We actually first talked with one of their well known local competitors (cough, Curtis, cough), who fell somewhere between dishonest and used car salesmen. Then we ended up at Apache and were so glad we did. We felt we were treated honestly and fairly, and the place had a very family-run feel. I saw a travel trailer I liked at the RV show from Apache and worked with Cody in Sales. He was very patient with a first-time buyer, and helpful in researching my needs, desires and limitations with my tow vehicle. Ultimately, I ended up not purchasing from them, as they just didn't have something light enough for my vehicle that could sleep four, but it wasn't for lack of trying. I would warn potential buyers to be cautious of weights listed on manufacture's spec sheets, as those numbers are significantly lighter than the actual weight of the trailer. Look for the sticker on the trailer door for accurate dry and hitch weights. read more

At the start of January 2016 I bought a 2016 Nash 23D from Apache Camping in Portland Oregon. I bought this specific trailer after months of research and only ended up buying from Apache Camping because the model they had on hand came with thermal pane windows. My salesman was named Chuck. It was a quick sale since I knew what I wanted, the add-ons I wanted and there was no real haggling with the deal I got. Then it all went wrong. I waited till the black and gray tanks were over 2/3 full to dump, this was at the end of my 4 day shake down trip. When draining the tanks; the black tank trickled out, then I dumped the gray tank, pulled the sewer hose, and I found a stick of wood inside the hose. I was not surprised by this find since I had read on RV related forums that this does happen when they cut out the hole for the commode, you can get wood inside the tanks. Hoping that it was a one time incident, the stick was cleared from the hose and I went home. I camped again in the trailer and tried to drain the tanks but still felt the black water should not trickle out based upon previous travel trailers I have owned. At the end of January I was headed to go camp at Mount Hood. I live on the coast and called Apache before I started my trip to see if I could stop by on my way and have some one look at it. I called Chuck and he quickly passed me over to service department, where I told the story of wood in the sewer hose, slow drainage of black tank and he told me that this may or may not be covered by my warranty. After telling him that I just paid a large amount for a new trailer, I found wood exiting the sewer pipe, then I could not see why it would not be covered to have them look at it real quick. It was at this point that I told him I would fix it myself. I said good bye and hung up. I received a call from the Service Manager a few minutes later. He was informed that I was not happy after I was told that I may have to pay for the service. We discussed what it was and that he would not be able to see me that day. I was informed that if the clog was due to my misuse of the black tank then the service would be charged. I explained the wood piece and my concern that there was still more inside and that the trailer was not even a month old at this point. Conversation was ended abruptly by me since I was going to lose service and had lost faith that Apache Camping was interested in fixing the problem. After I was back in cell service I had a voicemail from Kevin. I was impressed that he called me back so decided to give them a call back in hopes of rectifying the black tank problem. This is the last mistake. We spent almost ten minutes on the phone with him telling me what great customer service is and how Apache Camping provide it. I told him the problem again and talked about buying a plumber snake and fixing it myself. This started another conversation how he know great customer service after all the years in the business. I explained the problem again, once again more great customer service commentary from Kevin. He did offer to reimburse me for the snake after another talk about great customer service. Discussion was ended. It has been two and half months since my purchase of a brand new trailer from Apache Camping. I have never had a call or email to see if I was happy with my purchase or with Apache Camping. It has been a month and half since my black tank issue, that my Salesman, the service tech, service manager and Kevin were all aware was happening. I have had some other issues that have happened since but having no trust in Apache Camping or their Customer Service I feel I have been left to correct the issues myself. I am happy with the Trailer, Nash 23D, it is a great four season trailer. I have camped in the woods, snow and high desert. The coldest temperature outside was 19 degrees at Prineville reservoir and I was warm all night. Last week I was at Wickiup Reservoir where it proceeded to snow. Five inches of snow and it preformed stellar. read more

