This review has been long overdue as it should have been written back in April of this year. I was trying to surprise my wife and make reservations for us and some friends to go wine tasting on her birthday weekend. I found numerous companies but on a whim decided to got with API. I was not disappointed. This was truly last minute as I made the reservation on a Tuesday or Wednesday and they were totally accommodating even though I fell behind the eight ball. I can't remember the two ladies names that assisted me but I thank you dearly. They got me reserved in a car (suburban) and saved my skin. I do remember our drivers name (Chris) and he was spectacular. He called me to let me know he was around the corner since this was a surprise. He arrived on time as promised and the car was immaculate. They had a cooler with ice water for us and chris was dressed to impress. Our day was spent in Amador county wine tasting which included a couple suggestions from Chris that were spot on. It was hard to say which one was our favorite as we enjoyed them all and I think my wife had one of her best birthdays yet. Thank you API for making this possible. Again I apologize for my tardiness as this is long overdue but better late than never. Lol. We will be using your service again in the future. read more

If you are looking for luxury transportation on your next group outing, API is the first call you need to make. I went on a brew tour with API and could not have been more impressed. The vehicles are absolutely immaculate and offer tons of entertainment options on board. Drivers were also fantastic! Safe, friendly, and accommodating even when we requested an unscheduled pit-stop. Beware API drivers have their hands out for tips. They said that they only get 10 percent so that's why they have to beg for more. I have no problem tipping in 20 to 25 percent for good service But the driver was an hour late and then begs for more. I really think that that driver should be fired, it was so unprofessional people. read more

Looking for a party bus, API limousine is definitely a great company to call on. They will cater to just about any event, from bachelor/ Bachelorette, wine tours, brewery tours, etc. The drivers were super friendly and want to make sure you enjoy your time on the bus. I happened to take part in a brewery tour ride on one of their buses that has a "dancers pole" in the back. I believe our drivers name was Jason, and he was all about having fun. The group happened to convince the driver to give us a demo, and he showed how to get down on that pole. Lol. He reminded me of Bill Hader who played Private Miller in Pineapple Express. Quite the character, and a safe driver at that. During the transportation in between breweries, there was plenty of beer on the bus, ensuring no empty cups. They also supplied snacks for those who needed to absorb some of that alcohol. Or host, Nick was great and kept us entertained while on the road. This was my first party bus and API did such a great job hosting, I would call them again if I ever need to rent a party bus. They're also conveniently located next to Wag hotel West Sacramento, in case you need to drop the pooch off before partying. Major kudos to the API team. read more

We rented API for our friend's all day bachelorette. We went to Lodi to go wine tasting then took a 5 hour break and then out and about in midtown. AJ was amazing and the Hummer was the perfect size! He made sure we were well taken care of everywhere we went and even took some of the girls home that lived in midtown before heading back. He was incredibly flexible, patient and funny. With 15 girls drinking all day Lord knows a man is going to need some major patience! We were incredibly pleased with our experience and couldn't have asked for better service! read more

Punctual, professional, nicely furnished limo with excellent drivers and attentive staff.

I've used API for various events, from wine tasting and looking at Christmas lights, to using them at my wedding. I've used other limo services in the past, and have always been disappointed- either their fleet wasn't what was expected, they've been late, or they've had awful customer service. I've even had a service no show with no explanation. With API, I've only experience fantastic customer service. They're always there on time, if not early, and have very friendly and helpful drivers. They have a top of the line fleet of vehicles with all the fixings. For Christmas light tours, they have great recommendations on where all of the best lights are in the different neighborhoods, and are prepared with holiday music! They once showed up with the wrong vehicle, due to a new employee making a booking mistake. Even though we made the vehicle workout for our group, they still gave us a full refund on the trip due to their mistake. They are a great company and I would definitely recommend them to anyone who's looking for a great limo company. read more

Limousine companies can be really hit and miss, fortunately API (based on our first experience yesterday) appears to be a well run service. Driver Brett was punctual, professional and personable. The town car was immaculate, and the price was very reasonable. We no longer need to experiment with limousine services, API will get all our future business. read more

We hired API Limo for our wedding in December of 2018 in Roseville. We used two of their vehicles, a Suburban and a 12 passenger Mercedes Coach. Before finding API Limo, I was calling and shopping around for limo services in the Bay/Sacramento area. My search ended when I called API Limo and spoke to the nicest person on the phone, Susan. Susan was super friendly and professional and asked me all the right questions about what I needed. She was quick to make recommendations and provide information in a professionally drafted quote over email. I ended up hiring the company because of her excellent customer service and the great value they provide compared to others in the area. On the day of our wedding, the drivers were on-time, dressed sharp, and very friendly. Our drivers were Adrian and David. The vehicles were also clean, comfortable, and presentable. Our bridal party and I enjoyed the smooth ride to our church in Roseville and our reception venue in Vallejo. If you're looking for service that's friendly, professional, and of great value, API Limo is the one. I highly recommend them and would definitely hire them again for future events. read more

