There were a few areas where I didn't want plants disturbed and they totally honored that. The price was very fair and I'm so glad I hired them for my job. From the start, he was extremely clear in his communication of exactly what his bid included and what kind of results to expect and also provided other options we could pursue. His work included a generous warranty that covers not only things like cracking and shifting but also if the tree roots lift up the new panels again. As soon as we signed our contract, he and his crew were out almost immediately for demolition over the weekend and poured the new panels just a few days later before sealing everything post-cure. The final price we paid was very reasonable (almost 30% less than other bids!), particularly considering this project included the extra work of removing tree roots buried under the panels. We're happy with the result and would recommend him for any kind of concrete work.

After removing the concrete, replacing the rotted wood, he built us a small deck area which gives us larger lateral space as a door step compared to the small concrete step.