Disappointed. The sales team was more interested in their morning donuts than on making a sale. I stopped in to see a Nash trailer. Apparently the entire sales team, including the manager, had missed their wake-up call. They did not have the trailer in stock they were not interested in answering my questions. My wife and I bought a 1918 Artic Fox 32A from Everett Apache Camping and had a smooth process. Our bigger concern was what kind of service we would receive once we drove off the lot (our previous purchase was with a dealer that never had time for servicing). Not to worry! Every time we have gone into the service department at Everett Apache (for maintenance, for parts, for anything we needed) we have had prompt, friendly and excellent service! This last time we had a warranty repair which again we received excellent service from Apache! We did not receive the same from a different dealer involved with the repair, but Apache bent over backwards to help...thank you Kevin! Our friends are looking for a new trailer and we referred them to Everett Apache because it is not just about the sale but about the service and relationship! read more

Bought a trailer from them early Spring. Very nice salesperson, but once you have to deal with their service center, beware! Guys back there have zero customer service skills and badmouth the front office. Definite management problems going on. Both of our first trips out with the brand new trailer the water heater didn't work ( bad circuit board ) and when we brought it in to be fixed the crabbies in the service area acted like it was not their problem and begrudgingly replaced the circuit board. We purchased an RV from them back in August. We felt like we got a pretty good deal on a nice RV. Well guess what, they sold us the RV without even having the title. So we have been paying on this thing for 4 months and US Bank still has not received the title from them. It is now more than 4 months later and we still don't have plates for the RV (so I can't even legally drive it). So now we are at a point where we are going to request a new trip permit every two weeks until we get our plates (but we have to drive an hour each way to get it). We have called several times and they are useless. Do not buy an RV from this place because they specialize in travel trailers and have no idea how to correctly license a vehicle. Going to the better business bureau next if this is not resolved... read more

I had been looking for a travel trailer for quite a while. I knew exactly what I wanted. However, inventory was low and most places didn't have what I wanted. We put a deposit down on a trailer at another dealer who really didn't need our business and it showed in their responsiveness. I found another on line at Apache. I called about it and Erik was helpful, friendly and seemed interested in helping me. We went there and saw the trailer and even though they were clearly busy, he spent a good deal of time showing us the features and also other trailers that were comparable. We bought our trailer and made an appointment to pick it up. When we arrived, they were ready for us. Their service department installed our new hitch assembly while we did the walk through of the trailer. The man who demonstrated the features was very knowledgeable and helpful. When that was done, we were ready to hook up and take our trailer home. All in about two hours. It was awesome and I will never go anywhere else for sales or service than Apache. read more

