From the beginning, the move felt disorganized and concerning. During the move, our property was damaged and a valuable item went missing. The missing item was loaded at the very end of the move, which raises serious concerns. All communication with management was conducted by email. When we contacted them to address the missing item, we received threatening emails referencing defamation. Buyer beware. read more

Extremely disappointed with Apollo Moving's customer service. While their cancellation policy seemed straightforward (2 weeks notice), getting my deposit refund was like pulling teeth. Despite cancelling well in advance and multiple calls to Ryan confirming my request, it took several days and repeated follow-ups to finally receive the refund! This lack of responsiveness and urgency was unacceptable and unprofessional, especially when dealing with the stress of a lease that fell through. If you value efficient and reliable service with great customer rep's, I'd strongly recommend looking elsewhere! They provide good service up until you decide to cancel on them for valid reasons with sufficient notice :( read more

My mother in law has used packing/unpacking and delivery service from this company early this week, and she posted a review about how shes not happy about the service she's received. Then, she's got a phone call from Apollo Moving Inc. manager and he yelled about how unfair she didnt write about good things about the service (no taxes, prices). I dont know how good or bad service they ve provided but i dont think that its right thing for them to do as they contact to customers not to fix the problems but forcing customers to edit the review and sending nasty messages. wanted to share with future customers; do not leave bad reviews, (if you do, then you will get tremendous calls and massages. In every respect, the service from this company was superior to my expectations. From making the reservation to staying in touch during the journey, office employee were there every step of the way. They made sure I understood how their company worked by explaining everything in detail. My move date had to be changed because of certain personal obligations. I was happy that they understood the situation and gladly complied with my request because I was worried they could charge me extra or perhaps cancel my move at the last minute as the previous company did. The experience of working with Apollo Moving was fantastic! Sine nobody enjoys moving there's always a worry about misplaced or broken belongings and the attitude pf the moving crew might worsen the situation. But they transformed my fear of relocation into a worry free enjoyable experience. Throughout the relocation everyone I came into contact with was helpful and friendly and never made feel bad for occasionally requiring help with packing. SERIOUS BUYER BEWARE! I wouldn't even give this company 1 star. Scheduled Move between 9-10am movers didn't show up until after 1pm communication is terrible and management is totally unprofessional. Company doesn't even answer to tell you what is going on or apologize for delays. They wouldn't pick up my calls and we tried to call using my husbands phone until they started screening his calls too. Completely ridiculous for a customer just wanting to know when the movers you hired are coming for a company to just not answer their phone. I'm fairly sure they double booked two jobs and then put the situation on the customer to deal with literally no apology or concern at all about the situation. We also live in a condo and were moving to a condo there are other people in the building moving as well and you are fined for over time. If you hire this company expect to revolve around their schedule and expect management to be rude to you- if they even bother to show up. It was a super stressful experience for not only a women who is 7 months pregnant (me) but for anyone. I do not recommend this company. read more

Strongly advise against using this company. Movers wore no masks. The move went okay, but not good. The movers were fine overall but, did not want to wrap up any of my furniture and said they had no blankets to do so. They did actually have blankets and I discovered this later after I produced my own blankets. Even after producing blankets for them to use, if I did not stand there and watch them wrap the furniture, they would put it in the truck without any wrapping. They ripped my mattress, but that was really very heavy and they did not know how to manage it. The real issue is they overcharged me and only after I aggressively complained and advised them I'm a lawyer. The quote and their website says you are only charged for moving time (while they are packing, driving and unpacking). I was actually charged for the 15 minutes they were late, as well as 30 minutes after they left. I complained and was told (after many follow up emails) that they only charge in full hour increments, so they upcharged me for 45 minutes. When I advised I was a lawyer and this practice was illegal, including the screenshots of my quote, invoice and their website-they refunded me the 100.00. In that email I was told they charge for travel time to the move which is against what my invoice says (a contract) and against what their website says. They sent my invoice at 2:30pm and charged my credit card without authorization for an amount without my permission. They never would have refunded me if I was not a lawyer and threatened to dispute the transaction with my credit card company. This is a dishonest company. Would never use again. I will give apollo moving 5 star. my move was seamless. in spite of bad weather they arrived in time, 3 very energetic young people came with truck. my move was not easy they had to pick up household stuff from 3 different location almost 100 km apart. they finished in time adjusted everything nicely in truck and arrived in ottawa from Grimsby same night. I am quite thankful to hardworking 3 young fellows who worked hard in loading and unloading in brutal winter with minus 15C. their charges were very reasonable. I have had a very poor experience with Apollo Moving for my recent move. Let it be known this is an unreliable and unprofessional company. They simply never kept their word, agreement and commitment. The 'movers' were an inexperienced  international student crew who took long hours to disassemble and assemble the furniture. They appeared to do everything in a trial by error fashion. Although the written agreement I signed was for the cargo to be retained in two trucks for a two night transit period, Apollo offloaded the goods in-between those nights in order to free up the trucks for other jobs. This resulted in twice loading and twice offloading which caused damages to my furniture. They also extended the transit period by one additional night as they ended up using the trucks for other clients. They even blackmailed me that if I did not agree to the additional night of transit, I would have to make arrangements to pick up the goods from their location  and have them transported. This was most certainly an unethical business practice. Concerning pricing, I had a fixed flat rate quote of  $3100.00 for the move plus $100.00 for the Insurance coverage of $25,000,00 plus taxes $416.00, which totaled $3616.00. Before they quoted for this move on the 08th  April 2021, their staff Mr.Ishan Kapoor and one other employee visited my home and inspected the scope of work. They plainly saw the 4 bedroom furniture, the clothes, and glassware/souvenirs that had to be moved and quoted accordingly. A few days before the move Mr.Parshant and one other staff once again visited my home and checked the scope of work. Instead of the two 20ft trucks to be provided as advised at the time of inspection they supplied one 20ft Truck and one 16ft truck for the move. On questioning his crew I was informed that the decision to downgrade one truck to 16 feet was done by Mr.Parshant as he felt that two 20ft trucks were not necessary which resulted in a few pieces of furniture, one Fridge, and one Freezer, and a few boxes left behind in the garage causing inconvenience to the new owners who moved in the same evening. When I reported the numerous damages to Parshant, he first denied liability saying that scratches and dents were not covered. On challenging him he agreed to get the scratches and damages repaired provided I pay the deductible of $2500.00 which was not stated in the agreement or the Insurance coverage obtained from Apollo Moving. After much haggling, he agreed to have them be repaired on the first of August 2021. His repairman attended to the Dressing Table mirror frame which was broken, fixed the back plank dressing table cupboard which had come out, and the computer table side beading glued. He tried to glue the broken, cracked, and chipped armrests of Rosewood 3 seater Sofa but could not fix it as the chipped pieces are missing with too many cracks and the Centre Table scratches cannot be rectified without polishing it which is estimated to be a 3-day job costing more than the price of a new center table. On reporting the problem to Parshant,  I requested replacement or compensation which he has refused. Unfortunately, at this point, I will be forced to take legal action for the recovery of  the cost of the unrepairable damaged furniture. read more
