The session happens in an open area, but not to worry...it's not a gym. Dani Mathers wasn't lurking in the shadows ready to Insta-shame my haggard ass. I got used to the lack of privacy. They have full length mirrors so you can watch your form but instead I focused on the varicose vein bulging behind my left knee that I didn't know I had. After my initial anxiety abated, I came to enjoy the PG barber shop vibe going on which made each session fly by. From the physical therapist to the techs, everyone was encouraging and positive. After two months of therapy, I have abs of steel and glutes of granite. You won't be seeing a gratuitous gym selfie, though, as they are still buried under an inch of flabbery blubber.

February 2, 2026 was the last straw !!! PT: He gives me an exercise to do for a timed 1 minute in duration. He does not stay, observe or correct my form. He runs across the room to talk to a female employee. It takes him several minutes to return. All the additional exercises are exactly the same situation, sets timer & then crosses the room. Back a few minutes LATER. (He spends half of my paid PT appointment elsewhere.) Things got worse when he barked instructions from across the room & then got mad & in my face for doing them incorrectly !!! I once AGAIN, just like every appointment, informed him I have a severe hearing ADA disability & CANNOT UNDERSTAND him (1) because he states "cannot speak any louder" (2) Gives instructions from across the room !!! He DID NOT HAVE ANY TROUBLE RAISING HIS VOICE WHEN HE WAS "IN MY FACE". John Olson was HOSTILE, ABUSIVE, OBNOXIOUS, UNPROFESSIONAL & UNABLE to control his obvious Biased & Predacious for this hearing-impaired individual. I WILL NOT TOLERATE THIS TYPE OF TREATMENT FROM ANY ONE !!! NOR WILL I EVER WORK WITH this LIER again !!! I reported his actions to Tucson Veterans Administration & requested another / competent Physical Therapy organization. At first I was concerned if it was going to make it worse or better. People have always told me that sometimes physical therapy can actually hurt you more than help you. In this case that just was not true. These people truly care, help you. They push you to better yourself but never try to push you any further than you can go. They always have everything clean, sanitized and they were very caring and always explained everything very well and helped anytime you needed it. They always had a very specific plan for when you got there based off your progress and had all the means and tools ready for you for that session. They were very friendly and kind and made the experience that much better because they treated you like family. I even got the pleasure to meet shadow and Rosie and that alone brightened my day. Animals truly are great therapy for the heart mind and soul .They're very good with their patients I honestly wish I didn't have to leave. There were never any wait times literally they had you walk right back and had everything ready for you. My only regret is; I do not have the choice of 6 or more stars. I have dealt with a hip "injury"…read more for many years. The rest of my leg has recently started to become involved. I have not had a good night's sleep in a very long time because of it. I have used every modality to get some relief, to only temporary or no avail. The treatment was not without some initial brief pain and discomfort, but It was completely necessary and what needed to be done. I have never experienced such immediate relief. It was the first time in many years that I could cross my legs easily. I also had the best pain-free sleep in a very long time. Ann Marie is more than knowledgeable. She is magical. I'm doing my "homework" and look forward to my next appointment.

I've always had spasms and have gone back and forth with massage and chiropractors but nothing has really improved the problem- just masked it. I tend to store lots of tension and stress in my neck so between that and being pregnant twice and nursing for extended amounts of time (this will do a job on your neck- trust me) in the last 3 years, I really needed some help! Dr. Anne Marie set me at ease, talked through all of the techniques while doing them and explained everything. It was definitely a relaxing session and I can't wait to go again. Dr Anne Marie is definitely skilled at what she does and her bedside manner is second to none. She genuinely cared about my experience followed up to check on me. I can't believe how lucky we are to have a therapy like this available to us on Aquidneck Island! If you are not sure what to do next with constant, chronic pain, give Subtle Harmony a try. I highly recommend it!
