They insured the walls had proper drainage and graded and seeded after constructing the walls. The Shelby County community is lucky to have such a honest and talented landscaping company in its area. We would highly recommend McIntires for any lawn and landscaping need. McIntire now has a full line of annuals, preannials, shrubs and trees. Thier selection is the highest quality in the county. If anyone recalls the original Elsbury's in Hope, they have one of the long time employees managing their plant and garden center. You will see plants of the variety and quality you won't find at a WalMart or Rural King. If you are serious about your garden and landscape you must give them a look.

They were really busy today as it is the day before Mother's Day. They carry a lot of gift items and hanging the flower baskets. This is a very nice Amish family run greenhouse.

Usually 2 people working behind counter and if not busy then service is pretty quick, but if they're with a customer, it might take a while before they get to you. Some customers issues seem to take 30 minutes, others 2 minutes, and its wait your turn type service. The prices seem correct for their mowers and they carry several name top quality name brands. They also carry small items, such as spark plugs too. The mowers they sell are not the cheap wal-mart type mowers, they sell expensive, long lasting mowers here. U-Haul truck rental is the other park of their business, so if you need a truck, they have several to rent.

We were given instructions and then set free to go and wander around the property. Learning about the history of the farm was a story I've told repeatedly since leaving. My first time to Dollie's farm! I've been excited about going for weeks. I went during their…read moreLavender festival, so my experience included a few things that may not usually be there; a couple of food trucks and vendors. And lots of people! That being said, I had a lovely day at Dollie's. The location appears to be dog and family friendly and would be a fun day out for families. Flowers were very popular with various sizes offered at a range of cost, from small bunches to a bucket! I went for the lavender. You are given a basket and garden shears and left to cut your own. I took my time and enjoyed the relaxing environment. Pricing is per ounce, pre-wrapped bundles are available but these are dried. There are a few animals including peacocks! A store is located on the site, filled with cute home and body care. All of the items were lavender themed-I'm not sure if this was done for the festival or if this is standard.

We were looking for a spot not far from home for some quiet and reflection during a life transition…read moreand someone recommended this spot. I'm so glad that they did as it was just what we needed. It is run by donation so the prices vary depending on what you request but we found it to be an amazing deal for the quiet, delicious meals and space to wander in nature and reflect. The main house has several bedrooms with shared baths as well as one or two with a private bath. The main dining space is on the main floor which is where those staying eat dinner together provided by the staff. Other meals are on your own and there are portions of casseroles etc in a freezer for you to choose from and warm up whenever you might want a meal. They have coffee and tea and do ask for a small donation toward the costs of those but it means you can make things when you want and not have to rush for a morning breakfast time! The overall ambience is one of quiet as it is located in a wooded area with some trails around the house. You can stay inside in several rooms or sunroom, or find seating outside on a porch or along the lake or near the fire pit. It would be an amazing spot to host a weekend retreat or go with friends for a day, or bring a small group for a time together. The couple who run the spot are amazing and down to earth, and always willing to stop and have a conversation. They use volunteers to run the retreat center as well so it is a great way to give back to the community by giving of your time to help with meal prep, landscaping and other needed activities. We throughly loved our time there and the food was simply amazing! We are already looking at our calendars to pick a date for next time.

The retreat is a peaceful country setting and the interior and exterior provide plenty of peaceful areas for rest and reflection. I have not stayed overnight, but had the pleasure of Volunteering in the kitchen. It was a great experience to volunteer with a friend and work along side one of the owners in preparing meals for the guests. Everything has been thoughtfully planned out by the Husband and wife duo who own the retreat center. It was an absolute pleasure to be part of the experience. We took a break for lunch and ate in the back of the home where there was a huge deck with several porch swings and tables tucked away overlooking a pond. The fire pit looks absolutely perfect for a crisp evening. If you are looking for a Christian retreat or even a volunteer experience I would highly recommend!

This store was one of cleanest and well organized I have experienced. The service is SUPERIOR. We got a big hello as soon as we opened the door and were asked no less than four times while exploring the the store if we needed assistance. We found exactly what we were looking for at a price far less than we expected. In fact we found a number of other items that were too good a price to pass by. The product on the shelves are very well marked unlike the local Rural King. The prices are very much more affordable than Gilmans and Builders.
