Turns out it was the DC input from the charger to the motherboard; although I can see why he would recommend a motherboard swap but I already spent $200 to replace the screen... it still didn't work so I couldn't use it anywhere except my dock at home :( I only put on an extra star because I might not know exactly what I'm talking about but my laptops been working fine since I replaced this part alone, saving money VS coming to this repair shop. Would not recommend coming here unless you can dedicate a full 24 hours away from a screaming, nagging wife to fix things with your own two hands. I basically paid a professional to help me repair my own laptop so unless you're coming here for a desktop or tower PC, Stay far away from this repair.

This started out good and I thought we were going to get good help. We purchased a projector…read moretelevision from Best Buy a few months ago and we are looking for a speaker to enhance the sound. We had already ordered a Bose speaker that was not compatible with the projector and we then learned that the blue tooth speakers are not compatible with the projector because of latency in the sound. That is fine. So, when we asked about speakers that could connect with a hard wire, that is when things headed south. The guy helping us (I did not get his name) started asking us why we bought a projector and tried to get us to return the projector to Best Buy and buy a Frame television. So instead of making a commission on a nice speaker for us to connect to our projector, he tried to make a bigger sale with a television that we did not want. Once we indicated that we were not interested......HE WAS NO LONGER INTERESTED IN HELPING US. Such a disappointing experience.

Then I got a second quote of $367.00, and he wanted payment ahead of the service!! I responded that I never pay until after the work is done (all consumer websites say never to pay until the work is done so you don't get scammed). Then he sent a message stating that there would be an extra charge for setting up the Amazon Fire sticks and IR extender!! Then he sent a message saying my quote was not 10% off, but the total was still $367.00!! SO, then I got on Thumbtack.com and found three quotes for $200, $238 and $250. I'll be going with one of these contractors.