I can not say enough about this RV center. While in the market for finding the perfect 5th wheel, we were at many many RV lots. Apache RV was the first one that did annoy us with their "sales pitch" and push us into something we did not want or was beyond our budget. We happened to have gotten the boss, Kevin, when we were at their lot and you would have never known that. He was gracious, patient, and answered all our questions. When it came to negotiating the price, we told him what we could pay and he told us what he could sell it to us for. There was none of that back and forth talk. We ended up not purchasing the unit that day, as we wanted time to think. Kevin did not pull that "this price is only good for this day" speech. He encouraged us to take the time to think about it. Kevin reached out once or twice to us via email, not in a pushy way, and we ended up making plans to meet him up at the Portland RV show. On that day, the price he offered months previously was still good; which was a very fair and competitive price. We took the plunge and agreed and signed on the doted line. We were pulling out in 2 weeks and we needed resolution for some wiring issues. We were scheduled for this work at Highway Trailer Sales which took us over a month to be seen and upon arrival we were told they were not going to be able to resolve the issue and we would have to reschedule and the next appt was end of December. We needed assistance ASAP and were finding all our surrounding dealer service centers were also booked to end December and January. When we reached out to Apache Camping Center Doug in the service center did not start off the call with discussing how far out they are booked but rather what our situation was and asked us if we would like to be seen that same day! Yes that same day! Upon arrival such a pleasant greet and comfort from Doug that they were able to get us in as we were running late and and in the end we left leave with complete resolution and a warm send off. Yesterday the wife and I went into Apache to look at some travel trailers and 5th wheels. We live in Hillsboro but came out to east Portland because we wanted to view trailers from Northwood (Arctic Fox, Fox Mountain, Nash etc) and it's sister company OutdoorsRV (Glacier Peak, Blackstone, Creekside etc). I looked on their website and saw they had a large selection of these rigs so off we went. The sales guy who came out to greet us was Chuck M. Now we normally don't like to be bothered by sales people while doing our pre-buy research but this guy was AWESOME! No pressure, very knowledgeable and just a very nice guy. Never once did he ask if we wanted to buy today or use lines like, "well that trailer may not be here tomorrow", like other sales people do. We gathered a lot of info and have narrowed our choices down. When it's time to buy we will be heading back to Apache and dealing with Chuck...I suggest you do the same as he will treat you right. Hit the jackpot on this one. I had done a google search for an Arctic Fox 5th wheel that we were interested in. We had first seen it at a dealership in central Oregon and had fallen in love with it however the price was $$$$$. Finding the same unit listed I sent email inquiry regarding the unit and within a couple of hours received a response back. From there we had some more questions, gave the info they asked for regarding our trade in and got a line by line item of the total cost of the unit. There was no pressure nothing just the info we had asked for. I cannot express enough the great customer service, the honest straight forward approach to info price ect about their units. We made a drive up to Portland to look at the unit and put a down payment on it. They held it for us for two weeks until we could get back to pick it up. We also had them install our tow hitch as again good products honest price and great customer service. In this day and age its nice to find a company with old fashion values and approach to business. Chuck Matthews was our sale persons, top notch ...Laura in the business department was excellent and we have since spoke to Keith in the service department. It has been one of the best experiences, we saved well over #18k by coming to Portland and felt as if we hit the jackpot on our unit and all the folks involved in our purchase. Highly highly recommend Apache Camping Center....also after much on line research we could not find a better deal in Oregon, Washington or Idaho. Just wanted to give a big thumbs up to Kevin (the boss, even though he claims that's his wife) and Laura in finance. I'd been shopping around for a Passport travel trailer for a good 8-9 months and was about to pull the trigger on a new one from Apache in Everett when I came across one (used once)on their website in Portland. After exchanging a few emails and phone calls with Kevin, he pretty much made it impossible to turn him down with everything he was offering. At this point, my biggest worry was screwing over the salesman in Everett after all he'd done. No worries, Kevin made sure he got the credit for the deal, so it was just meant to be I guess. Then we had a small issue with the terms on the financing side that we had arranged our selves and Laura stepped in and made things right in very fast order. They shipped the trailer up for the cost of the gas and it was done. Didn't even get to meet them, but they were a pleasure to deal with and would do it again. We bought the Outdoor RV Mountain Series. Now our experience at Apache wasn't negative. This is a review on the camper. I can't leave a review on the RVs main site. This camper, what a POS. A brand new 2019 camper and the first time we take it out the heater didn't work, had to take it in to get fixed. Thankfully we were 'testing it out' at my parents house and the neighbor had a space heater, it was still Cold. Next the sink seal on a BRAND NEW camper, yes I was yelling, leaks from being bent just slightly. We will have to replace the seal and had use buckets while we were camping. To be ready for our trip we are on now my husband just caulked the seal after taking the metal circle off so it didn't leak. As I was doing dishes the seal or lack there of between counter and sink was linking water down. Thankfully it was just drips but seriously?!? Sure, we could take it in and have it fixed but we bought it in Portland and moved to AZ within a month. The hassle to get these things fixed isn't worth taking it in. We invested a lot in a camper that was supposed to be great for all year weather so we will keep it but I can't wait to see what else goes wrong solely by poor manufacturing. read more

