Hand Me Down Zoo gives a home to unwanted animals including exotics too, and she let us know which of her animal friends were available, and if you follow their Facebook page, you can get updates on new critters and creatures. The full hour was super fun and informative, and ended with us having the opportunity to return to the goats out front. There are amazing group deals on their website as well as some more information about the business! Melissa, co-owner, was there the day we went in and she was so so welcoming. We were supplied ponchos and shoe coverings as well as lockers for our things and even hair nets and accessories. They thought of it all! Melissa explained everything to us and made sure we were comfortable before leaving us to our creativity. I absolutely loved the fact that we were always checked on as well as our paint and cleaning waters. Melissa would make encouraging comments I needed because I for one am not creative. LOL I absolutely cannot wait to drop by again and bring others because I definitely feel it's a very special little place. The vibe just gives and I'm so grateful to know a place like this exists.
