I feel I've had the best in style that they stock, but that is my biase! Today we went in there for a throw, not to throw pillows! You know, a throw! We found one that was exactly the right colour in a lovely Egyptian cotton for just £12. I also came away with an Egyptian cotton bath sheet for £10. Not bad at all. They also sell curtains, blinds, some glassware - in fact, I got massive wine glasses there a year or so ago. They stock some lamps, cushion covers, oven gloves, teatowels and that sort of thing. I love this shop. They let you browse.

A Really Useful Shop!…read more This is almost a hardware store, but it's not quite. Neither is it a discount store - indeed you can pay over the odds. But if you've looked everywhere else for something, then you may well find it there. We just got a wind up/solar (laugh out loud)radio. I've been looking for one for a while to use in the garden now and then. A hard brush for the patio, half the price of the hardware store, and a soap filled washing up brush for when there's not much to wash up. They also do a range of garden tools, kitchen ware, household cleaning and phones and batteries etc. Their returns policy is not the greatest. Once I bought a ceramic casserole dish there. I could not grip the lid when it was hot, as oven gloves, tea towels, would not grasp the sunk in handle. I took it back. They refused to take it saying no one else had brought them back. Yhey offered me a credit note which I grugingly agreed to, knowing the thing was not fit for purpose. The proprietor called over an assistant to put the thing on the shelf or office or whatsit, and the young man enquired what was wrong. I told him. He lifted the casserole and tried to lift the lid - it slid from his fingers to the floor with a smashing smash. I had the punchline -'I think that illustrates my point!'.

Toiletries are also very cheap in here and they stock their own range too which are also good value. Christmas time in here is amazing great chioce of christmas decorations and top toys for all ages at great prices.. Avoid the pick and mix though can be addictive. Queing can be fun in here so dont leave wilkinsons as your last minute shop to visit as you will get annoyed

Every time I visit Poole I always pay a visit to Wilkinsons on the way back to the car park. Wilkinsons has a cluttered feel to it, but it's worth walking through the clutter as you get some good bargains each time you visit. There are plenty of tills available which are qute slim in width making it slightly difficult to manouvre pushchairs through. The staff are always helpful however and make the experience an easy one.

I must put pen to paper and set out a positive review for this place…read more Spent what was for me a small fortune on a new fully carbon giant defy advanced 1 a couple of years back. After a few months I noticed a strange sound and took it in to Cycle paths to have a look. They informed me they'd found a crack in the frame. Without any quibble whatsoever they arranged for a brand new frame and then fully assembled it at no cost. I've taken it in for a service the last two years as I do tend to run the bike into the ground and I must say the mechanic there, Matt, knows his stuff. Each time its like riding a new bike again. The service is extremely good value and if you need parts they dont seem to sting you. I have absolutely no connection to this shop whatsoever but i do know good service when I see it. Would thoroughly recommend.
