What are the odds? I booked right away. I later found out that she had a cancellation. When I arrived I was a little out of my head because I thought I would be later, Molly was absolutely amazing. She essentially calmed me down. Which was awesome. The wax shop is very inviting and quaint, I didn't feel like I was in chain establishment in a sense it felt like home. She was very nice. The room she does her waxing in is spacious but not intimidating. It was very clean and well organized which I loved. She explained everything that she would be doing from beginning to end our conversation was easy and helpful, she help me get through the pain .....FYI I'm a screamer lol! I ended my appt by booking another one because she was just that great. I also felt that her pricing was very reasonable. I had a phone consultation before my first appointment. At my appointment, my skin was analyzed to see sun damage and inflammation. We also went through my concerns and health history. It was very thorough and Kathleen was professional and very kind throughout the whole experience. The facial itself was extremely relaxing. She does a microcurrent facial and I believe it lasted about 1.5 hours. Afterwards, my skin was calm and glowing! I was interested in cleansers and a new moisturizer, she sent me home with samples to try and I never felt pressured to purchase any products. I didn't mind, it only made sense. I used the bathroom and sat down and within minutes, i was next. It was very fast, which i liked but worried me a little. I sat in my chair and I specifically asked for cleaning and not thinning them, whatsoever, as i always do anywhere i get my brows done.They offer threading or wax, i went with threading. I did brows, upper lip and sides. She worked very fast; within minutes, i was done. i paid and tipped and went to my car. Still in the parking lot, i look at my brows and notice that one side is thinner than the other. Brows are cousins not sisters, i know, but naturally. You can tell one was threaded thinner, and it looked like a mistake. I used my phone light to look closer and found a white line under my left brow that my right brow didn't have, showing how much of it was threaded off. I also saw hairs still in the middle and under both brows, so i went back in and told her about them. She told me that she didn't use her glasses so she didn't see, which i didn't like because for intricate work like that, you should use ur glasses. No biggie, she cleaned the random hairs. I then told her that she threaded too much on one side. She told me she didn't see it and they looked even to her. I got close to the mirror and used my phone to extend a straight line from one end tip of one brow to the other, and showed her how one is thinner. She told me she could make the other thinner to make them even; which not only confirmed the unevenness but also i didn't appreciate the lack of accountability. I told her i didn't want to do that and instead i'd rather wait for the other to grow out. I was hoping she was quick because she's been doing it for so long, but quick in this case meant rushing and nothing good comes from that. People make mistakes sometimes but i think it's important to take accountability and maybe don't rush. It's not a cheap service and it's important to do it right. I didn't make a big deal of it because with brows and hair, there's not much you can do, the damage has been done. I simply told her about it and showed her and she didn't say anything other than telling me she can make the other side thinner to make it even rather than apologize.

When I got home the first night, my entire occular area began burning. i believe the company changed the eyebrow tint. It definitely was NO the same dye that had been used during my previous visits. I wrote all of this up and the manager tried to contact me once. I sent him two more emails and 11 days later, the skin around my eyes and eyebrows is still burning. I think all of the staff are very capable, especially Andrea; however, I would not get my eyebrows tinted there ever again!

These are individual franchises and this one is awful. The owner could care less what happened, was rude and condescending. I posted on Nextdoor and found others who were injured at this location. Don't go to this one under any circumstances. My daughter tried European Wax Center today and said it was the best she's ever had. This franchise is a dangerous place with an evil owner. I'm filing a law suit, making complaints to every agency in Raleigh possible.
