I get great care, personal attention and individualized information that really makes me feel like I am a VIP...very important patient! Dr. Walker (sir) really personalizes my care by addressing what I do for a living (Computer Work), my age (dry eye, oncoming glaucoma), my overall health (no diabetes or glucose issues, no degeneration) and never fails to encourage me on the positive...and brag on me! Highly recommended! Wonderfully friendly and helpful staff - both at the front desk and in the exam rooms. I've been seeing Diane Walker for several years and have always felt well-taken care of. And even though I come in less than once per year, she - and all of the staff - always remember me (or at least seem to!). I've also seen Dr. Smith when I couldn't get in with Diane and she is equally wonderful! I recently had to cancel and reschedule an appt twice in two days. Both times the receptionist was cheerfully helpful and quickly rescheduled me without any sign of annoyance or judgement. I really appreciated the ready understanding of all the staff. Excellent experience at Appalachian Eye, with any of the three doctors. They are thorough but gentle, in a comfortable & clean atmosphere. My children (10&11) and I all see Dr. Smith, and have for several years. On occasion we have seen Diane Walker when Dr. Smith was not available. They are all excellent.
