This organization promotes the fact that they do manual therapy, and I called to verify that they do, and they said yes. I couldn't find at any other PT location in this area that said they did manual therapy at all. When I got to Progressive and told them that they reason I came to them was because they say they do manual therapy and the other places in this area don't, I asked again if they do manual therapy and they again said yes. During my first of about four sessions (I don't live in this area but needed PT because I am rehabbing from surgery), I got one very short manual therapy session for about 5 minutes and the rest of the time the therapist was using some modality on me, like ultrasound, e-stim, and ice, and NOT manual therapy. I'm not sure how anyone can really rehab there by getting only 30 minutes with a therapist and no real exercises, and them using some modality on you for that short period of time. On one of my visits, my therapist watched me warm up on a stationary bike for 10 minutes of my 30 minutes with him. Not much by way of exercises while I was there at all. I guess if you want exercises, you don't get manual, or any modalities because there isn't enough time to do both. I didn't see any pulley machines which I am used to using for my surgery rehab. Not sure where or how they help someone do exercises. Glad I brought some equipment with me while I was visiting to do exercises at home, or I wouldn't have made any progress with my surgery recovery. I have been going to physical therapy because I have had many, many surgeries over many years and have landed on a great physical therapist who actually does manual therapy and then sets you up to do exercises also while you are there so you can heal at an accelerated pace or on schedule. My experience at Progressive PT was very underwhelming and I think they are probably better then most of the other PT office in this area, which is scary. None of the other PT office I called said they did manual therapy at all so not hopeful you can rehab at these other places any better, and probably worse. It is sad to see that Insurance pays for PT from organizations who really don't seem to help you make a lot of progress to being functional again. If I didn't have my great Physical Therapist I wouldn't have know how bad other providers are and how sad it makes me for all the people who need PT and really don't have any idea of how lacking these Physical Therapy companies are in helping them to be functional again. read more

We moved here over the summer from the Philly area, where I'd been receiving gluteal tendinopathy PT without any improvement. I could not get up from a chair. Our new GP recommended Progressive. Yesterday, after a few months of once-weekly sessions, I was put on "pause" to see how I do without therapy because I. Am. Doing. So. Well! I always felt like my prior therapists went by "the book," while Michelle and her team listened and adjusted, listened more, adjusted more. ...I am hoping my "pause" ends up being a "discharge" eventually, but this is a condition that may require maintenance and activity/exercise tweaking as I get older. The team at Progressive Physical Therapy has provided outstanding treatment for me over the past three years. They got me up and walking again without pain when I was diagnosed with sciatica. I was also undergoing cancer treatment at that time, and they were great working with my other scheduled treatments and my full time job as well. They gave me exercises to go through at home which were simple and very helpful in my recovery. I later had to have a total knee replacement, and with their help I am on my way to a full recovery from that arduous surgery. I am so grateful my oncologist first recommended the therapists at Progressive for my sciatica. The team here is amazing, from the therapists to the office staff! They listened to me, helped me set achievable goals, and have worked with me through these two very challenging life events! Unfortunately for my aging body, I have needed a a number of physical therapy appointments in order to get past numerous health events, surgeries, and falls in the past 8 years. I have had the opportunity to have the help and support of many of the different therapists and well trained assistants. I can't say enough good things about them all. Everyone who is employed there does their best to accommodate our busy schedules, as well as provide appropriate therapy to get each patient nearer their goals. I feel their goal is also mine.... good health and getting every client back to their normal activity level as quickly as possible. Progressive Therapy will always be my choice. Went there for months to rehab my shoulder after shoulder surgery. They never did anything to get me better only the same thing over and over again I finally had to move to a different place to get something done. Staff was rude go to a different place don't waste your time here read more

Really unfortunate I had a great visit with a PT person and as a new patient was looking forward to treatment . I even was helpful and photocopied my referral and all my records feom another state. The office manager / part owner wife Marie Olsen was rude and unprofessional. She was FRANTIC and aggressive I had 3 forms of government issued ID and she refused and insisted on a Triwest ID., she started claiming she was going to send in as a cash payment- and cancelled the month of appointments. treating myself and my insurance as if we were criminals ; the United Stated Military / VA usually are not criminals thank you very much , there is no such thing. I kept repeating myself I have my drivers license and my military ID and Insurance referrals My insurance even called her immediately and was appalled by her lack of knowledge- she was so upset at her own behavior she called over her husband by snapping her fingers in air- to step in because she was being difficult. John Olsen and his comment and aggressive demeanor was unessary and a lie I was a new patient he said every time I come in -!? I'm I'm a new patient sir. So unprofessional. Actually, I was afraid and feeling ashamed for them I was sitting In A chair with a back brace on and a cane. He stood above me . I was afraid he was going to assault me. My phone mistakenly was on and taped the entire show. So to Steve ;sorry you are loosing a patient and I'm sure a string of others when they hear about this treatment towards me for no reason. Had my right kne replaced on Oct 2,2013. The staff is extremely friiendly and the theropy is very good. They push you to get better faster. The Theropist are well knowledged of all aspects of knee replacements. They did such a good job I played a round of golf Thanksgiving day. Thats 7 weeks after a total knee replacement. I am having me laeft knee replaced in Seot and wil definately go there for my theropy. read more
