Throughout nursing school, I struggled a lot with life situations etc happening but throughout true genuine non AI-generated but human to human interactions with all the lovely patients , I was able to get through it all, like I tell everyone I was not treating the patients it was a true "the patients were treating me" moment . I think through hitting that rock bottom I was truly able to see my love for health care and the I don't care what others say, all the staff and I mean even the ones that I struggled with , helped me with my growth so I want to thank everyone single staff there. Ms.Amy Ms.Marla Mr.dmeza Ms.Ellen Ms.Elsie Ms.hajin Mr.diego but most importantly the 3 that stayed with me and stayed in touch until day I let them know I passed my NCLEX 1st time was Dr.MARCELO MS.ERICKZEN AND MS.GIGI I was in their office studying, stress snacking literally until that last minute of going in for my NCLEX and I still can not believe I passed, YALL I struggled SOOOOO much through my entire journey because THEM ATI QUESTIONS even though I studied my ass out and these 3 really wanted me to pass and I could see their effort really so I would like to thank these 3 , im sorry ms.gigi you're not in the picture you left too early but I love you all and thank you so much for all your efforts and helping me thrpght this journey, and especially MS.erickzen and MS.gigi I wanted to tell you I look up to you two and hope I can be a nurse like you guys and thank you for putting up with me even though we had a rough start LOL you guys are my rock

I graduated from American Career College's Vocational Nursing program in May 2026 at the LA Campus…read moreand passed my NCLEX the following month. Academically, the program was strong. I felt well prepared for the NCLEX, and the school provided enough resources (especially BoardVitals and VATI) that I personally didn't need to purchase additional review programs. Career Services was another highlight. They helped me land my first job within a month of becoming licensed and continued to provide guidance afterward. They didn't just push nursing home or home health positions. They encouraged me to become IV-certified, shared opportunities in acute care and specialty clinics, and gave practical advice on presenting myself professionally during the job search. My biggest criticism is the clinical experience. For the cost of tuition, I expected more variety in clinical placements. Most of my rotations were in skilled nursing facilities and community health clinics, and I would have appreciated more hospital experience. I also wish the school had considered commute times and transportation when assigning clinical sites. Students without reliable access to a car often had long commutes on public transportation, which made already demanding clinical days even more challenging. I think this is an area where the program could be more equitable and student-centered. Overall, I believe ACC does an excellent job preparing students to pass the NCLEX and provides valuable career support after graduation. My main suggestion for improvement would be creating a more balanced, accessible, and diverse clinical experience that better reflects the investment students make in the program.

I can't recommend the ACC LA Radiography Program enough. I want to give a huge thank you to Mr. M,…read moreMr. Demers, Mr. S, Mr. Burkhart, Mr. Flowers, and Ms. B for everything they've done for me. They played a huge role in helping me graduate, preparing me for the ARRT, and giving me the confidence to succeed in this profession. One thing I want future students to know is that these instructors truly want nothing but the best for you. They will push you because they care. Sometimes their feedback can be tough, but it's never personal because they want you to become a safe, knowledgeable, and successful radiologic technologist. Looking back, I'm grateful for every lesson and every challenge because it made me a better technologist. A special shoutout to both Mr. M and Mr. Demers. They are both exceptional instructors whose passion for radiography and dedication to their students is unmatched. They genuinely care about every student's success and always go above and beyond to make sure you understand the material, think critically, and become the best technologist you can be. Their years of experience, knowledge, and commitment to teaching are evident every single day. I've even had people from other schools and other states message me saying how lucky I was to be taught by Mr. M because of his reputation in the radiography community. Together, Mr. M and Mr. Demers didn't just prepare us to pass the ARRT. They prepared us to become competent, confident, and safe radiologic technologists. Mr. S, Mr. Burkhart, and Mr. Flowers were amazing throughout clinicals. They always made sure we stayed on top of our clinical rotations, competencies, and hours, and they were always there to guide us every step of the way. Their support and mentorship helped us grow into confident technologists who were ready for real-world clinical practice. I also want to thank Ms. B for always being supportive, patient, encouraging, and committed to helping every student succeed. This program is challenging, and it's not supposed to be easy. Success takes effort from both the instructors and the students. If you come in ready to learn, study, accept feedback, and put in the work, these instructors will do everything they can to help you succeed. For me, every dollar of tuition was worth it. I graduated feeling prepared, passed my ARRT, and now I'm starting my career with confidence. I have absolutely no regrets choosing this program. Thank you again to the entire faculty for believing in me, pushing me to be my best, and helping me build the foundation for my career. I will always be grateful. RTR

I would like to sincerely thank my instructors who made a significant impact on my education. Dr. Bhaa, Nisha, Vic, and Dr. Gigi were outstanding instructors in Echocardiography and helped me build a strong foundation in cardiac ultrasound. Their teaching, guidance, and valuable insights improved my knowledge and skills and helped me successfully achieve my RDCS credential. Garenneh and Narenia were amazing instructors in Vascular Lab. Their high standards, attention to detail, and commitment to teaching helped me develop strong scanning skills and a better understanding of vascular ultrasound. Looking back, I truly appreciate their dedication and the level of preparation they provided, because it helped me become more confident and prepared for real clinical work. Sohrab provided excellent Physics instruction and built such a strong foundation that helped me successfully pass the SPI exam with confidence. The ADN program SUCKS!…read more Alot of the staff and professors do NOT care for there students and hinder our success ALOT. The school is super unorganized from finances to registrar with constant mistakes/battles. One of the professors went in about how much they love trump and certain policies which was shocking and super not professional. I came here and paid to learn Professor Swami lies/makes false promises and tells students maybe you shouldn't do nursing in the middle of the program. Of course no school is perfect but this school compared to all others is unprofessional/lazy and ridiculous.
