The worst pedicure I've ever gotten! My nails were cut so short they took weeks to heal. I'm shocked that I didn't get an infection. There's no pedicure chair and they fill a tub with water to put your feet in. The worst part is that my son got married the next day and my feet looked so bad. I got to my appointment 15 minutes early for a noon appointment. By 12:10 I was still waiting and no one bothered to update me on my massage. When I asked, I was told that they had to clean the rooms between appointments. Shouldn't that have been part of their schedule? They were very abrupt about it. When I did get in the room they had me put my feet in a cold pail of water for a foot soak, which I had not requested. The actual massage was good, but it only lasted 45 minutes. read more

I've never written a review before but I saw a deal on Groupon and rather than going through them I wanted to call Apothecary Living personally because I know they receive all of my money rather than a portion. Made an appt for 90 min massage When we arrived unfortunately we had the appt length mixed up.. They did run 15 min late and started our massage after 35 min and ended under the time. the owner was very knowledgeable and educated but made me feel a little uncomfortable. my masseuse was wonderful though and did an amazing job. My feed back to them would be be on time. Keep the entire length of the appt. When doing a foot soak the couple should be next to each other. Do not waste your time or money! Got a massage as a gift off of Groupon. Tried to call to schedule the massage, left a message and never received a phone call back. Called back again and finally got the massage scheduled for today at 11 am. I showed up 15 mins early, they had me fill out paperwork.. I sat there waiting to then be told they didn't have me scheduled today. They told me they called days before to confirm and they left a message. Never received any phone call or message. Then, they said they tried to call to reschedule me. All contradicting lies. They didn't once offer an apology. They didn't try to make an upset customer happy. The owner told me to get out and was so nasty and rude to me. They are completely unprofessional and the atmosphere in the place isn't relaxing as you would think it would be for a massage spa. My wife and I purchased a 60 minute couple's massage . It took my wife several weeks of calling Apothecary to get someone on the phone to schedule the appointment. When we finally got the appointment they never showed up. We drove from Berks county on a Sunday and the shop was closed. When they called my wife back she was told they were not open on a Sunday. My wife explained that their website says by appointment only on Sundays. Then it was that they had us scheduled for a month ago. My wife spoke to someone at the salon and scheduled the appointment. No apologies, no reason for the mis-hap. Simply "well when do want to come in now?" I called and asked for the owner's name and was told I wasn't allowed to have that information. Asked when I could speak to the owner and was told that I was speaking to the manager, how could she help. I explained what happened and all she said was they were not open on a Sunday. I bought a Groupon 6/30/2021- could not get an appointment scheduled till 7/29/2021 no problem, I have a hectic schedule so I understand. They confirmed my appointment the day before and then cancelled it on the 29th 2 hours before. I called back less than 5 minutes later to reschedule, since they left a message, and a week later I have not had a return call, even though the message says they'll call back in 24 hours. I have left 6 messages and no one is professional enough to call me back. The worst is that they marked my Groupon as being redeemed earlier in the day. I had an e-mail at 8:25 am asking to leave a review on the Groupon that wasn't to be redeemed until 5:30. They have not even responded to my review on Groupon and I saw today they did the same thing to another woman the same week. They have responded to all of the "good" reviews though. I really thought I was going to like this place and go there for many massages in the future but not now. Don't waste your money on this place. read more
