crumb Pie along with delicious fresh Cider Donuts, SO YUM! So we came here about peach picking time without any issue. This time, a problem. We like bringing our kids here because it's fun, not really cheap, but good family fun. Problem is that they would not allow my service dog, clearly marked with identification ( and i have all necessary paperwork with me at all times) into the orchard. My family checked the website for Apple Annie's and saw that they were advertising they had Golden Delicious and Granny Smith apples in their orchard this week. We drove 3 hours from Scottsdale to go apple picking. Grabbed a wagon and picking sticks and happily set off into the orchard to get some apples. We walked 1.7 miles through the orchard to find NOT ONE APPLE! Oh I'm sorry there was a handful of rotten ones on the ground. So disappointing!!! My children were in tears!! We met another group out in the orchard that said they called and emailed the establishment multiple times with no response. I told the girls working the stand in the front that they should maybe mention to people before they set off with their wagons that there are NO APPLES!!!!!! I would highly recommend updating your website as well. The only thing that redeemed our experience was the apple crumb pie which was delicious. read more

Prices are reasonable although you can get it cheaper in the stores there is something exciting about picking you own stuff. It's a bit of a drive from Sierra vista but worth it to just swing by at least once if you have the time. read more

It's actually multiple farms in multiple locations in the local area of Wilcox. Which farm depends on what you are looking for: pumpkins, sunflowers, apples, fresh picked veggies. They make fudge and pies, too. And they transport you around on hayrides. It's a beautiful drive from Phoenix and you can make it a lovely round trip by going there by way of Tucson and coming back by way of Globe. There are local pecan groves and an organic farm, too. read more

We came here just for the all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast (after a particularly graceful evening of wine tasting...) which is from 8:30-10:30. Make sure you're not in a rush..there was a line out the door, and the girls serving the food had the slowest reaction time I've seen in ages.. The breakfast comes with all-you-can-eat pancakes...two sausage links, apple cider sauce (soooooo good) and baked apple stuff to go on top of the pancakes. You can select from pumpkin pancakes (maybe this is seasonal?) or plain. Or get crazy and mix them. You also get coffee. This isn't fancy stuff- you queue up, crab a Styrofoam plate, slap some product on and fil you Styrofoam cup from the coffee dispenser and sump in some creamer and sugar packets. BUT everything was really good . None of us actually managed to eat more than one plate of pancakes, but the idea that you can go back for more is nice. I believe the total for both of us was about 17$. Just a reminder- restroom facilities are porta potties- they do have a hand wash station. There are cute little tables among the apple trees where you can sit. Really nice way to spend the morning. When you walk into the orchard people come running out with samples of sugared donuts and kettle corn. You can also pop over to their shop which is a bit pricey in my opinion, but very high quality. If you do need more food after the all-you-can-eat breakfast, you can sample fudge and other home made foods over at the shop. I hear they have AZs largest corn maze...wish I had seen a sign or something when I was there, could have been good fun. read more

Earlier in the month, I stumbled upon Apple Annie's because a friend of mine was disappointed we missed the apple picking at Schnepf Farms. He's really big into canning and wanted to try his hand at making apple butter. After visiting Apple Annie's website, I found they were having a festival on the very same weekend as a nearby vineyard, and a weekend trip was planned! This really was our primary reason for coming to Willcox and we were glad to have located a place to pick our our apples and Asian pears. Sure, it was a little hot on the Sunday we were here, but I blame all the wine we drank the night before. And my canning friend, he ended up buying some apple butter because he realized how much work was involved in making it. I, however, opted to make some pear butter and ginger-pear butter so I bought about 13 pounds of Asian pears. Which means I have an excuse to buy a slow cooker to start that process this weekend. Picking apples was, for me, something that signaled the peak of fall, that time of year when the leaves are changing and the air is crisp with the subtle scent of burning leaves. So eating a snow cone afterward was a bit odd. So none of us opted for the homemade ice cream they were churning on site. read more

We got there 30 minutes before closing time (our apologies to the nice Apple Annie's staff) but we're still accommodated. We got our buckets and marched to the peach and apple trees to pick our choices. We got a fair amount of peaches and green apples (called "golden delicious") and we're pleasantly surprised to find out that all fruits were 20% off that weekend! We paid $7 for 8 peaches and about the same number of apples! So cheap! Then, we went into the bakery and got so many goodies; namely, freshly-baked peach pie, jalapeño eggs, jalapeño jelly, apple spice pecan honey butter, apple balsamic and creamy roasted red pepper dressing! Good thing that they were already closing for the day or else I would have browsed some more and ended up buying more! So far, we have tried the peach pie which was delicious and "peach-perfect"! The jalapeño eggs were excellent too! We're planning to go back and when we do, we'll definitely go earlier in the day to try the pancake breakfast and/or the burgers! I was so thankful to find a U-pick orchard here in Arizona. To me it's not fall if you can't get some great apples. This orchard is well marked and easy to find (which I can't say about the separate Annie's Farm/Pumpkin patch as we drove around for about 30 minutes looking for but never found). There is plenty of parking and picnic tables in the shade of the trees where you can enjoy food purchased on site or a picnic lunch. The scenery is gorgeous... nothing like picking apples with striking mountains in the background! The orchard is well organized. Wagons are provided as well as buckets and special sticks with baskets on them allowing you to reach applies high in the trees. The areas in front were very over-picked, so head straight to the back will you find better options. We collected great apples and Asian pears. The prices are great at $0.99/lb for apples and you can even pay with VISA/Mastercard. There is also a store selling pies, breads, butters, etc. Lots of families and kids. My husband and I had a great time and can't wait to go back. Hopefully this time we will be able to find the pumpkin patch! read more

I'm visiting Tucson from Ohio, and we came to this orchard. The drive from Tucson is so beautiful! We picked apples, peaches, and pears. Although is was still very hot, it was a very cool spot. There were tractor rides back and forth to the orchards and to the main area. I had a piece of apple pie and homemade ice cream and it was so delicious! This is a really cool place to go visit in Arizona! Not only can you go pick apples (and other fruits) fresh from the orchard, but there are a ton of baked goods to buy from their bakery! My family loves to take our RV places and have weekend vacations. The first time that it was my choice to pick t he place to go, I chose here strictly on reviews alone. It was one of our best family trips ever. Everybody had fun from my 12 year old brother to my 70 year old grandfather. The Apple picking was very fun and reasonably priced as well as all the apple themed things they had. As far as the location, we loved the town. During the day my mother and I went antiquing and enjoyed walking around the old town. I can't wait until next fall so we can go again. We loved it. It beat the Peach Festival for our favorite weekend trip! read more
