What a great place this is. What a great find this was. I had an old VCR of my mother not long before she died. Alex was able to take it and put it on a USB drive to be preserved and shared with my family. He did it fast, next day service. He did it inexpensively, thank you. And he preserved and actually fixed the VCR that we had. I have several old CDs of family movies and pictures that we converted years ago that were incredibly expensive to do. I did a lot of research on tape transfer companies what I found was some more inexpensive but it took a long time to get them back but A+ image did a great job. They were very responsive My order took about one week to finish. They were very professional and I couldn't be happier with the result. Nothing negative about the experience. I have been putting off renewing my passport because I gained the COVID 15 and didn't want that to be my photo for the next ten years. I finally pulled the trigger because passport renewals are taking longer and longer. Spoke to Alex on the phone and he was super friendly. I came here to get a couple hundred photos scanned. There was a wide variety of sizes, old photos and several in pretty bad shape. The results were excellent - much better than you'd get at a Costco or someplace that doesn't do individual photo correction. Alex took great care with my photos, keeping them carefully grouped together as I left them. I'm extremely happy with the results. It's not necessarily the cheapest service, but very well worth it imo for precious old photographs - if you're going to bother getting them scanned, you want great quality and care. read more

Aplus Image is outstanding! I had three High-8 tapes of my children that I took of them each year from when they were babies to teenagers. I had been using the tapes from 2000-2020, and they were deteriorated, and highly treasured. Alex at Aplus Image somehow pulled a miracle and saved the content on each one and got them transferred safely to thumb drives. I am so grateful and just in awe of how he was able to save and transfer these memories for us into modern technology. Alex and Aplus are kind, they listen, and they deliver when they say they will. Looks like an amateur frame store not a photo/video shop. I walked in and the guy asked me how can I help you? I said I need a passport photo. He started chatting to say that so many people came today to take a passport photo's. OK! Very useful information. He told me to sit on the chair in the corner and pulled the camera. I asked him if any mirror around. He told me no mirror and gave me a small one from the counter. OK! Good enough. He took a couple of shots and went to develop it. I asked can I see the pics before you process it. He said you cannot see it, its too small. Great! In 5-8 minutes he gave me two pictures which was not that great. read more

Some weeks ago I took in a VERY LARGE collection of video material spanning 1969 to 2006. I had over 60 rolls of old Super 8 Film, about 60 VHS tapes, and about 70 Hi-Band-8 cassette films. It was my entire family collection and encompassed my three children's entire youth. Alex took extremely good care of the collection, carefully putting everything in date order, numbering and labeling things carefully, and returning all the originals to me exactly as I had delivered them. Alex was able to put everything that I brought in on a 2 Terabyte Drive! I had a second one duplicated by Alex so that I could share it with the kids and they could have a copy. I cannot tell you what a phenomenal job Alex did on the variety of films I brought in. The colors are rich and the audio is great, considering the age and condition of some of the materials. Each tape or film reel was treated individually and with care. I cannot say enough good things about my experience. And Alex is just a gem of a person, who works hard to put you FIRST as the customer. He always took great pains to explain everything he was going to do. That extended to his detail in the estimate and final pricing. He was very competitive and provided me a discount for the bulk of work that I brought in. All in all one of the best customer experiences I have had in a long time! I am now going to look for some old photo books and bring them into Alex for scanning and digitizing. Best pricing I have found and have great equipment to access videos from damaged cassettes. Review #067 - 2017 There are times in life when you feel that everything is falling apart, but God shows you that there is hope by putting all the right people in your path just to make things less painful. The day my mom passed away was one of those days and trying to get everything prepped for her funeral service was hard enough, but having to handle almost every aspect of it in such a short time was very stressful. I sent out three requests to see if there was a way to get a photo of my mom enlarged from an iPhone photo which was not of the best quality. It was one of my favorite photo of her on her wedding day and I didn't plan on using it as her funeral service photo when I took a snapshot of her as she was getting ready to walk down the aisle. When time came for me to choose that photo, I knew that pose was the one. Alex e-mailed me back that same day and asked me to send him an e-mail of the photo that was in question. He got back to me pretty quickly and said he could get it enlarged to an 8x10 without any problem. He even photoshopped some of messy background to make it appear clean & professional. Alex was very accommodating & responsive. He got the picture to me very quickly and at a very reasonable price. Instead of procrastinating and getting a crummy pic just anywhere. I chose to be proactive and yelp for the best spot. Considering all of the rules for these photos, no smile, etc. my pic was great! I called to verify they were open. I never noticed them nestled in the same shopping center as the post office. When I arrived I was instantly greeted and quickly got my snapshot taken. The whole thing took less than 7 minutes and cost me $11 and some change. Sidebar: They also have framing available. Additionally, they convert VHS to DVD. Wish I had known this before my awful experience with the Walgreens photo department. Alex is a master at photo shop video enhancements and editing. He took a photo of us inside a Squaw Valley Gondola and we were in the shade and the background was washed out. Phenomenal work! He made it into a superb work of art, we came out perfect no shade or shadow to speak of and the background of the mountains and snow and even parts of lake Tahoe with the blue sky was truly magnificent and everything in focus and super sharp!
