Salad dressing in a corona bottle
Ava G.

DELICIOUS LARGE PORTIONS! This place had a great family owned hole in the wall feel to it. I got the Chicken Rigatoni which comes with Greek salad and garlic bread. The salad portion was huge!!! I got Greek dressing with it, which comes in a corona beer bottle! Be sure to shake it well to get the herbs mixed in with the oil. This dressing was absolutely to die for, and the salad was great. Chicken rigatoni had lots of garlic and cheese, and the chicken was really good! Garlic bread was standard, but good. I had leftover pasta afterward, this meal was huge! I'll definitely be returning. Large portions that taste good for a decent price.

Simple salad, always fresh.

Excellent food. Fresh salads with delicious thousand island dressing. Ordered Chicken Francesca and spilt the order since they give you huge portions. Service is always great and the restaurant is well run.

The small Greek Salad-delicious!

My wife and I stopped by to have a quick salad for lunch. The restaurant was clean and spacious. The place was very full (which is a good sign) and we were seated immediately. All of the staff from the host to the cooks and cashier were very friendly. Our waiter was outstanding and very attentive. The salads and dressing were delicious, although the chicken could have been cooked a little less and cut up better. Order the small portion. The large is enough for three. We will be back.

Chicken Parmesan - marinated chicken w Meat Sauce and Cheese

My Mom took me to the 2nd restaurant of theirs in Asheville, NC. IT's on 485 Hendersonville Road. They had really great food at very fair prices. They serve a variety of Italian and Mediterranean dishes . My Mom and I sat outside and my Mom had their Chicken Parmesan which comes w a large House Salad. I had their Chicken Francesca w a House Salad. Our waitress had moved to Asheville recently and was new but she was great. It was my first time there and I asked her what most people ordered and she explained all the different items that were so popular. When we received our salads She brought us a bottle of homemade Ranch Dressing along with different types of crackers . We were able to pour as much dressing as we liked. We had grated cheese for our salads. When we received our entrees , they were huge. We also had a basket of fresh hot Garlic Bread to accommodate our pasta sauces. I could barely finish my dinner. My Mom and I shared each others and I really liked the Chicken Parmesan. They Did'nt bread the chicken like some restaurants do. The chicken breast in both dishes were cooked perfectly. Then smothered with noodles and sauce . My Francesca was gooey saucy yummy!!! I will definitely be going to Apollo again when I'm back in Asheville

This place is an awesome locally owned restaurant that knows how to make good Greek comfort foods. From pizza, raviolis, spaghetti, subs and more. My favorite happens to be their huge Greek salads. Sometimes I'm honestly craving a big cold crisp salad. I always have some leftover which is great. I can eat some of my lunch salad for dinner. My partner got the Buffalo chicken pizza. The thick crust was filling and he loved it. The outdoor porch is great atmosphere and is heated for cold nights. They also do lots of togo orders if you don't want to dine in. Great for lunch with coworkers or even a relaxed evening dinner with the family. Just be ready for how big the salads are, I haven't found one place ever to beat its size!

The pizza was excellent. Great crust and crispiness. Generous size for a small as well. Liked the atmosphere, too.

I haven't found an enormous amount of Middle Eastern cuisine in Asheville, but this place brought…read morethe vibe. It's small and unassuming in a strip mall in West Asheville. My takeout was ready on time. While the falafel roll still might have been better fresh, I wanted something that I could plausibly eat several hours later on a mountain without a ton of restaurants nearby, and that choice worked out well. Many falafel rolls come with add-ons that I don't like, but the pickled turnip offering here was both flavorful and colorful. I also got their fries, drizzles with tahini and parsley, which is a good way to eat fries. A case of baked goods and a small market section of canned items were also available. There was certainly space to eat inside or out for someone without my travel schedule. It's also notable that in addition to the usual falafel, they offer ample vegan options as befits the Asheville community, including a house seitan and some other vegetable and fake meat options. I was happy with what I got, but the choice is always appreciated.

The flavors were an absolutely beautiful Middle Eastern combo, and taking it Suzy's Way added a slight kick to the flavor. The pita was properly warmed as well. Overall, this is where to go if you've got a seriously empty stomach and are craving Middle Eastern cuisine.

We had the pup in tow so we were forced to sit outside on the patio where it was quite chilly. However, they offered us outdoor space heaters which kept us perfectly warm. Our server was super friendly and gave us great recommendations. I started with a cup of hot coffee but was quickly convinced to follow it up with a glass of red wine. I had to order the bolognese after recommendation from the server and it was fantastic. The pasta was al dente and the red sauce was tasty. I also tried the seasonal soup - the butternut squash, which was hearty and perfect on such a cold day. The egg salad sandwich was STACKED and topped with smoked salmon. I tracked them down at AB tech (schedule online). The truck may be small but it's mighty. And might cute. They offer a variety of middle eastern food- not a lot of options but in my opinion when a place has a speciality, they tend to do it better. And this place does it best. I opted for a falafel wrap and it might have been the best one I've ever had. The falafel and tahini was perfectly seasoned. The bread was some of the fluffiest bread ever. Perfect amount inside and in total. I'm not a fry girl but I'd make an exception for these folks. The price is very fair for some incredible plant based, delicious, homemade food.
