They do everything from keys (including "digital chip" key clones) to vast amounts of nuts and bolts, SAE and metric, tools, supplies, home/industrial hardware. They are not Grainger or Lee's. They are not Lowes or Menards. Their prices are sometimes high, but they don't sell cheap gear. I wished they'd sell lumber and plants, but maybe it's better that they don't. They get five stars for being the best HARDWARE store in the area. You don't have to buy a huge blister pack to get just one or two of an item. Their clerks know what they have, and it's a good idea to ask them. They sometimes have better alternatives in mind, and their selection is vast for the size store they operate; they can save you a lot of time, unlike the big box stores, where there are no real specialists except the Big Item sales people. Yes its fun to browse all the items, but if you need to be quick, they can take you right to where the item is located because they know their store's layout precisely or know who to ask if they stock your item. I always buy my furnace filters from Ace Hardware and I always buy the Ace brand. They only cost $4 and some change for the ones that last three months. However more than one furnace repairman has told me to only use the 3 months filters for two months and that is what I do. If you need specific screws, bolts and nuts of a certain size, length or strength, their staff will help you find the right ones in their vast inventory of hardware and fasteners. You can buy the exact quantity you need without having to buy a prepackaged amount often sold in big box stores. Big box stores rarely offer the right size you are looking for in single amounts. From grass seed, to gardening tools, to paint and all their accessories, plumbing and toilet seats, hand tools and a few power tools, to electrical supplies and much more, they pretty much have everything you need except lumber. Sometimes I wish they would stock just some basics like 2x4s, but then space is limited and some stock room would have to be sacrificed. Don't forget to sign up for their rewards program. It pays you back in gift cards good at the store.

When not wanting to make the trip to Bloomington, Greenwood, or Camby, they will have what you need for most small and some large home projects. Their outdoor fountain selection is impressive and I've ooh and ahh over then every time. Have scored a ladder late on a weekday evening, floor cleaners, bird feeders and small gifts, and occasional nails nuts and bolts to hang pretties around the house. We were even able to find all of the items to make one of my Pinsperations come to life on a whim a few weeks back and I couldn't be happier with it!

They carry everything from Stihl tools to lumber. A friendly old cat, laying on bags of bird seed, greets you when you enter. Today, I was in need of sticky reflective letters for my kayak. I was greeted immediately by a clerk, who cheerfully offered assistance. He walked me to an aisle that had the letters I needed in several sizes. Prices were good and quick checkout! Parking is easy in and out in their private lot. I'll be back.

They carry selections of electrical, plumbing, hardware, paint and lumber. Prices are ok for convenience in the small town of Edinburgh. I find the staff helpful and friendly. Today, I picked up sandpaper. Prices were comparable to big box store prices. They make keys. They had just gotten in a selection of colorful fall mums for $6.99. Garden supply is limited but adequate including wheel barrows and yard tools. There is also a selection of trendy gear such as Yeti. They even carry a modular garage. They also rent larger equipment like trench diggers. The free popcorn is at the back of the store!
