My 1950's house was drafty, outside audibility was head banging at times, and the windows were cold when it was cold, and HOT when it was hot. I thought, this might be a good idea to change those out and make my world a better place... IT WAS AMAZING, not the cheapest, but here's the thing, I've had 3 windows that broke (rock, bird... you get it). I called, they replaced... No questions, except, "WHAT Happened?", the windows were ordered and replaced. How are the people? So friendly, easy to work with and resolve things as easily as possible. How are the windows? I LOVE my windows. I don't hear outside sounds, there are no drafts when near them. Touching in the winter, or summer, they are pretty much the same temp (E3 windows). Recommendation: If you are in need of windows, the windows come in different colors, so you can match your house (not aluminum color that look prefab). You will be happy when you don't hear the outside noises. You can find comfort that if there is a bird or rock that breaks your window, you can call and Apex takes care of everything. The windows are easy to clean, and did I mention they all come with screens, locking so the window can open but not go passed a certain height for security. I highly recommend Apex Energy Solutions. I had a very positive experience interacting with all Apex Energy Solutions representatives, from the Houston President Jimmy all the way down to the men who installed the windows. They were all very courteous and professional to me. The triple-pane Apex windows are incredibly efficient and well-built. They also look very nice aesthetically from the outside. We can already tell a difference in noise reduction after the windows were installed - for example the noise from the A/C coil unit outside one of our walls is much less noticed now and I'm sure in the summer the difference will be appreciated even more. The crew did a fantastic job removing the old windows (1960's house), installing the new windows, caulking all around, etc. The crew even finished the whole installation job in one (long) day on a Saturday which was appreciated due to our schedule the next day. Several Apex reps were in constant communication with me throughout the process, all the way from the initial order, additional measurements, the billing process to installation. An Apex rep even visited late the afternoon of the installation to walk with me to inspect every window, both inside and out, as we opened the windows vertically and in/out. They were installed wonderfully and there were no issues. The windows do come with a lifetime warranty so if something ever happens they will take care of me. I have experienced nonstop issues with this company and Apex is trying to fix the problems but this job has turned into a sub nightmare. My opinion to anyone reading this would be to look for another reliable company for your windows. My wife and I placed an order for 35 windows with them and signed the contract either late September or early October last year 2018. The windows were suppose arrive and to be installed late December in between Christmas and New Years. I had coordinated and planned that date with when i was planning to take a stay at home vacation from work because it was going to be a 4 day install job. Needless to say that the windows did not arrive in the estimated dates I was given from Apex Energy Solutions. Throughout January and February i made numerous phone calls and sent emails to them. My windows finally showed up late February for the installation. I then had to schedule with my job to take another 2 days off that way Apex could do the installation. Round 1 (2/14-17/2019) - During the installation one of the install guys dropped and broke one of the windows and made a claim that it it came from the manufacturer broken. Well my son was upstairs and heard the guy drop it and I also checked my surveillance camera footage and it also showed him drop it. Another window did actually come with a defect and was not able to be installed. During the installation the crew damaged my Hardi siding and replaced the siding with regular untreated 1x2 wood. The install crew also damaged my kitchen backsplash and did not tell me and tried to hide it but i found it when i did my final inspection. So at the end of the day i have 4 windows not installed due to being broken or defects. The install crew left the 2 glass arches in my garage for storage and took the two broken ones with them. The foreman said that it would be 2 weeks for the new ones to arrive and that the office will schedule something with me when they come in. Round 2 (4/29/19) As you could see from the date it was not 2 weeks for the replacement parts to come in but it was 2 months. I scheduled off another day off to accommodate this now botched job. I say that because when the crew arrived here to do the install they were confused of what to do. Remember that they took the 2 broken windows and stored them in their company's warehouse and during that time frame someone in their warehouse threw them away. So, when they showed up here they thought that it was inside my garage. The foreman finally showed up and realized the screw up and apologized. He told me again that they would have to reorder the windows and it would be another 2 weeks. That day was a complete and utter waste. I wasted another vacation day because nothing could be done. Round 3 (????)- I will update when this finally happens. read more

On Tuesday morning Apex came and replaced the original single pane windows in our 1974 home. I had planned to be out of the house but one of my two children caught a bug and we decided to stick around. Not ideal to have tiny feet running around during a major project like this. I could not have been more thankful for the awesome team at Apex. They took care making sure any tools and debris were out of reach of the little hands. It was noticed and appreciated. I don't think I've ever had people working on our home that would take the time to continuously engage the boys. The peak was definitely watching the crew smile and wave "hello" and "goodbye" to Adam every time they were coming and going. The pride and care the installers took in the job was noticed not only by myself but my neighbors that began approaching them and commenting on the job. The last hour before leaving I noticed them going through and carefully inspecting each window, cleaning and touching up spots I didn't even notice. The crew finished up yesterday afternoon and I couldn't be more excited about how they turned out. I would definitely recommend them. Very pleased with our new windows. They look great, open and close easily, you can clean them from the inside (they fold down). We now have no more drafts and the temperature in the house is noticeably more pleasant. Everyone at Apex was great to work with, from sales to instillation. In January 2017, Apex replaced all of the ground floor windows of our 1940-constructed house. Windows were on our long-term to do list when we bought the house, but just hadn't gotten around to it when Apex knocked on the door. We had a great experience with everyone we met - from the first person that knocked on our door to tell us about their products, to the person who came to measure our windows and the installation crew. The sales guys we met with were engaging, the installation crew was clean and tidy, and respectful of our home (avoided tracking dirt indoors when they came in to use the restroom). We kept all street-facing windows as they were (with grids), but completely changed the windows in the back of our house, and now have a fantastic view of our back yard through a huge picture window, and we love it. Our original windows were painted shut, and we have been enjoying opening up several to allow a fresh breeze through the house as well; something we had no option of doing before. Having just replaced several windows in a previous house before moving to this one, we knew what the going rate was for various products on the market. Strong recommendation for Apex. We had 28 y o single pane metal windows- very common in homes built in the 80s and early 90s. They were ugly, inefficient and we always heard the traffic off 610 even though we're several blocks in and have lots of trees. We researched several other companies a few years ago and were completely turned off by the price and pushy sales tactics. Our new triple pane windows are beautiful, efficient and the silence in our house is remarkable. The service and the installation crew were second to none.
