I've worked my way through nearly the entire menu, and there hasn't been a single dish I regretted ordering. My personal favorites are the lettuce cups, Pad Prik, Pad Prik Pao, and the tomato noodle dish (truly phenomenal). If you're in the mood for soup, the rib meat with lemongrass is absolutely unforgettable deeply flavorful and comforting. I highly recommend adding a side of rice or noodles to round it out. What truly sets this restaurant apart, beyond the outstanding food, is the staff. The team is warm, attentive, and genuinely elevates the entire dining experience. Whether dining in or ordering takeout, the quality and presentation remain consistent from the first order of the day to the last. The space itself is charming and inviting, with lovely outdoor seating for sunny days and cozy indoor seating when the weather turns. It's clear that care and authenticity go into every detail. If you're in the Rogue Valley and haven't visited yet, you're missing out. This place delivers a 10/10 experience every single time.

Everyone used the pineapple rice to go with the curry, and I ended up not getting any. Great food, but be sure to check your order before leaving.

The second I saw on IG that their special was (what I call) a bánh mì-inspired pizza, I knew it had my name written all over it. It was absolutely outstanding, and honestly, I wish I had eaten it there because it deserved to be enjoyed fresh. The pepperoni is still a favorite every single time. The potato wedges remain undefeated, but LORDT... dipping them in the chimichurri sauce (because I like making adventurous sauce choices) took them to a whole new level. The wings weren't my personal favorite, but once I gave them the chimichurri treatment, everything was right again. And finally... the chocolate cake. I obviously had to get right into it (I have no picture to show for it). I generously shared two bites with my significant other before happily devouring the rest myself. No regrets.

It was barely enough for one person, about the same size as a Blaze pizza. It was surprising to see this kind of trendy spot in the area--and honestly, where did all the hipsters come from? This might be a fun place to take out-of-town guests, but as a regular go-to when you're hungry and want something really satisfying, I'd probably skip it.

You can tell there's real care behind the flavor development. The "For 2" dish is such a smart way to experience multiple components of the menu --beautifully composed and perfect for sharing. And the Beef Miami? Genuinely unforgettable. The depth of flavor, the richness, the balance, it's indulgent without being heavy, bold without overwhelming the palate. It's one of those dishes that makes you pause mid-bite. Service is quick and efficient with a walk-up, pay-first setup that keeps things casual and streamlined. The vibe is relaxed and low-key, usually not crowded, which makes for a really enjoyable dining experience. That said, I almost wish it had more buzz because the food absolutely deserves the recognition. Portions lean slightly smaller, so I'd recommend ordering an appetizer along with your entrée to get the full experience. With food this thoughtful and well-executed, it's worth exploring more of the menu anyway. Overall, a creative and refreshing presence in Ashland that feels chef-driven and inspired. Definitely a spot worth supporting and revisiting.

3.5 stars Coming…read morefrom the Bay Area and familiar with Filipino food out in Daly City, my standards are a bit high. I will say they use good ingredients and their dishes are not as greasy as traditional Filipino foods I've had. We got the Harana for two, which had chicken adobo, lumpia, atchara (pickled veggies), jasmine rice and an order of the sisig pork belly. I was a bit disappointed with the sisig because the pork was dry. It could be their style, but it could have been way better if the meat wasn't so dehydrated. The flavor and egg was good though. Chicken adobo was better, the mushrooms they used was very good and soaked the flavor well. One of the chicken pieces was slightly over done and a tad dry, but the other was fall off the bone. Lumpia was good, pretty standard. Their Atchara was quite tiny and wish they offered more as it went very well with their dishes.

Valley View Winery, Jacksonville, OR - October 4, 2024…read more This is a beautiful Harvest Host property. We arrived around noon, met winery owner Gail, and got set up. Our site was terrific. It was located just passed the parking lot area on the right on a decomposed granite strip overlooking a grassy picnic area with awesome gigantic oak trees. There were nice tables and chairs positioned around them with a couple picnic tables as well. They had a cornhole game set up. After having lunch in our coach, we went into the tasting room to try their wines. We each got a flight of six wines. The usual $12 per person tasting fee was waived for the month of October. Lucky us! The wines were all pleasant. We liked the 2021 Domaine Rogue Gravel Lane Pinot Noir and Rosé the best. They had a special on the Rosé, buy two and receive the third one for free. We got 3 for $44. Deal! We also bought a bottle of the Pinot Noir - $38. The tasting room closes at 5 and afterwards we had the place to ourselves. We set up our small camp table and barbecue, put on some nice steaks, and enjoyed them with our delicious Valley View Pinot Noir. There was some traffic going back and forth on the road going by the winery. Not sure where it was all coming from and going to. It's not at all terrible and died down after about 8. We had a good night's sleep and were pleasantly surprised by about 30 wild turkeys that invaded the winery lawn the next morning as we were enjoying our morning coffee.

Great place to have a wine tasting! Delicious... we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves…read more Generous servings and beautiful view outside

When I got home I saw they charged me %20 large party fee. I was really put off but o was ready for some great food. I only ordered 2 things. $60. An appetizer of teriyaki chicken skewers. They were not marinated or anything, not cooked in sauce, nothing. It was reg, plain tasting chicken. They added a side of teriyaki sauce but I was very thin and lacked flavor and didn't add to the dish at all. Bummed. Then I got the shrimp pad Thai. The noodles were so over cooked they just disintegrated. There was no heat option so it was bland and no spice whatsoever. So with all that I was even more annoyed I paid $10 mandated tip for crap food. Never again. Stay away unless you dine in and can get waited on for a tip and they can fix their errors. And, again pleasantly surprised, there was another store I have not spotted from the car. Between the coffee place and the shop on the corner is another store, I think, is an absolute must when visiting this part of town. For those who visit this might be a little 'off the beaten track.' Most people might go straight to Main Street and end up on "The Plaza,' but there's more to charming Ashland. I have a feeling one should almost be 'in the know' to end up on 4th street. Hence the face I'll review a few stores on this street. Being half Asian (Balinese to be precise) I was delighted to see 'Old World Artifacts, a name fitting to this store. It's like stepping into a different world, different south East Asian cultures combined with local art. Should you be in the area, I can highly recommend you to pay this store a visit. The owner, Franklin, is friendly and welcoming. No snobbish attitude I have often found in similar stores. Instead a man who loves to talk about his favorite places to visit and makes you feel at ease. My photographs will -hopefully- give an impression of the inventory of "Old World Artifacts." There's a plethora of artifacts from different Asian cultures. It feels like so much has been hand selected by Franklin on his travels. I heard him about Cambodia where he rode the bicycle; drop by to chat with this well-traveled man if you're interested in traveling to that part of the world and see what the culture has to offer. Not only Asian artifacts are for sale. When I walked in my eye instantly caught incredible art on the wall. It turns out thus is from local artist, Kat McIver. There's something deeply touching about her sculptures, they're all very different and I have added some pictures. I was told this artist works one day a week in this store. I saw big Buddha statues with a hefty price tag, which is totally justifiable and understandable knowing where it comes from. Having said that, I also saw rugs from turkey at a really great price for a good quality Turkish rug ($195 for a real Turkish rug is a steal). Being half Asian, half Dutch I'm aware of the prices of these rugs and I paid a lot more when living back home in Amsterdam. A set of locally made cards of $4. In other words: there's something for every budget. That's something I think is -especially in these times- a good thing. This store has only been open since October last year, so not too long. I will definitely be back on a regular base.

Great selection of items from around the globe to fit everyone's budget - Nice history to all the…read moreartifacts and the owner is friendly and open to chatting about the world and travels.