First of all, I would like to say, I am not the person that typically writes reviews. Most of the time, I attempt to solve my own business disputes if and when a level of satisfaction is not met. The fact is, I'm fed up with companies like API Limo who will tell you anything to book an appointment and try to "bait and switch" with no regard for the customer's concerns. First, API quoted me a 38 passenger bus that would not even fit 32 people. They told me it would save me money. Afterward, I found out they do not have a bus that fits 38 people. ( Why didn't they just tell me that in the first place). Second, the rate was very unclear. ( Make sure you get rates written or faxed to you before booking with this company). You have to nail down the costs or you will get a bill that will burn your wallet. Third, get an explanation of rates. ( some of the small print will get your credit card charges up). Make them fax you the total cost to you or you will get burned. Thanks for letting me vent. Hopefully my bad experience will save someone else the pain, anguish and outrageous costs of doing business with API Limos. PS, the only reason I rated them is because you can't send a review without a minimum rating. read more

On a scale of 5 stars, API gets 6!! We rented out a party bus Saturday night for my 30th birthday and Randy was our driver. Bus was clean, functional, and seriously kick ass! Not only was the bus AMAZING, Randy was the best driver in the history of party bus drivers!! After some heavy drinking at Powerhouse in Folsom, most of the bus had to use the restroom... Randy stopped at a gas station for us, but their bathrooms were closed. Then, he stopped at Safeway so everyone could go! If that wasn't cool enough, our party bus swung by one of our guests house and dropped him off!!! Who gets dropped off at their house by a party bus!?!!? Won't mention any names..... JOE!! I love this company and their amazing service! You guys made my birthday extra special and we'll be seeing you soon! API has a special spot in my heart from here on out :) read more

Absolutely the best limo service I have ever had!! I use limos a lot for airport transportation and special occasions. We hired API for my daughters wedding in January. The wedding was down in French Camp so I was a little nervous about the limo getting lost or that the request for a black limo and not a white one would somehow get messed up. The one day where you really want everything to go perfectly and API set the stage for a perfect evening. The driver showed up early at the hotel (in a black limo) and let us know he was ready whenever we were. He didn't get lost going to the venue ( a first for us as most of the limo drivers we have had from other companies have all gotten lost going to the Sac airport !) and took the wedding party back to the hotel after the reception. This is the only limo company I will use in the future...no question about it!! read more

Two weeks ago we hired API Limo to take my 17 year old son and 14 of his friends to the drive-ins in Sacramento an then on to Leatherbys for ice cream. The experience was fantastic from arranging the limo (I got recommendations on what a bunch of teenagers would want to do) to showing up exactly on time. The driver (I think was Ray) had a handlebar mustache and did not even charge us extra when they got back 30 minutes late. All in all a great experience. read more

So after months of searching for a limo company to accommodate my wedding party of 14, I was referred to API by another limo company. We rented a limo bus that can accommodate up to 24 passengers. The contract was from 1pm to 5pm. We also made arrangements during this time to transport our out of town guests to the ceremony at the church and back to the hotel where the reception took place. After the ceremony, the driver took us back to the hotel and we arrived at 4:30pm. The limo driver had enough time to return to pick up my guest. He stated he had to be at another location at 5pm. Which if you think about is confusing because he was booked until 5pm with us! It seems the company double booked. Can you imagine having your out of town guest stranded at the church on your wedding day! So we had to call cabs and ask other guest at the ceremony to transport our out of town guest back to the hotel. Thanks to great family and a awesome wedding planner for resolving the issue, before it got back to me so I could enjoy my wedding day. If you book through API make sure they don't book another group during your time slot! read more

API was the right choice for our wedding. When we got the initial quote back, it was a lot more than we wanted to spend, but after looking around at other companies, we went back to API and worked with Susan to create an ideal plan and itinerary for our event, including 2 limo's and 3 shuttles, each one with unique pick-up times and locations. The drivers were punctual (even a bit early) and very accommodating/helpful. API also partners with the hotels in our area (Folsom & El Dorado Hills, CA) to get us a discount on transportation costs for booking a certain number of rooms at local hotels. The vehicles were in pristine condition and service was top-notch. At the end of the evening, we opted to extend one of the shuttle buses to go downtown with our Bridal Party. This was more expensive than anticipated, but worth it to shuttle around nearly 30 people. In addition, we were hit with charges for some of the other vehicles getting back late, which left a bitter taste in our mouth after working so hard to create the perfectly planned itinerary. Despite these additional charges, the service was fantastic and we will use them for future events. Ron was our driver yesterday for a corporate outing to Napa Valley for 10 of us, and we had a complete and total blast! He thought of everything and re-routed us when one of our destinations didn't work out. He has a lot of knowledge of the area, is entertaining and a super hard worker. At every stop we were at, he gave it a personal touch and was hustling around making contacts for us, setting up a picnic area, cleaning up and just was a superb addition to our group. We hired API to provide transportation for our rehearsal dinner and wedding. Their rates were good and they were extremely prompt in updating timelines and schedules. We had the same driver for both days and Ray was great! He was extremely personable, arrived early and even stayed late when our rehearsal dinner ran over. On our wedding day he knew my husband was a huge steelers fan so he changed the colors on the inside of the limo to steelers colors. That was so nice!! This company is top notch. Leigh was fantastic with organizing the wine tour. Her suggestion to Tanis was awesome. A very small winery but the wines were excellent. Our driver Doug was fantastic too. He made some minor alterations to our trip which made it even more enjoyable. He was punctual and very courteous. I had to pump during our trip and he wasn't even bothered having to wait outside the limo since I couldn't close the privacy window.