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS RV DEALER (1 Star is one to many)! Apache CAN NOT BE TRUSTED, they advertise trailer(s) that they are not authorized by the WA State to sell. We saw a trailer at the Tacoma RV Show went through the selling process... paperwork complete, test drive and EVEN emptied/cleaned/delivered our trade in and was told they (Apache) was just waiting for the solar panel and back up camera to be installed on the new trailer. We went all weekend with NO TRAILER (as Apache had both our trade in & LGM) ONLY to find out on the 11th hour that 'Apache was sorry but we could not pick up the LGM because of an is through through WA State'! REALLY? you can't tell me that Apache did not know they could not sell the LGM till AFTER we completed the whole purchase process! I consider that Fraud & DEALER DISHONESTY! Again, other then what we currently had we never considered another trailer until we saw LGM at the Tacoma RV Show, and were really looking forward to our camping weekend in our new LGM! Not only did we feel that Apache waisted 2 weeks of our time, we have had to spend two days putting our camper back together, since it getting it back from the dealership! read more

I came in on a Monday morning with my awning partially torn from my trailer and the rubber scraped off my roof (darn low-hanging branches). They had absolutely no warning I'd be coming. Iam an employee at Apache camping center. I will start by saying none of the service staff is certified to work on RVs. Many of the used RVs are full of mold and dry rot. The sewage tanks are full of solid waste. The safety standards are nil. We are told to lie to get them sold. Also many of the employees carry guns at work. I was personally threatened by another employee with a sledge happer. And the owner did not fire him on the spot. Do yourself a huge favor and buy at Curtis trailers. I worked there for 3 years and they are an outstanding company. I wouldn't buy an rv at apache if it was $1. The products they sell are terrible. Trust me I'm a service tech. But, after dealing with the no service department, I would highly recommend going else where! Even the President Kevin baker has no c.s. Skills even when you spend your hard earned money on a product they sell..........save yourself the grief and shop other RV dealers. I have owned serveral RVs and never have. I was going to write a long review but I think I will summarize. We put a deposit on a toy hauler because it was the trailer we have wanted for quite a while. When we got to the store (which is 250+ miles from where we live) at our appointed time the trailer was FILTHY, something had fallen on the bed rails on one side and pretty severely dented them and the outside wire to the solar panel had been damaged and was sparking when it touched the hitch. With the extent of the issue we decided not to purchase. When we were taken into the manager office he was immediately very rude and disrespectful. He called us horrible customers and how dare we not purchase when they brought the trailer from Everett for $350. The discussion became very heated before he agreed to reimburse the deposit. If you do decide to purchase from Apache buyer beware and check the unit carefully. PS: Our salesman Chuck M was great to work with. read more

What a disappointment. We had our truck camper serviced here a few times and it was always a struggle. This last week we pulled the trigger on a new Travel Trailer. We tried to buy from them but they didn't have the model we wanted and so we found one out of state. The trailer we purchased is brand new but needs some warranty work done. They flat out REFUSED to help us because we didn't buy there. We had contacted them because they are an approved servicer of the Brand we bought. They were curt and unapologetic. We are shocked and disappointed by their treatment. I never got the chance to tell them we wanted to buy another awning. More lost revenue of them. We will be sure to spread the word to our local RV community and our online RV.net community as well. Huge fail here guys. read more

5 months ago I started looking for a Arctic Fox truck camper.. I live in California and my search started on the internet all the California dealers either didn't have the 1150 model we wanted or they were poor at responding and the prices were what I feel over priced. Kevin Baker from Apache Camping Center in Portland Oregon responded to my emails very promptly his prices blew California away and he was very knowledgeable and never pushy. We agreed on a build sheet and a price over the phone and emails a few weeks later we drove from the Bay Area California to Portland to Apache Camping Center and picked up our 1150 truck camper. We have also contacted Kevin a couple times since the purchase with minor issues that he has responded to ASAP and taken care of without any questions. Prior to driving our truck camper to Florida I had Apache install a roof top AC unit. How refreshing to do business with a company where people answer the phone, keep appointments and complete work on time.
